I walk down to my basement to go to my weight lifting area. I put on some music and beging my normal routine and think to myself.

When I grew up my dream was to be a disney child star. I think that was the start of my obsession with being an actor. From that point on it was full speed ahead. I was switched to online school as I did improv classes, acting studies, singing lessons, and dance. From disney it turned to being a triple threat on broadway. I trained as if my life depended on it. Then one day I misread a audition for the Phantom of the Opera and it spiraled from there.

I was so grateful for everything. I live in a moderate sized home, the only thing extravagent is the stuff inside and the fact that it is in a gated community.  Granted anything in California was expensive but at least I didn't go all out and try to buy a place like Will Smith or Ellen. By the time my reflections about life are over so is my work out. My phone rings as well.

"Hello?" I say without checking.

"Hey (Y/N) it's me. I just wanted to quickly check in with you sweetheart.  I got you schedule for the next two weeks prepared. I'm gonna text it, email it, and have it posted to our shared calendar on google. I wanna make sure you get it because I am heading on vacation those two weeks. I can still answer it if you really need me though. It's just twenty five years with my husband and I feel bad that I am always working," Sandra says.

She's always straight to the point. Says a whole bunch all at once, almost in one breath, so in case the phone cuts off she has said her peace. I smile hearing her anyway.

"I'm so happy for you Sandra! Enjoy your time off. Tell Arnold I say hi. I hope you have fun. That is so nice," I say trying to withhold myself from shouting it at her out of happiness.

"When do you leave?" I ask as I walk up toward my gaming and recording room.

"In three days. I'm getting a night flight. I made sure you didn't have anything major planed for the next five days so in case something comes up I am at least settled in to the point I can help in the blink of an eye. I will say you have a flight coming up for fashion week though so don't forget that," she says with an mhmm mhmm.

She always did that. It was something I also slowly started to pick up which made me laugh from time to time. Sandra really developed into this older woman role model for me since I moved out here.

"Okay sounds good. If I have to I can still text you within today and tomorrow though right?" I double check.

"Yup. For sure. Now I gotta go I have another call hun," she says.

"Thank you Sandra," I say with a small sigh and hear the phone hang up.
