What to do:

1.) First and for most, listen to the freaking messages. If you go in the house and you hear the whisper "Get out" or "Go away" then effing get out! What do people in the movies do, they hear "Get the f*** out of here" and they say, "We should investigate!" Why do you think the ghost decides to haunt you?

2.) Don't just stand there and scream trying to look weak. Do something about it!

3.) Call the ghostbusters

4.) Hiding in attics or a basement or closet - especially alone, is a big no-no.

5.) When someone gets possessed, don't just stand there and scream and cry, get out of there and call an exorcist or something.

How to fight off:

1.) Crucifix, holy water, say your prayers. Simple things.

2.) Offer up someone you hate to get possessed; I mean, better them than you, right?

3.) Go Exorcist style and yell at the demon to take over you and still have control then commit suicide to get rid of it XD But I guess you would die then xD

4.) This is adding to number 1 on "What to do". Really, how do you think it all starts? 

Evil Dead: The book says, "Do not open" What does the guy do? He opens the book and reads it, releaseing the ghost. 

The Exorcist: What did they do? They played with a freaking Ouija board.  

Typical ghost story: The house whispers at you to eff off, and what do you do? "Let's go investigate that!"  

No. Stop. Please. 

Be smart and listen to the voices or messages and then you wouldn't even be in this problem.

5.) Why did you even go to a place that they say it's haunted? They tell you, "This room that you're renting is haunted or someone died in there or whatever." Then you decide to go in the room and what happens - you're being chased by a ghost. And then they weep and wonder why it happened to them, why did this happen to them or their family and they did nothing wrong.  

Um, hello? 

That's like saying, "WHY WERE WE RAN OVER, WE WERE ONLY WALKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY!!! WAAAAA WAAA WA!"
