"We're here guys!" Gryason exclaims, rolling up his map and shoving in his bag.

In front of the group stood a grand stone-brick wall with a rusted gate as the entrance. Inside they heard the chatter of late-night townspeople.

The back whooped in relief. It felt like a much longer trip than it actually was, mainly because of Rage.
"Oh thank god!" Hollow replies back with a smile. "Kay Josh get off of me, you crackernut."

With the midst of their walking, Rage had continued to whine until Hollow had decided to carry him in his arms to stop him from bitching so much.

Needless to say, it worked.

"Awwhh, but i'm so comfy!" The dark-haired man said teasingly.
He made his point by snuggling closer, making the latter's cheeks burn. Fluke and Evanz snickered, turning their heads back to the front when Hollow glared at them.
"I swear to god, I will drop you if you don't get off." The blue-haired brit threatened.

The sound of gates opening got their attention, as well as the holler that came from Mia.
"Well? C'mon then, don't want to be left behind do you?" They hear the elf call out to them.

"Ughhh, fine. Coming!" With everyone's backs turned, Rage quickly pecked his boyfriend on the cheek and hopped off.
The red-wearing brit then quickly followed the group as they entered Morwick's gates, a small smile on his face when he hears Hollow sputter quietly from behind him.

Meanwhile back at front, Grayson led everyone down a gravel path to the local inn.
He hummed quietly, looking around the small town. The houses were still intact, torches lit inside to keep people warm from the cold night; Grass still grew in patches, with flowers blooming peacefully in them under the dim light of the street laterns that hung above the path way.
"Wow.." The blonde heard a sound of awe next to him.
He looks over, seeing Drake look around with a mystified look in his eyes.
Grayson chuckled lightly. "Guess it's been a while since we've seen a town intact huh?"
The hybrid nods back. "It's definitely a welcoming surprise."
The two laugh a little, when the ex-commander looks up and sees the inn straight ahead. "Ah! Here it is!"
A sign hung above, but vines grew over the writing so it's hard to read it. The inn was made of dark oak wood, looking to have about two floors. There were some small windows on both floors, and the entrance was a simple oak door. All in all, it seemed like a perfect place to take a quick break.

Grayson walks over to the door, taking a peek.
Inside, a few empty tables were scattered around, each having a candle and a few platters on them. Above, a small rustic chandelier hung by a single chain, lighting up the room. At the front desk, a girl with ash brown hair was busy wiping the front clean. On her table a small nameplate read "Allura". He assumes that the girl must be the manager of the inn, or at least the head of it. Other than her, the room was empty.
'Huh, it's fairly quiet in here.' He thinks to himself as he enters.
Seeing the blonde go in, Drake follows suit as he gestures everyone to come inside.

Once the group enters the inn, the girl at the front starts talking. "Welcome to Morwick's Inn. I'm Allura, how may I-"
When her gray eyes finally glaze over the crowd, the manager slowly stops talking and wiping.
"Late night visitors?" She questions, raising an eyebrow. "Huh, there's quite alot of you. What's all this about?"
"Uhhhh... Just a quick stop! We're just travellers." Mia replies, chuckling nervously.
The others chattered in agreement, hoping Allura would just let that be the end of discussion.
She gives the group a suspicious look, but shrugs it off."Eh, not like you're the first. So, who's paying for the beds?"
"Oh, I will!" Grayson pipes up, taking out a sack of coins. "How much is the pay?"
"12 Shillings will do." The gray-eyed girl says, putting away her towel under the front desk.

The sound of Grayson shuffling through his sack was the loudest thing in the room. After a few moments, he had a couple coins in his hand. The ex-commander counted them first, then gave it to the manager.
Allura took the handful, counting them as well.
"Go ahead and walk upstairs. You lot are lucky we weren't that busy today, it's surprsing how many people pass by this town of ours."
The tired group trudged upstairs. They hadn't realized how tired they were until they were allowed to slow down. Honestly, quite a few of the would drop on the floor right there at that very moment.

"Wait, you gave me a couple Sovereigns-" Allura points out, but the blonde waves her off.
"Keep the change, i've got more than enough." He says, yawning a little as he followed the others.
The manager looked at him with a surprised look, but didn't complain.
"Way to show off your wealth, Grayson." She heard the shorter one with blue eyes say.
"Whatever, Armen. I'm too tired to think about that now."

Looking down at the coins in her hand, Allura shoves them into her pouch of coins and puts that in her pocket. They seem to be a strange bunch, especially that ender hybrid. She could feel a sort of... strong magic energy around him.
'He must be a pretty strong mage. Maybe strong enough to take my powers away.' The manager thinks to herself.
While no ones around, she leans on her desk and opens one of her palms. Without much thought, a spark of red and orange start to dance on her fingertips.
'Heh, yeah right.' She smirks subtly. 'They'd have to fight me for it.'

After admiring her flames for a moment, she closes her fist. It diminishes the flames into ash, which she takes over to a trash can and tosses away.
"Ah, time to close up shop. It's almost midnight and I need my sleep." Allura says to herself, walking over to the entrance door.
She locks it, and just as she did, the gray-eyed girl suddenly feels cold.
"Huh?" Looking over to the right, the manager sees a window ajar.
Confused, she walks over and locks that too. "Strange, thought I locked that up."

Unknown to Allura, a certain creature seems to have slipped into the inn. Looks like there'll be a surprise in the morning for our eight adventurers.
