Chapter 10 (Part 1)

Drake....

A quiet, hissing voice called the hybrid's name.

Groaning, Drake sat up. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and yawned. "Augh, Grayson? What's wron-"
Opening his eyes, he realized that he wasn't in his tent. Hell, he wasn't even the forest with the others. Standing up from where he laid, the hybrid looked around and found himself surrounded in nothing but darkness.

He tried walking forward but his scenary didn't change. He tried another direction and, of course, it was the still same.
"Huh, looks like i'm dreaming." Drake tells himself, crossing his arms.
It's been a while, but at this point in his life the hybrid is pretty much used to these strange and cryptic dreams.

Tap... Tap... Tap... Tap...

Slow footsteps echoed from behind the mage.
'Another person? But this is in my head, who else could be in here?' He thought, suspicious, as he turns around swiftly.
The footsteps stopped and Drake looks down, seeing the feet those sounds belonged to, letting his eyes trail upwards.

The first thing he notices are glowing white eyes.
Next, a sickening shiny white grin that widens when realization hits Drake as to who's standing right in front of him.

Only one person could have such striking white eyes, the only one who caused all the suffering and misery he and his friends have gone through.

"Herobrine.." He mutters lowly, feeling a sinking sensation hit his chest.
"Hello Drake." A deep, booming voice came from the man's mouth.
The hybrid takes a step back.
Herobrine takes one step closer.

Strong tension surrounds the air around them.

With a quick turn of his heels Drake ran, completely forgetting that running was useless in this situation. When he thought he ran far enough, he looked back and still saw those white eyes.
Herobrine tsk-ed at the hybrid's foolishness, grinning wider seeing how breathless the idiotic mage is. Drake could only stand in terror as He kept walking closer to him.

"Drake, Drake, Drake. I thought you were smarter than this." Herobrine hummed amusingly. "I guess those two blondes really aren't a good influence on you."
The hybrid growled. "What the fuck do you know about them?"

He gripped his hands tightly, folding them into fists.
If that goddamned devil stepped another foot closer, he'll-

Suddenly, Drake started choking. He instantly moved his hands around his neck, trying to find what's choking him.
Herobrine had his hand up and into a fist, finding amusement in the mage's pain.

"More than you, surely." He replied, checking out his other hand's nails.
They were stained with dried blood, which gave them a perfectly gruesome coat of red.

Just the way He likes it.

"But that's not the point i'm trying to make."
He pulled Drake closer to Him, forcing the choking hybrid to stare into his eyes that flared with anger and sadistic enjoyment.
"I KNOW you don't have a plan to defeat me. Even if you had, I could crush you all in a mere second." He spoke slyly. "You may have saved your friend, brother, whatever the fuck that little brat is to you, but I'M still in the picture."

With each word He hissed, Drake could feel his head getting lighter from the lack of oxygen.
"I can't haunt you in the living realm thanks to your first failed attempt at rescuing Armen, but I make your dreams LIVING HELL."

Those same red eyes from Hell soon pop up all around them, all glaring at Drake with the same intense rage as before.
"And your new friends? Those elementals of yours? They're REAL fucking powerful people." Herobrine's grin just keeps getting more and more sadistic, gleaming with a terrifying glow. "We'll have to see how long they survive in this world! Not for long, I assume!"

"Why? Because when I get out of this limbo state you four put me through, i'm going to break those fuckers and tear them to pieces." The red eyes glow and even hotter red, seeming to feed off the energy from Herobrine's words and actions.
"I'll take them away, Drake. I'll take them ALL away! With their power, I can become stronger than ever! AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!"
Truly evil, sadistic laughther ran through the darkness.

It was all too much, and it's not just Herobrine suffocating him. He felt like his mind could explode any second. Spots started appearing in his vision.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HIM!"

A force suddenly pushes Herobrine and Drake away from each other.
Drake gasps, breathing heavily as he took in the air he lost. Through his spotted vision, the hybrid sees another figure stop in his tracks, hands balled into fists.
He swipes furiously at the darkness, and eveything turns white as the red eyes disappear.
"You better leave, demon. I'm guarding this kid, and you don't want to mess with me." The figure says lowly, pale blue eyes flaring almost as angrily as Herobrine's.

Herobrine growls, his smile faltering slightly. "Oh, well if it isn't the guardian angel."
He watches smugly as the figure strodes towards him with an uninterested look.
"Ohoho, a sassy one aren't you? Heh, and you think you can stop ME?" Herobrine starts to laugh again.

The figure stops infront of Him, sighing as he let out his anger. He raises his hand, giving Herobrine a look of warning. Drake could only watch from the ground in curiousity.

"I'm an all-powerful being of RAGE AND BLOODSHED. I KILLED YOU ONCE, AND I CAN DO IT AGA-"

Smack!

The hybrid instantly slapped a hand over his mouth to keep from giggling.

Did his guardian just fucking slap a harbringer of death and chaos?

He watches as Herobrine turns into a misty form and is wiped away from his mind. The figure walks over to Drake, kneels down, and offers a hand. He smiles at the hybrid with a warm glow.

"Hey Drake, nice to finally see you again." He starts as the mage takes his hand. The figure lifts him off the ground with ease.

"I'm Collin and i'm kind of your guardian angel."
