Princess Luna pops out of the portal and flies over the Mobotropolis, Westside Island as she looks over and smiles.

"Let's see.. Oh, we are going to need some decoration here.."

She activates her magic from her horn and conjures pumpkins into the people's yard.

"Here.."

More pumpkins are poofed in.

"Heeere!"

Pumpkins continue to appear along the yard, and down the entire street and kingdom.

"Oh- can't forget here too! Oooh, we are going to need them everywhere! This is so much fun!"

Y/N overheards the ruckus and walks out.

"Wow! Oh! Princess Luna!"

"'Amazing decorations?' I know, right? Girl, you don't have to tell me twice."

"Tell me about it! This is going to be fun! By the way, what are you doing here?"

"It's getting close to Hallow's Eve, and I'm so full of energy for it! It's my favorite year I've! I've decided to come here and conjure a ton of amazing decorations for the neighborhood Halloween party tonight!"

"Man! I gotta get ready for this!"

"Take your time, sweetie. I'm going to stay here for a while until Halloween is finished."

"I see.. well even so, the decorations look amazing!"

"Aw, thank you!" Princess Luna gushed.

"Awwww, but now I don't get to decorate anything.."

"Awwhh! Here. You can set up the table with these pumpkin spiders."

"Really? Nice! You're the best, Luna!"

"Go, knock yourself out! Now... Let's get setting up for the big party tonight!"

Today is now Halloween Night as everyone are outside in their costumes. Sonic and Y/N walk out of their own house as they met each other and let out a howl as they're dressed up as werehog. Not literally. Kirby came along dressing up as Pikachu.

"Don't we look awesome, sis!" Sonic grinned.

"Yep! We do! I kinda expect that we'll both be werehog."

"No kidding. We just need to wait for the others to show up. Hey, Kirby. Aren't you so Pika!"

"Pooteetah, pooteetah (Pika pika!)" Kirby giggled, intimidating Pikachu.

Y/N gushed at how cute her friend is and her ears twitched and turned around.

"Oh! Hey Tails! Awesome! Don't you look cute?"

Tails came over with a cute costume as he held two Chao buckets.

"T-Thanks. I did my best. You look nice!"

"Thanks. Me and my bro thought the same thing since the whole Dark Gaia thing."

"I think it's creative of you guys."

"Thanks, bro." Sonic smiled, ruffling his head.

Meanwhile, Espio, Silver, and Shadow approach Mighty and Ray.

"Oh, there you guys are!" Mighty said.

"We've been waiting for you guys!" Ray said.

"Sorry, I was busy dealing with Charmy since he loves trick or treating and got to have Amy and Gemerl keep an eye on him with Cream and Cheese while Vector is with Vanilla baking stuff." Espio explained.

"I see."

"Wow. I didn't expect you to come here, Shadow."

"I thought I'd take some break which Rouge has been begging me to go. But also here for Y/N since she invited us."

"Man, this party is awesome! Whoever did this really went all out for this one." Silver said, looking around in awe.

"I know, right?!" Ray grinned.

"Looks like the babies and kids are having fun." Espio smiled.

Mighty made an awkward laugh.

"M-Maybe we should stay away from babies for a while.."

"Then you guys better not look behind you.." Shadow said.

"Hmm? Why?"

The four turn around to see a group of Mobian toddlers and they began to run around screaming. Shadow smirked in satisfaction and walked off.

"Let's see.. Apples are being bobbed for, musical chairs are going spooktacularly.. This party is going great so far..!" Luna said, sitting on top of the roof.

As Luna watches everybody celebrate, she didn't notice those Hooligans are dressed up in their costumes as they're up to do something no good and mischievous. Though Espio noticed them and had a suspicion. He frowned to see them scaring off the children while some began to cry as the parents glare at them and walk away with their children to comfort them. They even secretly steal some candies without them knowing. He did not like this and then approached the Hooligans.

"Hey."

The Hooligans turned to him.

"I don't know why you guys are here, but you all better back off. This is supposed to be a fun tradition."

"We are having fun... yet." Nack smirked.

"You should also leave those kids alone."

"But it wouldn't be fun." Bean snickered.

Bark smirked with his arms crossed.

Mighty approaches them with Ray.

"Oh hey Espio, I-! ..Uh.. Is everything okay?"

Espio pointed at the Hooligans.

"These gentlemen was just leaving."

"The Hooligans!" Mighty growled to see them.

"Well I'm sorry, but I'm afraid we're not in the mood to leave." Nack stated.

"Oh? Then what will it take to get you to go?" Espio asked.

"Hmm.. How about a little wager?"

"Name it." Mighty said.

"Let's have a scaring contest. We'll pick a random party-goer here and whoever can scare them into screaming the loudest wins."

"What?!" Mighty exclaimed.

"That's terrible!" Ray gasped.

"That's my offer. Take it or leave it- We'll enjoy ourselves either way." Nack said smugly.

"Fine!" Espio scoffed.

"YAY!" Bean cheered.

"Great. This is going to be fun. Now, let's see.." Nack clicked his tongue, thinking.. "How about.."

He looks around and saw something that made him smirk even more and they didn't like it one bit. Nack points to Tails, who's blushing at Y/N's compliment.

"That little fox, right there."

Mighty and Ray's eyes widened in shock and before they could protest, Espio spoke up.

"We'll do it."

"Perfect. We have an hour to make this happen. Good luck."

Hooligans then left. Mighty grabbed Espio's shoulder to make him turn to him.

"Why did you agree to this? You know how sensitive Tails is. Plus, he's our friend."

"I know. As much as I regret this, we have to. We know him like the back of our hand. We can get him to get super spooked. Plus, we all know his phobia."

"Lightning... yeah. But what will we do if he gets mad at us? Or worse... Y/N..."

They all shivered at her name as they imagined her scary face full of anger.

"Yeah... She's very protective." Ray said.

"We'll tell them, 'It's just a prank, bro!'" Silver suggested.

"Silver, you're a genius!"

"What are we waiting for? Let's get to it." Espio said.

Back to the gang, Tails sneezes.

"Bless you." Y/N said.

"Thanks."

Knuckles approaches in his mummy costume.

"There you guys are."

"Knuckles!" Y/N gasped. "You wore the costume I got you!"

"Yes, I did. I really had no other choice.. I wasn't going to come to this thing."

Shadow approached them with a chuckle.

"Sucks to be you."

"Sup, Faker." Sonic smirked.

"Nice vampire outfit, Shadow." Y/N smiled to see him.

"Thanks. I see you and your brother went with the werehog."

"It was an easy one for us to pull off."

"Well, you pull it off well. ..You know, I shouldn't be standing near you. Vampire and werewolves have a for-bitten love."

"What does that mean!?" Sonic exclaimed.

Y/N, Kirby, and Tails began to laugh.

"Nice pun!"

Shadow smirked, happy to see Y/N smiling.

"Just wanted to make a come-bat-"

"Okay, we get it. Stop." Knuckles deadpanned.

Y/N, Kirby, and Tails continue laughing until Nack appears behind Tails. Tails turned and yelped to see him.

"Boo!" Nack cackled and ran off with his Hooligans.

"Hey!" Y/N growled, glaring at them.

"What in the world was that about?" Sonic raised his eyebrow.

Sally, Bunnie, and Antoine approaches them.

"Beats me. It was kinda rude to scare him like that." Sally said, who's dressed up as Red Riding Hood.

"Hey, Sal! Don't you look beautiful?" Sonic said, wrapping his arm around her.

"Thank you."

"You all look nice, sugah." Bunnie said, who's dressed up as Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.

"Not as nice as mine." Antoine joked, who's dressed up as Jack Skellington. "Though, I agree with Princess that it was kinda rude. Whatz going on?"

"Probably some hooligan who just wanted to scare Tails. It is a Halloween party after all.." Knuckles guessed.

"Still. Rude.." Y/N grumbled.

"It's okay..! Besides, I didn't.. scare that easily." Tails stuttered, still shaken up.

"Riiiiighht..." Knuckles raised his eyebrow.

"..Come on! Let's go participate in the activities." Tails suggested.

"By the way, where's Cream, Cheese, and Amy?" Sonic asked.

"They went trick or treating along with Gemerl. Nicole and Rotor are handing out candies for children." Bunnie said.

"I see."

"Let's go." Sally said as they walk through the street.

Back to the boys

"Looks like the Hooligans got the jump on us.. Come on guys, we gotta scare her!" Espio said.

"Right!" Ray nodded in determination.

Somebody's Watching Me starts playing over a montage of Espio, Silver, Mighty, and the Hooligans scaring Tails time and time again.

"W-Why is everyone trying to scare me?" Tails panted through panic as he backed away.

"This isn't good, Hooligans got more screams than we do!" Espio grunted in frustration, looking through the bushes.

Silver turned around and froze.

"U-Uh.. Espio..?"

"What?"

Silver, Espio, Ray, and Mighty turn to see Sonic and Sally behind them with a glare. Espio gulped, knowing they're in trouble.

"Don't hurt us..!" Ray whimpered.

"It was all Espio's idea!" Mighty quickly blamed.

"You guys better start talking." Sonic demanded.

"Why have you been trying to scare Tails all night?!" Knuckles glared.

"Pooteetah!" Kirby growled, crossing his arms.

"It's my fault." Espio sighed.

Espio explains the situation to Sonic and Sally.

"I see.. Well, why didn't just say so?" Sonic asked.

"Because we didn't want to involve anyone else or let anyone know what we were up to. Especially, Y/N."

"Well, if you want to scare Tails.. here's what you gotta do. Though, sis is not gonna like this."

"Where's Y/N?" Silver nervously asked.

"She's looking for Tails." Bunnie said.

Espio approaches Tails, who's about to eat his cupcake.

"Tails, uh.."

"Leave me alone..!"

"Y/N wants to break the friendship with you."

Tails shrieks and starts sobbing while yelling "No!!" Nack and the Hooligans ran over in shock.

"YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" Nack exclaimed.

"Aww! No fair!" Bean pouted.

"Ha. Ha." Espio smirked.

"Fine! ..But this isn't over yet. We'll get you before the night is over."

With that, he and the Hooligans walked away. But Tails kept crying. Y/N ran over to him after hearing what happened and smacking Sonic in the face.

"Tails, Tails! No! I- i-it's not true..! It was just to scare you! I would never break my friendship with you."

Tails let out more sobbing. Y/N immediately hugged him.

"Shh.. calm down, calm down, it's okay.."

"You r-really mean it?" Tails sniffed.

"Promise. You're still my friend."

"She's right. It's okay Tails.. It was just a prank, bro!" Espio said.

Boy, that came out wrong as Y/N glare daggers at the boys who scared Tails and growled in anger and began to charge them. Mighty, Espio, Ray, and Silver ran away while they plead with Y/N to calm down, screaming for their lives.
