At Sonic's living room, Sonic and Tails were reading comics when they noticed Knuckles walking past by.

"Yo, Knux. What are you up to?"

"Oh, nothing. Just going to...um... head to the room and turn in for the night." Knuckles said, lying through his smile.

"What? It's 3 p.m." Tails pointed out, looking confused.

"Yeah, I'm just, uh... not feeling too well today. Got a bad cold from the snow coming from the open window and everything."

He began to fake cough.

"So I'll be turning in for the night. Night, guys."

Knuckles quickly head into the room with something in his hand.

"But... his window was closed before he went to sleep." Tails said, still looking confused.

"Tails. He had the mail in his hand." Sonic said.

Suspicious of his odd behavior, Sonic and Tails go barging down the door for some answers.

"Knuckles! What are you hiding?!" Sonic demanded.

Knuckles turned to them in surprise.

"Did you seriously broke down your door?!"

Tails swiftly took the mail from him while he was distracted from shockness.

"What's this?"

"Hey! That letter is for me!"

"It's addressed to all of us. It's from Y/N."

Tails began to read the letter.

"Dear, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles,

You are invited to a party Sally, Amy, Bunnie, Kirby, and I are hosting in my place. It's a special party that is going to be outside of my treehouse, but since it's in season we're doubling it as a pre-holiday party too. No gifts are required to come. Feel free to bring a plus-one.

Y/N the Hedgehog"

"You sneak! You were going to keep this from us!" Tails glared.

"How could you?! You know I want to go to my sis' party since she's so good at it!" Sonic whined.

"No, I just wanted to read it first to find out what it was about. It could have been a love letter to me from her." Knuckles calmly stated, slightly blushing.

"Dream on!" Sonic scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"Yeah!" Tails huffed.

"Speaking of love, tonight might be the night I get that kiss from her."

"What?!!" Sonic and Tails exclaimed in shock.

"It's a holiday themed party. There's bound to be mistletoe there."

"That's right. I totally forgot about the mistletoe. This is perfect! This is my chance!" Tails declared confidentially.

"Oh, boy..." Sonic sighed, knowing where this is going since he knows almost all the guys liked his sister as he's not surprised by that. "If there is a mistletoe, I wouldn't mind kissing Sal there..."

Knuckles chuckled at Tails' declaration, which the fox immediately noticed.

"What are you chuckling at?"

"Remember what I said a few days ago about keeping your cool? You are destined to blow it. I'm just going to sit on the sidelines, watch the whole thing go downhill, and swoop in when the time is right. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take a shower to get ready for the party."

Knuckles then head off to the bathroom.

"Sonic! You've got to help me! I need to get a kiss from her! Not on the cheek, but on the lips!" Tails pleaded, shaking Sonic.

"Calm down, little bro. I've got you. There's no way am I going to let that echidna go near her or the mistletoe."

"Yeah! We can't let him win! I'm going to get ready." Tails said.

"Hold on. Say, you wanna flush all the toilets in the house while he's in the shower?" Sonic chuckled mischievously.

"Yeah." Tails chuckled back, liking the idea.

As a retaliation, the two flush the toilet and Knuckles receives a cold drizzle while he's in the middle of singing "Deck The Halls."

"What the?! Ahh!! Cold!! Sonic! Tails! That's it! What? Wait! Did you guys steal my towel?! I hate you both!!"

Meanwhile, at Y/N's treehouse, Y/N is in hyteria as the party is nearing in as she's busy with cooking in the kitchen with Amy.

"Sally, can you please help us prepare for this party?"

"This is your party Y/N, not mine. Plus, I'm kinda busy helping Bunnie and Antoine, who decided to come and help with the party outside with big table, tents, etc."

"I know, but maybe just a little. Look, Amy is getting into the holiday spirit. And helping make desserts for the party."

Y/N gestured to Amy, who's going all out with her baking skills thanks to Vanilla's teaching.

"I know and Amy's good with baking. That doesn't count." Sally pointed out.

"Aren't you good at cooking too?"

"Only a little. I'm more of a helper, not a cooker."

"Wouldn't you do that to impress Sonic?"

"T-That doesn't count. I gotta go. I hear Bunnie needs help."

"Alright..." Y/N sighed in defeat.

She and Amy went back to do what they're doing to make sure the foods and desserts are great. Amy glances over her shoulder to make sure Sally is gone before looking at Y/N.

"Hey, um... Y/N?"

Y/N stopped from what she was doing with the turkey and turned to her, seeing the worried look on her face.

"Yeah? What is it, Amy? Is there something wrong?"

"Kinda... Sally is kinda mad at me... while she was putting away the decorations I went to her guest room you set up for her to put away her laundry and... found something I shouldn't have..."

Y/N's eyes widened in shock and spoke to her slowly.

"...Was it the BTS poster?"

Amy jumped in surprise.

"So you know about it too?! Whew! That's a relief! Sally said she'd expose my embarrassing secret if I told anyone else... do you really think she's holding the poster for a friend?"

"Pffft, not at all. I know her. She told me about it."

"Ehehehehe! Didn't think so! I understand she's not into girly stuff so I suppose it takes time to talk about something she likes."

"Yeah! I told she doesn't have to worry or get embarrassed over the things she likes, even if others judge her. She should just always be proud."

"Exactly! Now are we going to finish up the food placement or what?"

"Right. Let's get started. We have... 20 minutes until the guess arrived?!" Y/N exclaimed, looking at the clock. "Come on, Ames! We really gotta get to work. Salt and pepper these... and a bit of these."

Their preparation comes to an end, the party begins. Y/N looks at the party tent, feeling proud as the party looks so amazing.

Vanilla, Cream, Cheese, and Choco have arrived, seeing the wonderful tent and heading inside to explore.

"Hey! We here on time?"

Y/N joyfully turns to see Vector, Charmy, Kneecaps, and Espio arrived.

"Hi, guys!"

"Thank for you inviting us. I have almost forgotten what Christmas is like." Vector greeted.

"Duh, that's why I invited you, so we can all spend time one another."

"Are there any sweets?" Charmy asked cutely.

"Charmy, you can have sweets after dinner, may I remind you." Espio scolded.

"Don't worry. There's plenty enough for everyone. Go over there where you all can eat. Then, we're going all watch a movie together."

"What kind of movie are we watching?" Kneecaps asked curiously.

"You're gonna love it. Trust me."

"Hehe. Alright."

Vector and the gang head over to the big tent. A few more guests came as Rotor, Nicole, Big, Froggy, Ben Muttski, and even Uncle Chuck, who greeted her warmly as he told her her parents will come soon. Sally greeted her members of Freedom Fighters as they chat. Y/N sighed in bliss when she heard footsteps. She turned and was shocked to see who it is. It was Razor, Chopper, Coral, Pearly, and Princess Undina.

"Whoa! Razor?! Coral?! Wow! I didn't think you guys would come!"

"Well, we figured we should get out of the ocean for a while and explore around the world. Good thing your friend gave us some invention to keep us from freezing and drying without water." Razor explained with a smile.

"Bah!" Chopper said.

"Wow! Your party looks festive! Is that a word? Oh, I love that word!" Undina giggled.

"It would be rude to not come while we get a chance to get out of a surface for once." Coral added.

"Ohh!!" Pearly awed at the falling snow.

"Well, go ahead. Enjoy the party."

"Thank you, kind Y/N." Coral smiled before they head towards the big tent with fireplace.

"Whew! Greeting everyone can be so tiring... And we're just getting started. I need a drink of water or something."

Exhausted, Y/N heads over to the table where the drinks are and took a cup of water and sipped.

"Ha! That was refreshing. Oh! Hey, Knuckles!"

She saw Knuckles standing over her with an embarrassed blush on his cheeks.

"Hey, Y/N. Nice party you've got."

"Yeah. I just thought it would be a good thing to do some outdoors."

"Heh. Hey, um... would you... would you..."

"Hm? What is it?"

Knuckles tried to say something as he opened his mouth, but he kept closing them and then sighed in frustration.

"Never mind. Say, is that a mistletoe?"

"Oh... That... I was hoping no one would notice, but everyone surely did."

Y/N gestured to the mistletoe that's hanging over the ceiling of the tent that's not too high as Vector and Vanilla were below it and gave each other a kiss, making Cream squeal in happiness with Espio clapping softly.

"Right... I'm gonna go eat. Thanks for inviting us."

"Sure thing."

Y/N checks on the other guests and noticed her parents are here as well as everyone else she knows like Babylon Rogues, Mighty, Ray, & Moss, Silver & Blaze, Lupe & the Wolf Pack, etc. Y/N kept on checking until she realized someone was missing. She decided to head up her treehouse as she walks upstairs. Y/N looked around and noticed the door of the guest room is opened. Eyes widened, she rushes over to find Sonic and Tails in Sally's guest room as they had discover her BTS poster and pastes a photo of Sonic on one of the boys' head.

"What are you guys doing here?! Ah! What did you do to the poster?! Oh, my Chaos!!" Y/N shrieked, scaring Sonic and Tails.

"Ah! Sis! What a surprise!"

"Did you realize what you have done?! That's Sally's poster and she's gonna kill you guys if she finds out!"

"Sonic did it! He was just jealous!" Tails tattletaled.

"I-It's just a prank, bro!"

"A prank! Likely story! Sally will surely get you, bro! You don't know what she'll do. We need to fix this before she sees it! Oh, geez..."

"F-Follow me. I can show you how we can fix this." Tails suggested, secretly winking at Sonic, who nodded.

"Really? I mean, Tails if you're serious. You're a lifesaver. Sonic, you stay here and fix that poster before coming into the party. You don't want you chili dogs to be... gone, right?"

Sonic's eyes widened and immediately went to work.

"Yes, ma'am! Save some for me!"

"Good!"

Tails made her follow him out of the treehouse, down the stairs, to the party. Knuckles was sitting near the fire when he noticed Tails and Y/N. Curious, he looks over and realizes what Tails was going to do. He stood up and rushed over.

"I swear if you tricked me Tails, I will not let you have any of those candy canes you love."

"Trust me."

"Where are we going exactly?"

As the tension hits a climax, Amy noticed what those boys were and is angered by Tails' and Knuckles' sneaky temptation. She growls and grabs the boys by the ears and corners the two by the nearby tree to stop their actions.

"H-Hey, Amy! What are you doing?" Tails questioned.

"I know exactly what you boys are up to and if you ruin my shipping then you'll be-"

"Hold it right there!"

They turned to see it was Bunnie, who noticed the scene.

"Huh?" Amy questioned.

"You dare interrupt Tails from kissing his one true love?!" Bunnie said, shocking Antoine.

"Excuse me?!"

"It's obvious Tails should be under that mistletoe."

"But he's just a kid!" Amy pointed out.

"Hey!"

"Seriously? You are wrong!"

Coral steps in.

"It should be Razor! He's more suitable to kiss her and he's better than the rest of the boys."

"C-Coral!!" Razor scolded, feeling embarrassed.

Nicole and Sally comes in between them.

"Hey, back off!" Nicole scolded.

"Finally someone with some sanity." Sally sighed in relief.

"Now you ladies are acting like absolute immature brats."

"Thank you."

"It's Espio who should be under that mistletoe with Y/N."

This shocked Sally and Espio, whose face turned red.

"Ohh, this is getting good." Vector smirked, taking a sip of the egg nog.

"Remind me to never make you mad..." Silver gulped, nervously watching this argument.

"Good thing I'm not part of this." Blaze sighed, shaking her head.

"Should we stop them?" King Maximilian asked worriedly.

"Nah, let the girls fight. This is the problem they should face." Bernadette said.

"Girls can be girls..." Jules sighed, making Chuck hum in agreement.

"What?! Nicole!" Sally exclaimed.

"Sorry, Sally. I just want to fight because I'm bored. Espio and Y/N make the cutest couple."

"He can't even surpass her in the sparring! He always loses against her." Bunnie pointed, hurting Espio's pride.

"But she always praise him for the good fight. They're both good fighters and are definitely a ninja duo. It's cute."

"You're both wrong! Shadow and Y/N are so OTP." Amy said.

"I thought you didn't like Shadow."

"A little, but some cold people get soft spot on someone they like and it's just like a good girl and a bad boy love story!"

"You guys want to go?!" Nicole glared.

"Bring it!" Amy nodded, putting her fists up.

"I've been waiting for this!" Bunnie smirked, punching her metal fists.

Just as the girls were about to begin their fight, they were stopped by a quiet laugh.

"Oh, you! You're such a cute kisser."

"WHAT?!!"

They turned and were shocked. Y/N is revealed to be under the mistletoe with Kirby as he gives her a kiss on a cheek as she was holding him up near her face.

"Oh, Kirby! You better save that kiss for your future girlfriend one day!"

Y/N then kiss him back on the cheek.

"Pooteetah." Kirby blushed affectionately.

"Aww!!" Amy cooed, eyes sparkled.

"Now that's an adorable ship." Sally smiled.

"It's beautiful!" Bunnie gasped in delight.

"Okay, it's cute." Nicole admitted.

"Oohhh!" Coral squealed.

"The little alien. Of course." Knuckles sighed, smiling a little at the scene.

"I guess." Tails shrugged.
