Sally, Bunnie, and Amy enthusiastically are standing by Y/N's bed with Kirby right beside them.

"Y/N! Wake up!"

"Ugh... Just five more minutes." Y/N groaned in her sleep.

Ecstatic and possible annoyed from waiting, Amy urges Y/N to rise.

"Nope!"

She then promptly destroys her bed.

"What the?! Amy, why did you do that?!"

"Because it's Christmas decorating day!" Bunnie exclaimed.

"Pooteetah!" Kirby nodded excitedly.

"You heard her, now come on!" Sally said.

Immediately, Y/N got out of her bed.

"Christmas decoration?! Awesome!"

"That's right, Sugah! Let's go get 'em! I know where to find those decorations!"

"Yeah!"

The girls then hustle down to the basement to retrieve some decoration. Before that, Y/N quickly fixes her bed Amy broke with a help of her power and then catches up to them with Kirby, who waited for her.

"Oh, I'm so excited to decorate!" she squealed.

At the basement, Y/N finds Sally and Amy arguing over the theme of their decoration with Bunnie trying to calm them down, but it's no sse.

"Well, Amy I think the blue ornaments are cuter."

"Huh?" Y/N questioned.

"Pooteetah?" Kirby tilted his head.

"What?! You're crazy! I think a good combination of red and green is more festive! Plus, with a hint of pink that's brighter than ever!"

"Girls, girls, I think both of color themes are great, but we have to agree with this." Bunnie said.

Sally and Amy didn't listen to her.

"Yeah, but that's so predictable! Blue is a great color! It symbolizes ice!... And Sonic..." Sally said, muttering his name quietly, blushing a little.

"Ice? Tch! That means someone who's cold-hearted like Eggman!" Amy scoffed.

"At least, I don't look like your color pink vomited on me!"

"What did you say?!"

As the two exchange insults, Y/N comes in between them and stops the dispute.

"Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies, what happened? You two were so friendly and excited! Plus, it's Christmas spirit, it makes everyone happy, right?"

Sally and Amy look at each other and said nothing, but grumble or huff. Bunnie and Kirby look on nervously.

"Look, look, we can all add some of our own flair to the treehouse and make it all ours. Now come on, what do you say??"

"F-Fine..." Sally sighed in defeat.

"I guess ice is beautiful." Amy grumbled.

"R-Really?"

"Yeah..."

Sally and Amy then give each other a hug.

"Phew." Bunnie sighed in relief.

"Great! That's a spirit!" Y/N smiled. "Let's go ahead and pick up some of the decorations."

"Sure. Let's keep searching."

After grabbing some ornaments they thought would be good, they head back up to decorate the inside of Y/N's treehouse. Y/N begins decorating in the dining room, Amy fixes up the kitchen, Sally decorates parts of the living room, and Bunnie and Kirby goes out to buy a perfect Christmas tree. After finishing their decorating inside, Bunnie and Kirby came back with a tree. Thrilled, they went all out on the tree before letting Kirby doing the honor of placing a star on top of the tree. Once they're finished, the girls and Kirby head outside, not before putting on their Christmas themed sweater, to beautify Y/N's treehouse.

"Alright, it's agreed. Amy and Bunnie are going to do up here since Bunnie can fly you up to help you decorate the top. And Sally, you're going to do the lights up there. Me and Kirby will do the lights on the bark where the stairs are. You all got it?"

Sally, Amy, and Bunnie nodded.

"Okay, let's get started!"

Decorating outside wasn't easy, but they did their best with their work. While working, Y/N looks over at the snowman and smirks. She comes over to it and calls out for Sally.

"Hey, Sally. Can I tell you something, Sally?"

She didn't hear a reply and notice Sally is too busy to hear her as she was so focused on fixing the lights.

"Sally? Sally! Sally!! Look over here!"

Sally finally snapped and turned her head to glare at her.

"What?!"

This made Y/N giggle at the look on her face, calming down before facing her.

"My snowman looks better than yours."

This made Sally twitch in annoyance as Y/N giggle hysterically, looking at her snowman.

"This is so much better. Maybe I could put something more special or maybe..."

What she didn't notice is that Sally grab a pile of snow from the ground and made it into a snowball before throwing it right at her head.

"Ahh!! Sally!! Grr!"

Now Sally is giggling, proud of her work. Meanwhile, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are decorating Sonic's house as well. The house is not too far to see a treehouse across. Sonic noticed something bright ahead and jogged over. Once seeing the decoration, he began to laugh.

"Seriously, sis?! You call that hanging lights?"

This made the girls stop as Y/N slowly turn to her brother.

"What did you say?"

"Don't take it personally, Y/N, but you girls can't possibly be thinking of entering the neighborhood decoration competition, but not with those tacky decorations! Hahaha!" Knuckles laughed.

"Yeah, ours are better! Sonic's house is going to be a blast!" Tails stuck his tongue out.

"Oh, no. Sally, Bunnie, Y/N is..." Amy gasped, seeing the look on Y/N's face.

Kirby gulped, knowing those boys just gave her a huge push.

"Did... he say 'tacky'?"

"Oh, dear..." Bunnie gulped.

"Oh, no. Oh, no. You guys cut it out before I end you! Especially you, Sonic! Just because you're my boyfriend, doesn't mean I won't go easy on you!" Sally growled.

"Cut what out? Y/N's treehouse from the neighborhood? I wish we could." Tails smirked.

"That's the kind of house that belongs on an ugly sweater." Sonic grinned.

"What they said." the voice said.

Bunnie gasped to see it was Antoine, who's walking out of the house, standing next to Sonic with a smirk.

"Sorry, hon. Nothing personal."

Bunnie's eyes flashes.

"Oh, it's on..."

"Yeah, well, your house is as lovely as Eggman's butt!" Amy mocked.

"Your face is as ugly as Eggman's butt." Sonic mocked back.

"No, your face is!"

"Your sweater is too girly for your taste and should rather wear black that matches the color of a coal." Knuckles grinned, making her gasp.

"You did not!"

"Stop it, guys!" Sally shouted.

Y/N began to chuckle evilly, her face darkening a little.

"So, you think our Christmas decorations are 'tacky'? Hehehe... Why don't you take a look at that cheap wreath you guys got on my bro's door?!"

This made Sonic gasp.

"You did not just insulted my Grandma's wreath!"

"Oh, no she didn't!" Tails oohed.

"Oh, yes, she did!" Knuckles chuckled.

"Sick burn." Antoine smirked.

"Well, your house looks like a reject gingerbread house!" Y/N insulted.

"Yours looks like Rudolph pooped on it!"

"At least, it's magical!"

"Y/N, I think you need to calm down. We can destroy them later." Sally assured her.

"I am calm! It's Christmas!"

"I think we should stay out of it." Amy suggested.

"I don't think she's going to back down, y'all." Bunnie said, shaking her head.

"Pooteetah..." Kirby sweatdropped, agreeing with her.

"Hahaha! Fine! You know what? Whoever wins a neighborhood decoration contest is obviously the better decorator. What about that?" Y/N said, laughing maniacally.

"You girls are going down!" Sonic shouted, accepting the challenge.

"Bring it, you marshmallows!" Amy shouted back.

"Oh, look! Eclipse is judging the houses down the street. Just a few more houses and he'll be here~" Sonic teased, seeing Eclipse walking through the street.

"Come on, girls! We have to get to work!" Y/N ordered.

The decorating contest began as they did their best. Time went on as they kept on decorating and decorating, picking up their paste until they were done as they stand in front of their very well decorated houses. Eclipse comes over with a clipboard as he approaches the girls first.

"Ready to feel the wrath of my judgement?" he smirked.

"Oh, shoot! I just remembered! He's gonna give us a bad score because of the whole Chao incident..." Y/N winced.

"Just play it cool. He might not even remember that." Sally assured.

Eclipse stare at Y/N for a moment before looking at the treehouse.

(This is what the decorations supposed to look like for the treehouse, it is different from the previous treehouse. Imagine anything you want.)

"I give this treehouse a 70 out of 100."

"Wait, what?!" Y/N exclaimed in shock.

Eclipse ignored her and approached at Sonic's house. He stare at them then the house.

"40 out of 100."

"What?!!" the boys exclaimed, just as shock as her.

Eclipse proceeds to leave but is stopped by Y/N.

"Well? Does that mean that we've won?"

He turns to her.

"No. That... Shadow and his Dark Team, who lives a little far, won with a score of 200 out of 100. You girls are second place than the rest of the houses. Plus, I don't want to admit that Shadow got some good taste in Christmas decorations..." he said, muttering quietly at the last part.

"Oh, come on! How could that Faker have possibly decorated that would deserve a score like that?!! How could he beat me?!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Look for yourself."

Eclipse pointed at the directions for them to look over at Shadow's house.

Those lights and decorations look beyond beautiful. It's awesome. Shadow and his Dark Team are standing in front of the decorated house as Rouge and Omega wave over to them. Shadow just gave them a blank stare with his arms crossed. The house began to play the music on its own as those lights flashes before them. Once the music was done, the two groups are left in silent.

"He is single, right Y/N?" Sally sighed dreamily at the wonderful decorated house he made.

"What?!" Sonic exclaimed in disbelief that his girlfriend is in woo at Shadow.

"Ah, those Christmas decorating skills though." Amy sighed dreamily as well.

"I found my moving buddy." Bunnie smiled.

"Huh?!" Antoine exclaimed in shock.

"Pooteetah..." Kirby gasped in awe, eyes sparkling.

"I think... I want to marry him." Y/N muttered out in bliss.

Hearing that, Shadow smirked, giving her a wink. This caused her to blush in embarrassment. Tails and Knuckles were in disbelief to hear that from her as Tails fainted from the huge defeat while Knuckles couldn't utter a word. The night ended tranquility.
