Y/N is having some meditation as she's literally on the nice clear pond in her kneeling position with her ruby glowing as the big bubbles of water are circling around her from her ruby that's making it move. She learned a thing or two from her friend Espio whenever she has problems with her sleep or her sanity or some stress as he taught her how to do it in order to relax.

Y/N is having a nice peace and quiet with no loud distraction, no Sonic, no nothing. Kirby is by her side as he's learning to meditate with her with a loud hum, making her smile through her closed eyes.

All of the sudden, something in her mind snaps. There stood a lavender and violet-furred, anthropomorphic cat with gold eyes, a small black nose and a white-furred muzzle. She has triangular ears with peach colored canals and a long tail with the end frayed and dark purple. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and sweeps slightly upwards. She has four plumes of hair with dark purple tips done up in a high ponytail with a red hair tie. She also has a red oval gem on her forehead.

For attire, Blaze wears a purple tailcoat with dark pink trim, a gold collar, and white leggings. She also wears white gloves with fuzzy cuffs and dark pink, high-heeled shoes with white stripes and fuzzy cuffs, like her gloves.

Y/N wondered how come she's seeing her as the purple cat took a step through the woods towards where her home is. Knothole. She stopped by the bushes and peeked through in curiosity as she's searching for something, but what or who? All of the sudden, a group of Swatbots appeared behind her.

"HALT! UNKNOWN SUBJECT SIGHTED."

"HE APPEARS TO BY SPYING ON KNOTHOLE VILLAGE."

"SCAN HIM."

One of them took out a scanner and scanned the cat.

"RESULTS UNKNOWN. CANNOT DETERMINE WHETHER HE IS FRIEND OR HOE."

Y/N deadpanned that they think the cat is a boy when she's obviously a girl if they at least, take a closer look.

"HE'S NOT WITHIN THE PROTECTIVE BOUNDARIES OF THE VILLAGE. TAKE HIM INTO CUSTODY-- WE CAN INTERROGATE HIM LATER."

"USE STEALTH. ATTACK WITH A STUN BOLT FIRST."

The Swatbots snuck up behind her and fired her. But she jumpe up high, dodging the stun bolt and kicked two of the Swatbots, destroying them.

"HE'S SO STRONG!"

Her hands flared up with fire as she glare at them.

"Who are you calling 'he'?"

Before she could attack them, the Swatbot snuck up behind her and punched her in the head, knocking her out.

"QUICK! RESTRAIN HIM! Er, HER."

She was then taken away and that's when Y/N opened her eyes with a gasp out of meditation. She found herself still kneeling on the water with big bubbles around as they stop spinning and fell into the water along with her with a big splash.

"Pooteetah!" Kirby jumped up in surprise and looked down at the water.

Y/N resurfaced and spitted out water.

"I gotta tell Sonic and the others. Let's go, Kirby. Meditation will be for later."

Kirby nodded as Y/N shook herself out of the water and they ran off to find Sonic. They later found him casually walking with a chilidog in hand as he happily took a bite. Y/N was about to approach him when Rotor beat her to it.

"Sonic! Ah, Y/N! Do you two have a second? There's something I think you should see."

"Sure, buddy!"

"Alright."

Y/N, Kirby, Sonic, and Rotor head to the Freedom HQ as Rotor showed them the security footage.

"This surveillance tape shows two Swatbots carrying someone away. Do you think it's someone from the village?"

Y/N's eyes widen as if she remember what happen in her meditation.

"I don't think so... Who else could have left a pile of broken Swatbots behind like that?" Sonic said, pointing at the screen.

Y/N took a closer look to see a figure of the cat being carried away.

"It's her! I saw her in my meditation and she was fighting the Swatbots off. She's in trouble."

"In any case, they're probably long gone by now. This footage was taken almost an hour ago..."

"That's all? No problemo!"

Sonic runs off.

"Sonic! Hold up!"

Y/N grabs Kirby and skates after him, leaving Rotor in the security room as they arrived at the base surrounded by Swatbots.

"Honey, I'm home!"

"Seriously, bro?" Y/N deadpanned, bringing out her giant fist whip.

"What? I live for the moment."

They then work together to smash down the robots as the parts were sent flying all over until there is none.

"Come on. Let's not waste time." Y/N urged him as they went inside the fortress.

Then, they heard someone screaming.

"A scream!" Sonic exclaimed.

The door bursted open in the flames as Y/N quickly shielded the three of them in the pink bubble shield. The cat in the flames come out and looks at Sonic and Y/N as the bubble was removed from the ruby.

"You two."

The cat looked at Y/N more and her eyes widen in recognition. Looks like she actually did saw her through her meditation. Y/N gave an awkard smile with a wave while Kirby looks at the cat with slight fear and confusion.

"Uh, hi. Do I know you?" Sonic asked.

The cat starts to blast out fire balls at Sonic as he and Y/N quickly dodged them.

"Woah! Is this how you say hello?"

He goes to punch the cat when she blocked it with her fire fists.

"Well, 'hello' back at ya, then!"

Y/N goes in between them.

"Stop! That's enough! Let's talk about this!"

"This doesn't concern you! Stay out of this!" Cat said.

"I don't think so. You're attacking my brother, and you just made another enemy."

The cat glared at her and brought out her fire fists.

"Fine. So beat it."

All three of them battle ferociously as Kirby watched on. Sonic goes to punch the cat again when the fire fists block every punch that sent her way while Y/N goes to try to punch her with her giant fist when she easily punched it away. Y/N tried again with the fist as she spins them while charging the cat and wrapped it tightly around her fists and kicks her in the stomach, pushing her back and releasing her whip.

Sonic suddenly grabbed Y/N's arm and ran down the hallway with Kirby following them. The cat is not far behind chasing after them.

"Sonic! What are you doing?"

"She's far too skilled! We need to lure her into a space where I can actually use my speed along with yours."

They quickly dodged every fire balls that were thrown and once they made it to their destination, they noticed the cat is starting to fire up around herself ready to bring out full attack. Sonic and Y/N nodded at each other and started running or skating around her in a circle.

"Ack!"

The cat's eyes widen as she started to loose control over her fire and coughed out, wheezing.

"Can't... maintain the flame... not enough... oxygen... Ack... Can't... breathe..."

"Uh... Sonic? We should stop now!" Y/N urged, her eyes widen in concern.

"Oops!"

Sonic and Y/N stopped running or skating as the cat collapsed on the ground. Kirby ran over to check on her. The cat turned to him with a surprised look as he checks her pulse before smiling at her that she's okay. Sonic offered his hand to her.

"Hey, why don't we call a temporary truce? And how about some introductions? I usually like to know who I'm fighting."

The cat gave him a look with a hum and eventually took his hand as he helped her up.

"I'm Sonic."

"Heh."

"And I'm Y/N. And this is my buddy Kirby that was checking on you."

"Pooteetah." Kirby waved.

"Blaze... You two are indeed the ones I have sought out. No question." Blaze said.

"You've been looking for me and sis? Who are you exactly?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah. And why are you here?" Y/N added.

"The one who will now hunt your dreams the way you have haunted mine! Farewell, Sonic and Y/N... Until I have need of you!"

Blaze turned to Y/N.

"I look forward to learn more about you and your abilities of meditation, the next time we meet."

"Uh... sure. Yeah."

Blaze then disappeared in a swirl of flames.

"What the--? She's gone!"

"Man, no one's going to believe this."

"Yeah. Haunt my dreams, huh? I wonder..."

"Well, whatever it is. Let's go back home."

Sonic nodded as he, Y/N, and Kirby walked out of the fortress.
