Y/N was about to close her eyes to let herself sleep after hours of crying when the light blinded her, preventing her from that. She sat up and looked up to see a ball of light floating down before her. It then transforms into something she never expected. The beautiful pink alicorn with a crystal heart cutie mark.

"Whoa... Who are you?"

"I am Princess Cadance. Ruler of the Crystal Empire. I can make other ponies fall in love with each other." she said, giggling a little.

This made Y/N blush at that last part.

"I am also here to tell you, you have unlocked your third ever power."

"R-Really?"

"Your heart is as pure as the crystals. And you have deep bond with that alien friend of yours. You have shown that no matter what, you always see goodness in other people's hearts. That's what makes you worthy and a true hero."

"That's... wow."

"I know. But you better use your powers wisely and quick. Your friend might never make it out alive."

This got her to quickly stand up as Cadance's horns glow and then in a blast, it revealed a crystal heart magic wand.

"Whoa..." Y/N gasped, taking the wand.

Cadance suddenly disappeared and appeared before Kirby, who jumped in surprise. She uses her magic to put the furniture back to where it belongs while cleaning the mess and then unlocks the door of her room. Y/N rushes out and smiles.

"Thank you so much, Princess Cadance."

"You're welcome. Now go get your friend."

Nodding, she summons her magical pegasus unicorn and flies off with Kirby coming along. Cadance smiles softly.

"We picked the right one, didn't we?"

Shouts and engine roars were heard behind as Eclipse flies over the small hill before checking how far he and the Dark Arms are. However, they were forced to scurry away once more after a series of lasers were shot in their direction. A sharp breath exhaled as he realizes how close they were to piercing their skin.

He and the Dark Arms ducks as another series of lasers were shot towards his head and it shots the nearby tree. As danger and death tries to capture the aliens, Eclipse forces himself to continue flying despite how tired his body was becoming and could feel his little friend weakening from using its powers on him. The Dark Arms were getting tired as well, but they need to keep going as they race off into the night.

Eclipse and the Dark Arms made it to the Mobotropolis where they can see the Mobians, who looks over at them with confusion. Cregal flies out of Eclipse. They panted for a moment to catch their breath when they heard a shout behind them.

"There they go!"

"Great... Just great..." he grumbled to himself.

They tried to run when a load of trucks blocks their way. They recoiled and tried to run in a different direction, only to be stopped by a pair of men, including the Dark Team pointing their armed weapons at them. They were about to run to the other side when Commander stopped them, holding the gun.

In that instant, Eclipse knew he and his Dark Arms are trapped.

As the G.U.N. soldiers crowd around them with guns drawn, a cage was thrown on the Dark Arms, causing them to whimper. Eclipse goes to save his buddies when a series of chains were thrown over his body and they loop around his legs and his neck, each of them tugging in different directions and causing him to collapse onto the ground. Shadow appears before the darkling. He glares at him as he brought out his Chaos Spear he summoned. He stalked towards the darkling with a snarl.

"This ends now, Eclipse."

With both hands, he wielded his spear over his head ready to strike the darkling. Eclipse closes his eyes in defeat. This made Shadow hesitate a little. He didn't expect him to just give up. Shaking his head, he prepared to strike the darkling when his spear is caught against a magical beam and it's destroyed.

A loud neigh was heard. It revealed Y/N. Jumping off the magical pegasus unicorn, she weilded both her heart wand and a pink shield, pointing them towards Shadow and the G.U.N. Kirby stands besides Y/N with a determined glare.

"Get back!" Y/N roared, placing herself between Shadow and Eclipse. "That's my friend!"

"Have you lost your mind?!" Shadow sneered.

"Eclipse, are you hurt?"

Y/N glanced towards her alien friend.

"I'm fine... Besides getting tied up pretty much." Eclipse groaned, joking a little.

But as Y/N was distracted, Shadow pushes her off to the side. Omega traps her with his big metal clawed hands to hold her tight. Y/N struggles to move and her body begins to brightened as smoke begins to come out. Omega quickly pulled away, feeling the extreme heat. She runs back to save Eclipse when Rouge comes in. She was about to punch her when Y/N dodges that and grabs her arm and flips her over her back, running past her to snatch her shield and her wand. Kirby attacks Rouge, seeing her about to stand up and tackles her to the ground, hugging her face.

Shadow goes to strike Eclipse again when Y/N steps in front of him and blocks his Chaos Spear with her shield. Shadow was shocked by this.

"Y/N?!"

She pushes him backwards with her shield again and then blasts her magic right by his feet, causing him to fall. Swinging her wand, she summons a blue net to trap Shadow as it holds him down.

"I am not going let you kill my friend!"

Shadow couldn't believe what just happened as he stare at her wide eyes. Y/N looks back at Eclipse and blasts the soldiers away to free him as he got out of the ropes. Eclipse ran over to the Dark Arms and unlocked the cage, freeing them.

"Come on. We have to go now."

Nodding, he and Dark Arms were about to leave when Eclipse noticed the Mobians. They're here along with Sonic and the gang, staring at him with either fear, confusion, or concern. He looks at the damages that were caused then to Y/N, who looks ready for anything. Eclipse doesn't want to hurt anyone or let the girl he has grown to care and... love to get hurt for protecting him. He knew what he needs to do. Eclipse takes a step forward towards the G.U.N., who immediately got their weapons ready, when he did something unexpected. He raises his hands up in the air.

"I surrender."

Everyone grew silent.

"What?" Shadow mumbled out in shock.

"I surrender. Take me and my Dark Arms. But leave Y/N out of this. She's just trying to help, but... she's done enough. It's me you guys want. Not her."

Y/N felt her heart break into million pieces.

"W-What? No... Eclipse, don't. If you surrender now, you'll know what they'll do."

Calmly, Eclipse turns around and walks over to her until he's face-to-face with her. He wraps his arms around her and hugs her, shocking everyone.

"I know. But I can't risk you or your friends getting hurt. There's no reason for me to stay hidden anymore."

Y/N's lips quivered as her eyes began to swell.

"Thanks for everything... and for being my friend." Eclipse said with a sad smile.

"Pooteetah?" Kirby whimpered.

Eclipse kneels down and pats his fluffy head.

"Sorry, Kirby. Goodbye."

Kirby turns to the Dark Arms, who gives him a sad smile and a wave. Before they knew it, Eclipse taken away in handcuffs towards the large truck along with the caged Dark Arms as the G.U.N. closes the door from behind. As it closes, Eclipse gives Y/N one last smile and the door fully blocks his view. The G.U.N. soldier gives the truck a knock and it drives off as the G.U.N. left. Commander stares at Y/N with a blank expression before walking off and driving away in his truck. Shadow tries to comfort the heartbroken Y/N, but she angrily wheels around and faces him.

"This is all your fault!"

She then turns to her friends with a regretful look.

"I'm sorry, everyone... The show's cancelled."

She summons her magical pegasus unicorn, hops on and flees the city, leaving Shadow to feel bad about her. Rouge and Omega also feels the same. Sonic and others, also angry with Shadow and his team, especially Geoffrey for exposing Eclipse and ruining the show they're about to rehearse, leave the city as well to head back home. Geoffrey looks at Freddy and the gang as they just gave him an either a glare, disappointment, or hatred.

"I hope you're happy." Roxy growled.

"What you did is just despicable. You care nothing but yourself." Freddy added.

"But now..." Chica started.

"We quit." Monty finished her sentence, tearing off the contract into pieces.

Freddy and his friends then left, leaving the skunk standing in disbelief and defeat. Looks like he lost everything. Good for him. Kirby blows raspberry at Geoffrey before rushing after Y/N. Meanwhile, the same hooded figure from before had watched the whole thing and frowned, shaking their head. They looked to where Y/N had gone and decided to follow her, needing to speak to her.

Meanwhile, in the truck, Eclipse glances at the small window where he can see Y/N flying away. An emotional expression spreads on Eclipse's face as he brings out the photo he still have thar given by Y/N. He closes his eyes and begins to sing.

A flashback shows Y/N dancing in the dock at twilight with Eclipse.

More flashbacks shows Eclipse, in his disguise, hanging out with Y/N and her friends, playing all the attractions, especially that laser tag. Sitting in the picnic with Cream, Cheese, and Chocola, Kirby, and Dark Arms, who're in disguise, smiling at him. And Vanilla also smiles at him kindly. He recalls those wise advice Cream has given him. But most of all, Y/N smiling at him with kindness and utmost care with no hint of lies or any bad intentions. She had treated him like a person he'd never expect.

Eclipse remembers dancing with Y/N and having fun with her friends as he began to call them his friends too. He also remembers having some little good moments with Shadow and his Dark Team. Flashbacks shows Eclipse and his friends spending time together. He then remembers again receiving the photo from Y/N.

He smiles to himself as Eclipse recalls standing besides her, watching the sunrise for the first time. She had woke him up early and took him up to her roof for him to see something cool before going into the rehearsal. He admits that it was the most incredible thing he had ever seen.
