At night, two soldiers of the Mobian Egg Army are guarding the lair when they heard a shuddering voice.

"Man, it's cold!"

They brought out their blaster and turn to see Y/N walking in with her hands rubbed together. She stopped and waved at them.

"Hey, fellas. Special G.U.N. Agent Y/N the Hedgehog here. How you livin'?"

"Put your hands where we can see them!" One of the soldier ordered.

"Whoa, okay, okay. Everybody good? I'm just gonna take this gun and I'm gonna toss it to Shadow here." Y/N said, taking out the gun.

They turned and flinched to see Shadow the Hedgehog leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"And while you're both looking at him with clear fright, trying to figure out what's going on... I'm just gonna knock you out."

"Huh?"

Y/N kicks the gun to Shadow, who caught it and then hits them both. Rouge comes in and ties them up whilst giving them a kiss on a cheek.

"Nighty night~"

"Clear, Omega?" Shadow asked as Omega flies up to them.

"ALL CLEAR."

Omega gave them thumbs up. Y/N nodded and turned on her watch.

"We're in position."

"What is your situation?" Speaker asked.

"Just getting a visual... now."

Mini-drones spy fly around Eggman Empire lair.

"10 o' clock."

The image on Y/N's watch reveal Thunderbolt as she pace around as she ordered her armies to keep working.

"Thunderbolt the Chinchilla. That angry little pipsqueak."

"There. That briefcase is your objective. Inside is Eggman's so-called new plan to take over the world. We don't know what he's up to, but we can't risk him doing something more dangerous. You must do it quick before he does."

"On our way." Y/N nodded before shutting off her watch.

"Y'know, this is fun to have you around in this mission." Rouge said with a smile.

"Maybe. But don't tell my friends about it. Don't want to get them upset." Y/N joked.

Shadow chuckled a little, feeling comfortable having her here. They all head inside as they're now undercover in a water tank in their swimming gear. Omega looked through his sensor.

"Eggman will be coming soon to receive his plan." Egg Soldier said.

"Then, get it ready! No wasting time!"

Y/N and Shadow looked at each other and nodded. Rouge brought out the exploding device as she clicked it and tossed it towards the glass.

"Omega, bring out a good music. It's about to get real." Y/N said through the snorkle with a smirk.

"YOU GOT IT."

Omega plays "Rocket Fuel" from his wrist. The tank explodes as the Dark Team makes an entrance, taking off their swimming gear then starts fighting with all the henchmen. Y/N whacked the soldier on the head with her pink shield without looking back and then split kicked both of the Egg Soldiers that tried to attack her all at once. Shadow brought out two lobsters from the ground and placed it on the soldier's shoulders, causing them to scream and faint. Omega shoots out every guns from the soldiers that tried to shoot him, causing them to run away. Rouge spin kicks them away as they knock into each other before tossing the table towards another henchmen as they went dizzy from the hard hit. Once everyone is down, the Dark Team turned to Thunderbolt, who's seething in pure rage.

"Remember me?" Y/N glared, cracking her knuckles.

"Grr!! Why won't you just give up and just die?!"

"We never give up until everything is in peace. Nobody is gonna die."

"We're gonna need that case." Shadow stated.

"OR WE WILL GIVE YOU A QUICK DEATH." Omega said, bringing out his hand gun.

Thunderbolt growled as electricity sparks up her body from her new brand circle on her head. Y/N scoffed, thinking she could have destroyed her head instead to make her forget about everything.

"Over my dead body! RAA!!"

Thunderbolt fired out electric as they quickly dodged it. She begins firing everywhere. Y/N had enough with her attitude and her pathetic attempt to win.

"Rouge. Throw me."

Rouge grabbed her arm and spun her around before throwing her towards Thunderbolt as she was too busy to see what she was doing. Y/N landed in front of her as she finally realized she's here and was about to attack when Y/N just bubbled her as the electric she was about to hit her with hit herself instead. She yelled in pain as her body moved rapidly from the shock. Y/N sighed, shaking her head. Shadow comes in and takes the briefcase and opens it to see some files and some pictures, etc.

"Mission accomplished. Let's go." he said.

Y/N nodded and unbubbled Thunderbolt as she fell unconscious.

"Well, that was easy." Rouge commented, looking at the down Egg Army.

"Any sign of Eclipse?" Shadow asked.

Omega scans around the room for a moment and turns to them, shaking his head.

"NEGATIVE."

Shadow scoffed in frustration.

"We're close. I just know it."

Y/N placed a hand on his shoulder.

"We'll find him somehow. Come on, we should head out before Eggman finds out something's wrong."

He nodded and the Dark Team left the lair as the helicopter flies down before them and they hopped on and took off into the sky.

"You sure you can't stay with us? We could hang out some more." Rouge pouted.

Right after they're back in G.U.N. lair, they found out that Eggman's trying to find some leftover Dark Gaia to recreate it and try to use it to make his empire, but there's barely anything left in this world. Plus, the G.U.N. made sure none of the Dark Gaia are here with the guide of Chip that Y/N was able to communicate telepathically. He told her there's barely anything bad happening and didn't feel any dark stuff. But that doesn't mean they can keep their guard down on Eggman and his army.

"Sorry. I promise my bro and Kirby that I'll come back after the mission." Y/N shook her head.

"AT LEAST, WE HAD FUN WITH YOU." Omega said.

"Thanks, guys."

She was just about to head out when she saw Shadow in his motorcycle.

"Mind if I give you a ride?" he asked.

"Why? So you could rub it off on my brother's face or is it just try to be romantic?" she smirked teasingly.

"Maybe both."

Y/N giggled, making him smirk.

"Alright. One ride."

She hopped onto the motorcycle behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist as he started the engine before taking off, leaving Rouge and Omega in the dust he made.

"Showoff." Rouge coughed.

The ride was nice as Y/N looked over the land that are filled with peace and harmony and could see everyone rebuilding their homes from the aftermath destruction. Shadow glanced at her and decided to do a little bit of fun. He started to speed up and drove his way to the top of the hill, which she noticed it and tightened her grip.

"Hold on."

Shadow then made his motorcycle go down from the hill with a big drop, making her let out a yell. They then landed a little roughly as they went back to driving. Shadow move past the pedestrians that quickly move out of the way until they made it down the stairs as the wheels juggled. Y/N let out a cheer, having fun with this motorcycle as they went up in the air for a second before landing safely.

"Wow! It's just like riding a snowmobile! Haha!"

"You wanna give it a try?" Shadow asked, smiling.

"Do I? Yes!"

They switched places as Y/N grab onto the handles and started the engine, going back to driving as they went rather faster than he did. The wind blew their quills as they take in the view of the city.

Outside of Y/N's treehouse, Sonic and Kirby were waiting for Y/N until they heard an engine roar. Kirby got a gut feeling as he quickly move out of the way. Sonic was confused on his behavior until it revealed Y/N and Shadow in the motorcycle as she skid it to a stop, causing the dirt to fly into Sonic's face. He coughed out in surprise.

"Whoops! Sorry, bro! Had a little too much fun in this bike! You should've seen how Shadow ride this! Isn't he amazing?"

Kirby comes in and jumps into her arms happily.

"Pooteetah!"

"Hi, Kirby! I missed you too!"

"Yeah... *cough* amazing..." Sonic coughed out, glaring at Shadow.

"Sup, Faker? You like dirt?" Shadow smirked amusingly.

"Ha ha... Very funny."

"Thanks for the ride, Shadow."

Y/N kissed him on the cheek. Shadow blushes a little while Sonic scoffs at that gesture and Kirby snickers.

"No problem. See you later."

Shadow then drove off without a word.

"What a showoff he is." Sonic glared.

"Nah, don't be jealous. You're also cool."

"Hmph. I guess. Well, I'm glad you're back home safe. I gotta go. Got a date with Sal."

"Sure. Have fun."she said before giving him a hug which he hugged back and zoomed off.

"You hungry, Kirby?" Y/N asked, smiling down at him.

Kirby nodded, panting like a dog would do. They then head towards the treehouse not knowing someone is inside.

Meanwhile, after Y/N left to go on a mission with Dark Team as well as having Sonic taking care of Kirby in his own house, a mysterious figure was walking in the shadows of the forest until the sunlight reveals him. He slightly resembles Shadow, is mostly dark gray/pale purple in coloration, with a white "muzzle", yellow teeth, has red accents along his head, arms and legs, black-colored sclerae that feature glowing amber-like gold irises and thin, serrated black pupils, a classic "devil tail" (long and slender, with a red accented arrowhead-like tip), a pair of spikes on his arms (with the bottom spike being significantly smaller than the upper spike), a single small spike on the back of his legs, three fingered hands, two-toed feet, a pair of small "quills" on the back of his shoulders and a spiked red "mantle" on top of his shoulders; he is somewhere around the size of Shadow the Hedgehog. His name is Eclipse the Darkling.

Not only that, but he's with those four strange creatures as they are a mutated sub-species of the Wisps and the Black Arms. They're the Dark Arms. He named them Blurk, Cregal, Cyzer, and Rhygenta. They look like they have been walking or flying for hours, looking tired from all the hiding and sneaking after they had crash landed in G.U.N. Shuttle to escape from Dark Team and Knuckles and Kneecaps.

"Don't worry, guys. We just need to find some place to hide and stay so we could come up with a new plan." Eclipse said, wiping off the sweat from his forehead.

Rhygenta, whose body resembles a eighth note with two thin feet on its bottom. It has black skin, a single magenta eye with a thin pupil, and a magenta-glowing mouth, squeaked and pointed at something ahead. Eclipse looked at the direction and saw a nice treehouse.

"A treehouse, huh? Good job, Rhygenta."

After making sure the coast is clear, they head towards it as they walk up the stairs to the door as they opened it to find themselves some sort of nice living room area that looked a little expensive to live in. Next to it is the kitchen. Eclipse looked around as the Dark Arms head off somewhere. His eyes landed on the button and he cautiously pressed it. The wall began to move and it revealed a secret library room.

"Huh..."

Back to Dark Arms as they smell and touch things around. Blurk saw a box and tapped it, accidentally opening it to reveal the jewels. He awed at the sight. Cregal and Cyzer saw some paintings in another room with paint cans on the floor. Cregal touched the paint that was opened and it dripped. It squeaked in alarm and flunk it towards the empty white cardboard, creating a dot. This caught their attention as they look at the paint cans then to white cardboard. They smile each other with light bulb coming up from their head. As for Rhygenta, he found a bedroom and cooed at the sight. He lied down on the bed and started to snuggle, liking the soft feeling of the mattress. Eclipse walked out with a book in his hand and noticed the Dark Arms are getting used to the treehouse.

"Don't get too comfortable. It's obviously someone else's place. Hopefully, they don't come here soon."

But he was wrong as Y/N and Kirby are heading inside after she came back from the mission. Once Y/N and Kirby are in front of the door, she opened it and head inside as Kirby came last before she closes the door. As she did, Kirby looked around and froze to see Eclipse, who froze to see them with a book in his hand. Not only that, but the Dark Arms comes out to hear a sudden noise. With a turn, Y/N looked up and gasped and backed up to see them. They stood there for a moment before she spoke.

"I don't care who you are or what you guys are, but if you don't get out of my treehouse in five seconds, I have an orange belt in Krav Maga, and I will not hesitate to use it!"

Y/N got into her fighting stance along with Kirby.

"Krav Maga? What's that supposed to--"

"1, 2, 3! Soft targets! Hiyah!!"

Y/N kicked Eclipse hard in the head, then headbutted him in the stomach, and hitting him in the eyes with her fingers. Eclipse yells out in pain, rubbing his eyes.

"My eyes! My two vulnerable eyes!"

Kirby let out a battle cry and speedily took down the Dark Arms before they get a chance to take action. Y/N karate chopped Eclipse in the neck where the pressure point is and he got knocked out instantly. Y/N and Kirby panted as they look at the aliens as they guessed since they're not from here and looked at each other, thinking what are they going to do with them.

Not too long, Y/N dragged the unconscious Eclipse, who's tied up to the chair next to the Dark Arms that are trapped in one big cage with no gaps for them to squeeze through as she made sure of that. Y/N turned off all the lights and closed the curtains and windows and left one light shine over him and the Dark Arms. She ran off to hide and make an entrance as Kirby comes up to Eclipse's shoulder. The orange alien growls and slaps him in the face. He quickly hide behind his back, but Eclipse isn't waking up. He tried again by slapping him a couple of times again. Kirby sighed and bend down and began to tickle his where his nose was supposed to be with his pointy fluffy head. Eclipse sniffed it and sneezed out, causing Kirby to fall off of his shoulder.

Eclipse snapped his head around in shock and found himself tied up and tried to move, but it wouldn't budge. He then saw Dark Arms stuck in the cage as they're awake as well, looking at him worried.

"Hey! Whoever you are, let me out this instant or I will give you quick painful death! Maybe I'll let you live!"

"Oh, really? Struggling and threatening me is pointless."

Eclipse looked around the darkness around him in confusion on who's talking. He heard a thud as they had jumped down.

"I don't know why you're here, but you're from Mobius, aren't you?"

"What?" he asked, squinting his eyes to see who they are.

With a sigh, they walked out of the dark to reveal Y/N herself, holding out her katana. Eclipse's breath hitched at the sight of the light blue hedgehog. He had never known someone would be so... beautiful. His cheeks turned pink.

"Who are you? And how did you find my treehouse?" she demanded, pointing her blade at him.

"Uh-huh..." he muttered out in daze.

"I will not ask again. Who are you and how did you find my treehouse?"

Y/N placed the blade near his neck. Eclipse shook his head and cleared his throat.

"The names Eclipse. Eclipse the Darkling."

Her eyes widened in shock. This made him smirk.

"I guess you've heard about me and my Dark Arms. I'm guessing Shadow told you, huh?"

Now this is not what she expect to see and finding out he's the enemy of the Black Arms. What is she going to do now that she caught them? Y/N stared at Eclipse for a moment and began to circle around him.

"So, Eclipse the Darkling, who else knows my location?"

"Alright, Dolly."

"It's Y/N. And don't call me that..."

"Gesundheit. Here's the thing. Me and my Dark Arms were in a situation, gallivanting through the forest. We came across your treehouse and went inside, end of story."

"You're, telling the truth? You're not here to come up with a plan to destroy Mobius like Shadow told me?"

"Yes, and well, not yet."

"Hmm..." Y/N glared at him.

Kirby come across katana blade towards Eclipse, glaring straight at him in the eyes, who flinched. He gestured Y/N to go back to have a talk for a moment not before glaring at Eclipse again with a growl. Y/N moved Kirby away from Eclipse while looking at the Dark Arms, who cowered before her. She looked at Kirby and whispered.

"I know. He's a suspicious type. I think he's telling the truth, too. He doesn't seem harmful yet! Should we tell Shadow and the others about this?"

"Pooteetah, pooteetah." Kirby said with a shrug.

"But he's part of Black Arms! Should we trust him?"

"Pooteetah."

"I know. But..."

She stopped to see Eclipse tried to move the chair for him to get out whilst the Dark Arms tried to push the cage over. Y/N sighed, thinking this through as she sees that he looks... lost, sad, angry, everything. Maybe she could change him like she changed others. Even though, he's not from Mobius, maybe he could become one of them.

"Do I have a choice?"

"Pooteetah pooteetah pooteetah." Kirby said, smiling at her as if saying "You never need to be afraid to do what's right."

Y/N sighed, knowing he's right. She turned to Eclipse and called, causing him and Dark Arms to freeze.

"Okay, Eclipse the Darkling, I'm prepared to offer you a deal."

"Deal?"

"I'm willing to hide and protect you from the Dark Team, but on one condition. You're going to learn good ways about the world without hurting anyone and maybe get to make friends like me. That is my deal."

"Tch! Really? Yeah, no can do. Unfortunately, the Dark Team, and I are not exactly, simpatico, at the moment. So I won't be taking your deal." Eclipse scoffed.

Y/N and Kirby looked at each other. Kirby punched his fist with a glare. She slowly walked over to him.

"Something brought you here, Eclipse the Darkling. Call it what you will, fate, destiny."

"A shuttle." he deadpanned.

"So I have made the decision to trust you."

"A horrible decision, really."

Dark Arms nodded in agreement, but she's not having it.

"But trust me, when I tell you this!"

Y/N pulled Eclipse by the chair towards her, pointing her blade at his face.

"You can tear this treehouse apart, limb by limb, but without my help, you will never be able to escape from us and we'll stop you no matter what."

Eclipse cleared his throat.

"Let me just get this straight. I learn to be... good and all. Teach me some ways about your world and you'll protect me and my Dark Arms?"

"I promise."

He look straight into her eyes to see if she's lying, but she's not.

"And when I promise something, I never ever break that promise. EVER!"

Kirby nodded in agreement with a hum.

"Alright, listen, I didn't want to have to want to do this, but you leave me no choice. Though, you do look cute now that I get to see you this close."

Eclipse brought out his tail that he managed to get it through the rope and wrapped it around her ankles, pulling her close. This caught her off-guard as he looked at her with a 'look' bringing out his long slithering tongue, causing her to blush. They stayed there for a moment as he gaze into her F/C eyes.

"Fine, I'll learn your ways, I guess." he said, letting her go thankfully.

Dark Arms sighed and nodded.

"Great!" Y/N smiled and began to untie him. "But don't think about giving me surprise attack. I won't hesitate to slice you into bits."

This made him scowl and was now released as he rubbed his wrists. Y/N pulled out the key and opened the door cage as the Dark Arms comes out. Kirby gave them a apologetic look for hitting them, but they just look away from him. Y/N looked around the room and noticed some paint drops on the floor and looked at the Dark Arms.

"Who made this mess?"

They pointed at Cregal and Cyzer, who gave her a sheepish, nervous look. Y/N raised her eyebrow and walked inside her painting room and saw some mess and carefully walked over. She then saw her cardboard was painted and was shocked at the work they made. The painting was Abstract Fluid 49.

"Whoa! D-Did you two paint this?"

They gave her nod as they waited for her reaction with Eclipse getting ready to defend them. But what she said next was unexpected.

"Wow! I never expected you two to be such great artists! It's very beautiful and loving how the colors are mixing all together! This looks amazing!!!"

"It is?" Eclipse questioned, looking at the painting then to Cregal and Cyzer. "You never told me you two can draw."

They gave him a shrug as if they had no idea what they're capable of, while blushing at the compliment they're receiving from Y/N. She bent over to them and gave them a pat on the head.

"You two did good. But next time, clean up your mess after you're done painting. Look forward to see more."

They gave her a small squeak with a smile and fly around her, making her giggle.

"You guys are not so bad after all."

Eclipse smiled fondly at the sight as the Dark Arms surround her. He realize this and quickly shook off his smile as his mind is still on simple target: Destroy Shadow the Hedgehog and bring down this planet into blithering. He'll do what he can to get her out of the way of his plans, but what he doesn't know is that things will take an unexpected turn of events.
