They walk inside the hotel.

"Hey. Sorry to call you so late." D/N apologized.

There stood a male green, yellow crocodile with amber eyes. He wears black headphones with antennas, small spectacles, black boots, belt, and white gloves. Y/N noticed Argyle and D/N are holding onto each other rather lovingly and smirked.

"Don't sweat it, D/N. Desperate times, desperate measures and all that jazz."

Argyle then saw King Sonic and bowed to him.

"Your majesty!"

"Relax. We've got too much going on tonight to stand on formality."

He turned to Y/N.

"Ah! Ms. Y/N! How unexpected to see you! I thought you and Mr. Knuckles went out!"

"Actually, I'm not your Y/N. I'm Y/N, but from the Prime Zone. More likely from the different universe."

"Whoa! Like time travel?"

"I guess you could say that."

"Cool! Nice to meet you, other Y/N!"

She and Argyle shook hands.

"Pleasure."

Then, Melody comes and shakes hands with Argyle who's happy to see her.

"Do you all know each other?" King Sonic asked in confusion.

"No, but I know about your parents. It's a pleasure and an honor!"

"Same here! I mean, c'mon, your dad is head of the Chaotix!"

"Yeah, about them. Tails-er- Miles and Mina have been caught by the Dark Presence." King Sonic sadly confirmed.

"Our parents and the rest of the Chaotix are peace-keeping all over Mobius." D/N added.

"Right. They're too far away to call at this point." Y/N added.

"Castle Mobius is in full lock-down. I'm sure the rest of the royal family is safe, but we're still up against a lot."

"So we're putting the Freedom Fighters back together!" Melody excitedly said.

"When D/N called ahead looking for a safe-house, I figured you might need some help. So I called a couple of friends who were in town for your big speech. You guys can make your dramatic entrance now." Argyle said.

As if on cue, two people comes in and King Sonic immediately recognized them.

"No way! I didn't know you guys were on the island!"

"Whoa! Are they-?!" Y/N gasped.

There stood is a male butter and banana yellow coyote with butter yellow hair and blue eyes. He wears a purple jacket, brown belt, blue pants, and brown boots. Next to him is a female brown rabbit with blond hair and blue eyes. She wears red tank top, blue shorts, and brown sandals. Y/N noticed they both have mechanical on one of their arms and legs, which makes them look cool.

"It's great to see you! How are Bunnie and 'Twan?" King Sonic greeted as he was being hugged by Belle D'Coolette.

"They're doin' just fine, thanks."

Jacques D'Coolette kisses D/N's hand, making Argyle turn away with his arms crossed and slight jealousy.

"Echante mademoiselle. I do not believe I've had the pleasure."

"I, er, no..."

King Sonic pulled Jacques over.

"Easy there, son. You should've come by the castle!"

"We were planning to tomorrow, but then Argyle gave us the rallying call." Belle said.

"I, well, a-heh..."

"And we're glad to have you. So our Freedom Fighters are up to four members." King Sonic said.

Jacques and Belle bowed to him.

"Of course, we are here to serve your majesty."

They then turned to Y/N.

"Ah, Ms. Y/N!"

"Please, just call me Y/N. I'm-"

"We heard. But it's an honor to meet you." Jacques said, kissing her hand.

"Charmed." Y/N giggled.

"Excuse me, but there's six! We're going to need help rescue our parents, too! Right, Skye?" Melody said, snapping her fingers with a smirk.

"R-right. Right! We're coming with you. If that's okay with you."

Y/N couldn't help but awe at how cute Skye is.

"Don't count me out! I can do more than provide a staging ground. I can pirate the Dark Presence's signal and keep you all updated!" Argyle said.

Everyone went into their dramatic pose.

"Alright then! Freedom Fighters! Let's do it to it!" King Sonic shouted in happiness and excitement.

"Yeah!!" Y/N punched her hand in excitement.

"I told you he says it!" D/N said.

"I know! I'm geeking out!" Argyle exclaimed.

Castle Mobius - Front Gates

King Sonic, Y/N, Belle, and Jacques zoomed past the Dark Presence that are guarding the front gates.

"I never get tired of the direct approach!"

"Of course you're not, other bro!"

They then made it to the giant door.

"The front gate was one thing, sire." Jacques said.

"But we'd feel awful about wrecking your front door." Belle added.

The door was opened to reveal Melody who skidded to a stop.

"Come on in! The castle's fine!"

They zoomed inside the castle.

"Nice work, Melody!" Y/N praised.

"The defensive grid is down?" King Sonic asked, giving her thumbs up.

"EEE-HEE-EEK! Skye and D/N are working on that now!"

"How are we doing, Argyle? Any word from Sally?" King Sonic asked from the comm.

"Not yet, sire, but I can confirm she's in the panic room. I'll keep paging her. Most of the Dark Presence is a mess right no. They know they're under attack, but they've got no idea who you are, how many, or where... Whoa."

"Argyle?" Y/N asked.

"I can't tell what they're yelling about, but you need to get down to the 'Catacombs.' Something big is going on down there."

"Something big?" Y/N wondered out loud.

They skid to a stop by the throne room with a statue of Maximilian Acorn holding a sword.

"One thing at a time. D/N. We're at the rendezvous point. How's the defensive grid coming?" King Sonic asked.

"Wrapping things up here- Just a second!"

"Can you see what's going on below?"

"No, that monitor was busted in the-er- scuffle."

Y/N was worried about that, but she knows D/N and Skye can do it. Then, D/N and Skye came in right after taking down the security. King Sonic called Sally.

"Hey, Sal. How are you and the kids?"

"And Silver?" Y/N added.

"We're all fine, and Silver is coming around." Queen Sally replied.

"Dad! Dad! You were awesome! Where did you find the Freedom Fighters?!" Manik called.

"Ah, the room's got monitors, doesn't it?"

"Sure does. You've been marvelous."

"We're not done yet. Listen-all I know about the catacombs is its dungeon. What else is down there?"

"Only the most dangerous threats to Mobius that had to be quarantined."

"Dad! Hey dad!"

"One sec, Manik. Like what?"

"Well, E-107 Theta, the anarchy beryl bomb, and..."

Y/N doesn't know what she means by that, but it sounds even more dangerous than Eggman. The Freedom Fighters than ran towards the catacombs.

"This is it folks-the big push. Be ready for heavy resistance from--"

They stopped to see the Dark Presence running past them with a look of fear like they saw something horrifying.

"--the Dark Presence. Huh."

"What are they running from?" Y/N questioned.

Just then, they heard a rumble above them.

"You're a veteran hero, sire. Is that a good sign?" D/N asked worriedly.

"That's never a good sign."

"Ditto."

The floor beneath them began to crack along with the castle. Water sprung out.

"Watch yourselves!" King Sonic alarmed.

Jacques carried Melody and flew up with her.

"I've got you."

"And you come with me, sire and Y/N." Belle said, grabbing them by their hand and flying up with them.

"D/N, get Skye!" Y/N shouted.

D/N immediately carried Skye and flew up.

"I-I-I can fly..."

"Let me help this time, okay?"

Once they're safe in the air, their eyes widened to see something huge and realized why the Dark Presence ran away.

"Remember how you didn't want to wreck the front door? You can stop worrying about it now."

There stood was a terrifying perfect Tikhaos Overpowered Spirit bound to a God.

"As papa might say-'Mon dieu.'" Belle said.

"Sho' nuff." Jacques agreed.

"Oh no..." D/N gasped.

"Anybody got any idea what that thing is and why it's wrecking my castle?" King Sonic asked.

"It's Tikhaos... The poor dear..."

"Tikhaos?! As in Tikal and Chaos fused together?!" Y/N exclaimed in shock.

"Exactly."

"You do not recall the Ixis Resurgence or the Elemental War?" Jacques asked.

"No. I kind of wrote myself out of the timeline when I went back to fix it. Sue me." King Sonic said.

"To summarize--The spirit Tikal had to fuse with the water God Chaos and became a very unstable being, especially when exposed to Chaos Energy. And I'm sensing a lot of Chaos Energy in her. We had her sealed away for everyone's protection. So how did she get that much Chaos Energy?" D/N explained.

"I doubt even the Dark Presence would be crazy enough to unleash her." Belle said.

"King Shadow! He must be out by now!" Y/N exclaimed.

"None of that matter right now. We've got an island-and a planet-to save."

As King Sonic and the Freedom Fighters are thinking of a plan, Y/N's mind is still on King Shadow as she can sense him here. Her eyes targeted to where Tikhaos was unleashed and figured he could be there by now.

"You guys take care of the people and stop Tikhaos! I'm going after King Shadow!"

"What?! Are you crazy?! He's dangerous! I tried to beat him, but he was far too powerful and fast!" King Sonic exclaimed, blocking her.

"I have to at least try and convince him to stop all of this pain and suffering he had brought upon you all! This may not be my planet, but it is my job to protect and save! You know me better than anyone else!"

King Sonic was hesitant before he gave her a hug.

"Go and kick King Shadow's butt for me."

"I will." Y/N hugged back and turned to D/N. "You're gonna be awesome."

D/N smiled and hugged her, surprising Y/N and eventually hugging her back. Y/N gave everyone a wink and zoomed through the broken castle towards the room where she can see the room light up green coming from King Shadow as he's inside the green bubble to protect himself, watching the chaos he's caused.

"It is done. I'm sorry, Maria. I tried to lead by example, but they did not see. I tried to lead by force, and I was rejected. I promised you I'd bring peace to the world and the world demands only anarchy--Chaos. Tikhaos will ravage the world, wash it clean, and Mobius will suffer. And only when they have learned their lesson will I return and lead them to the peace you so desperately wanted for them."

"You really think this is what Maria would want?"

He turned to see Y/N staring at him.

"You! I thought I never get to see those faces again..."

"I'm Y/N the Hedgehog. I'm from the Prime Zone, and I'm here to stop you from making things worse."

"You really think you can stop me?"

"No, but I can at least talk you about Maria. Maria want you to bring peace and protect everyone. The one way to rule it is with compassion. Not force."

"Don't tell me what's right and what's wrong! I'm doing what's right for Maria! This is what she wanted me to bring!"

"But is that entirely true?! You're doing the complete opposite! Do you really think this is peace?! Look around! Look what's happening right now!"

"Those people will be punished for it! This is for their own good!"

"Well, to me, you stole their freedom! It's time to give it back!"

King Shadow growled as he got out of his bubble.

"Don't you dare tell me what to do! You know nothing about me or Maria!"

Y/N sighed, knowing this won't work out like this. Looks like she's gonna have to force it.

"Then, you leave me no choice."

She got into her fighting stance along with King Shadow as they faced each other with a glare. Y/N begins to sing.

"This is Y/N.
Back together.
And I'm never going down at the hands of the likes of you because I'm so much better.
And every part of me is saying "Go get him!"."

Y/N and King Shadow start circling around the room. King Shadow then pulls out a Chaos Spear.

"All of us ain't gonna follow your rules.
Come at me without any of your fancy tools.
Let's go, just me and you.
Let's go, just one on two."

Y/N summons her pink shield as King Shadow charges towards her.

"Go ahead and try and hit me if you're able.
Can't you see that my relationship is stable?
I can see you hate the way we intermingle.
But I think you're just mad 'cause you're single."

Y/N gracefully dodges and blocks all of his attacks as he tries to jab her with all the Chaos Spears he throws.

"And you're not gonna stop what we made together.
We are gonna stay like this forever.
If you break us apart, we'll just come back newer.
And we'll always be twice the gem that you are."

Y/N disarms King Shadow and punches him away. She and King Shadow then summon their weapons and prepare to clash off.

"I am made, o-o-o-o-of,
Lo-o-o-o-ove.
O-o-o-o-of
Lo-o-o-o-ove.
Lo-o-o-o-ove.
Lo-o-o-o-ove."

Y/N lands a few punches on King Shadow's face with her giant fist whip she spins, but King Shadow grabs her and flails her onto the ground, sending her crashing on the floor and cracking it.

Y/N punches King Shadow up to the broken ceiling with the power of the ruby, and he quickly spin-dashes back at her, causing them to crack the floor more. Y/N is visibly buffeted by King Shadow's spin-dash, but she continues to sing.

"This is who we are.
This is who I am.
And if you think you can stop me, Then you need to think again."

King Shadow, seemingly not hurt at all, glares menacingly at the injured Y/N, kneeling on the ground.

"'Cause I am a feeling,
And I will never end,
And I won't let you hurt my planet,
And I won't let you hurt my family and friends."

Y/N slowly gets up and resummons her pink shield, ready to face off King Shadow again.

"Go ahead and try and hit me if you're able.
Can't you see that my relationship is stable?
I know you think I'm not something you're afraid of,
'Cause you think that you've seen what I'm made of."

Y/N throws a few hits with her pink shield, but King Shadow blocks all of it with his green flames and punches Y/N to the ground. She quickly recovers and slams her pink shield at King Shadow's hands then karate chops his stomach hard, shutting off his Chaos powers and physically hurting him as he held his stomach in pain.

"But I am even more than the two of them.
Everything they care about is what I am.
I am their fury.
I am their patience.
I am a conversation."

King Shadow, enraged, spin-dashes towards Y/N, who dodges out of the way. He starts spin-dashing around the room and charges at her in full force. Y/N, however, manages to catch him attack head-on as her ruby glows.

"I am made, o-o-o-o-of,
Lo-o-o-o-ove.
O-o-o-o-of,
And it's stronger than you."

She then hurls King Shadow at the wall. He was about to get up and unlock his limiters when his eyes widen to see her body glowing dark blue with sparkles surrounding her like a night sky. She had unlocked her second magic as she lets herself began to float her arms spread wide. Then, in a flash, there stood behind her is a beautiful night pegasus unicorn. Y/N finishes her last song.

"L-o-o-o-ove.
O-o-o-o-of,
L-o-o-o-ove.
And it's stronger than you."

The pegasus unicorn then raises their hoofs with a loud neigh and slams their hoof against the ground and a bright moon magic blasts towards him and knocks him out completely with a loud boom, gaining the attention of King Sonic and his family, the Future Freedom Fighters, and Silver. They ran to where the catacombs was and saw Y/N standing over to the down King Shadow.

"Other sis! You did it!!" King Sonic exclaimed, zooming towards her and hugging her.

"Whoa..." Silver awed at how much damage she brought on King Shadow.

"That was awesome other mom!!" D/N cheered, joining in the hug as Manik and Sonia joins next.

"Other auntie Y/N!!!"

"Guys, guys. I know. But there's something that needs to be done."

"What do you mean?" Queen Sally asked.

Just then, they heard a groan and turned to see King Shadow slowly waking up. They were about to fight him off when Y/N raised a hand to stop them.

"I got this."

"But-" King Sonic started.

"I'll be fine. I'm not afraid of him."

She walked over to him and kneel down to his level. When his eyes fully opened, he glared at her.

"What are you waiting for? Finish me."

"And let Maria get upset? No way. She would want you to have a life you deserve."

"Stop mentioning her!"

"No way. Not until you realize your mistakes."

"What mistakes?"

Y/N sighed, feeling frustrated. Her own Shadow from Prime Zone was much more mature than this guy right now.

"Looks like I'm going to show you so you will understand clearly."

She placed a hand on his shoulder and then the same light that happened with Scourge brighten up everyone and then her and King Shadow disappeared.

King Shadow groaned and got up when his eyes saw something he had never seen. They're in the pink palace with bubbles around the room with gemstones inside as they floated in the air.

"Where... are we?"

"The place where you'll see the whole truth like I did with Scourge. And I think this will remind you of someone you know. You know who I mean by that."

Y/N jumped up and grabbed the bubble and landed down safely before popping it up. She turned to King Shadow and showed him the blue gemstone that matches the eyes and clothes of Maria.

He stood there confused as she nodded to him to take it. King Shadow then carefully grabbed the blue gem, staring at it and then tapping it lightly. Then, the hologram of Maria popped up from the gem with a gentle smile that King Shadow always remember.

"Maria..."

Maria said something to him that's the same thing that she would say as Y/N remembers when Shadow tried to find the truth about his past before he realize his mistake and did the right thing and know who he is. Those words made King Shadow tear up as the hologram disappeared with just the blue gem in his hand. He collapsed on his knees, head low.

"I'm sorry, Maria... I've made a huge mistake and I did the opposite... I'm no hero..."

"But you can still fix all of this."

He noticed Y/N kneeling down on his level again with her hand out. King Shadow immediately shook his head.

"No! No! Don't forgive me! I don't deserve it!"

"Then, prove to me that you're worth it. Like how I already prove it to my Shadow."

He stare at her for a moment and then take her hand as she helped him up. King Shadow removed the gold crown, staring at his own reflection and then dropping it to the ground. He removed his red cape and kneeled down to Y/N, surprising her.

"You were right... I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize to me. Apologize to the people you've hurt."

King Shadow nodded and the whole room brightened up again and they faded away.

King Sonic and the others were confused on where they have gone. They even asked Silver if he knew about this, but he had absolutely no idea what was going on. Then, the light shined over to them and they see King Shadow with his head low and Y/N standing next to him as they're holding hands together.

"I'm sorry... For everything... And I... surrender. I don't expect you to forgive me, but I'll do whatever it takes to fix this mess. For Maria..."

The blue gem was still in his grasp as he held it close to him. Y/N smiled in proudness and nodded to him. King Sonic and the others were surprised by this, but King Sonic smiled knowing Y/N had did it.

"Well, I'm very glad to hear you apologize. As king, you are hereby under arrest for your crimes with Dark Presence and for bringing Tikhaos for destruction for over a month. I'll let you go only if you keep your word that you will help with all of this."

King Shadow nodded. D/N walked over to them and handcuffed King Shadow who made no move. Silver walked over to Y/N.

"You really impress me. Wish I was like you."

"Oh, Silver. You did a good job on saving others." Y/N chuckled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Silver blushes and smiles.

"I think we should all thank you, other sis. You may be from another dimension, but your bravery and kindness really helped us." King Sonic said.

"On my honor, your majesty." Y/N bowed.

King Sonic turned to the Future Freedom Fighters.

"Thanks goes to you guys as well, you came through at a moment's notice and lived up to the title of 'Freedom Fighters.'"

"Just like old time, eh?" Future Miles raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

"Yeah. Except I don't remember my back hurting like this back then."

This made Y/N chuckle as Future Miles turn to her.

"Hey, Y/N."

"Hi, Miles. You've grown."

"Yeah. I've grown to be a man just like you wanted me to be."

"I'm glad."

King Sonic turned to Silver.

"So what do you think? Crisis averted?"

"For now, yes. At least from this time period. I don't suppose you ever recall someone within your group of Freedom Fighters turning on the team?"

"No. Then again, if time traveling taught me anything, it's that rarely is anything clear. My own place in this time-line is sketchy, to be honest."

Silver and King Sonic shook hands.

"I understand. I must return to the future. I leave this present in your hands."

"We'll keep things safe, Silver."

Silver turned to Y/N.

"You coming?"

"No, I'm good. Got my own special rings that will take me back home. See you there, Silver."

He nodded and brought out the emerald.

"Chronos Control."

In a bright green flash, Silver disappeared back to his future.

"I guess this is where I take my leave. Wish I could stay, but I do need to get back home. My own home."

King Sonic hugged her, which she hugged back.

"See you in the future, other sis."

"And I'll see you as well, other bro."

They pulled away and Y/N turned to D/N.

"Be safe. Maybe someday I'll have you once I think about my relationship."

"You better. My dad is a great man you should totally marry."

Y/N blushes in embarrassment.

"Heh. I'll try."

She brought out her special warp ring and enlarged it.

"Hey."

Y/N looked back to see it was King Shadow who called.

"For what it's worth... I'm glad you came. And thank you."

Y/N smiles and nods as she looks back at everyone and then walks into the special warp ring fully, waving goodbye.
