After three weeks, it was now time for the concert as Mina and her band were about to get into the stage.

"Alright, guys! This is it! We're going to go out there, and we're going to wake them up! We're going to turn heads and change minds! Tonight, we do more than revamp our sound! Tonight, we make a difference! Are you ready?!"

"...Yeah!"

"Yeah! Yeah-Yeah-Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

"Alright, boys! Take the stage!"

The boys then head out to the stage. Mina turned to Ash with a nervous look.

"I'm gonna throw up. What if they hate it?"

"They won't. They'll love it, and they love you! Get out there, babe and blow them away."

Mina nodded and walked out, but stopped to see the boys standing there.

"Hey, guys. Why aren't you on stage?"

Ash comes in, looking confused as her. They pointed something behind them.

"You might want to take a look at this."

Odd. Mina and Ash looked to see a Mobian who's an announcer in a rather nice suit as he spoke through the microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Prepare yourselves for a special concert Mina has planned. I give you Y/N and her band, Ken, Zane, and Nova! Come over here!"

Everyone was confused at first, but they clapped and cheered to hear about their favorite hero to come and sing anyways. Mina, Ash, and her bands were even more confused as Ken and two Mobians, the wolf and bobcat comes into the stage in their nice kimono-like outfits (Just imagine what they wear). Then, there's a black hooded figure comes last as they purposely pushed Mina and Ash out of the way and headed into the stage in the middle of the group. They brought out a small stick of fire and dropped it and the fire started burning the cloak, shocking everyone as they grew concern about it.

But then it went away as the fire only burned the entire cloak to reveal Y/N in a nice kimono-like outfit like the boys are wearing with her quills tied up into a nice bun as she smiled at the crowd. Knuckles, Espio, and Tails were speechless and in awe at her new look.

This gave everyone a clap and cheer at the amazing entrance. Mina, Ash, and her band watched on as they had no idea what was going on. Y/N looked through the crowd to see Sonic and Sally waving at her, then to Cream with Cheese and Kirby, and saw the last person she was looking for, Nicole. She smiled at Nicole who was surprised that she can see her and smiled back. Y/N nodded to the Mobian DC who's behind them as he started the music and Y/N went first. They were in for a big surprise.

The translation was brought out to the big screen for everyone to see what they're singing about before going to Nova the Bobcat. Everyone was speechless.

Once the song ended, everyone cheered once again but more louder than ever as they chant her name. Y/N gave smiles to the crowd and to those people next to her who sing with her. She then sees Nicole tearing up with joy. She made Nicole feel happy again. Y/N then turned to see Mina and Ash speechless and smirked in satisfaction.

Y/N looked at Nicole again and gestured her to come over here as the spotlight brightened on Nicole as she head into the stage next to her. Surprise, surprise, they all cheered for Nicole too as they had now seen the message and began to trust her again. Now this is what real music is about. Y/N, Zane, Ken, Nova, along with Nicole bowed to them before leaving the stage.

Y/N walked past the people who are flashing cameras at her and her friends as they quickly went into the trailer.

"Whoo! That was good!" Y/N sighed in relief.

"Yeah! I thought I was going to mess it up, but I think I did good." Ken said, wiping the sweat off.

"It was amazing! I'm so glad I could sing!" Nova cheered, bouncing up and down.

"Good song. This will surely have everyone trust your friend Nicole. She seems cool." Zane said.

"That's good. It's supposed to happen. Better than Mina's stupid horror song."

"Yeah, after you telling us about that lyrics, that is a terrible thing to say to your friend." Ken frowned as the boys nodded in agreement.

On cue, the door slammed open to reveal Mina and Ash and boy, do they look unhappy. Y/N ushered them to leave and told them good job on this and that they should head home. They nodded and left the trailer while biding her goodbye. Ken looked back at Y/N with worry, seeing the tense atmosphere. She assured him with a smile. That was enough for him to leave not without telling Sonic and Sally who are searching for Y/N as they went inside as well.

"What the heck was that?!" Ash demanded, shocking Sonic and Sally.

They must have thought it was their idea to have Y/N and her friends on stage and sing and were about to congratulate them. But that was the complete opposite.

"What was what?" Y/N calmly asked.

"That song! You changed it and replaced our band!!"

"And? It's good right? Mina's music doesn't need your dark-and-gloomy, 'I'm so sad and misunderstood' baggage. It's a good thing Kirby ripped it off and trashed it."

"My--?!"

Mina calmed him down by grabbing his arm.

"No, Ash. The new direction is my idea, Y/N. It's a message that needs to be heard, especially by you. I am just upset that you destroyed the message that was supposed to give warning about Nicole."

Y/N scoffed, crossing her arms. Sonic and Sally silently watched on. What they didn't know is that Nicole was listening on to their confrontation, blending in the wall of the trailer.

"Someone with your popularity should be more careful with your 'messages.' You'll have to take full responsibility when--"

"Responsibility?!"

Mina pointed at her in pure anger.

"What about you and the Freedom Fighters?! Bunnie, Khan, and Nicole all got turned on you! And Nicole runs the city--is the city! How is that 'responsible'?! While you were half a world away... While you talked politics over there, I saw people legionized here! So don't you dare talk to me about 'responsibility!'"

SLAP!!

Everyone froze in shock. It revealed Mina with a red hand mark on her cheek who had her head turned to the side from the harsh slap. Y/N glared at her darkly as she lightly shook her hand off. They never expect her to do that.

"Don't you dare yell at me like you know everything! And for your information, Nicole was in full control while we were gone. And she kept up the act to protect as many as possible. She saw all the legionizing first-hand. And she was at your-- no-- my concert. You weren't even there when we managed to save Nicole from Iron Queen's control! You could've at least learn to trust her, but you let fear get the best of you! Fear cannot be trusted and it's making you a bad bitch as you are right now!! Some friend you are!"

Mina turned to her, shocked by her sudden action and outburst as she held her cheek in pain and started to tear up with a sniff. Y/N rolled her eyes at her patheticness and glared at Ash who flinched in fright and raised his hands up in defense. She took a deep breath and cleared her throat.

"Sonic, Sally, Nicole. We're leaving. I've already wasted my time dealing with this."

Nicole popped herself out, surprised thst she knows she was there and said nothing as she, Y/N, Sonic, and Sally left the trailer without another word. But before that as Y/N was the last one to leave and looked back at the crying Mina.

"You're not even the Freedom Fighter in the first place and not anymore. You are nothing... Nothing."

With that, she closed the door behind her.

"Man... That's harsh, sis." Sonic said, gazing at her in disbelief.

"She deserve it." Y/N waved off.

"But we respect and appreciate for you've done. Although, slapping Mina wasn't what we expected." Sally said.

"Sorry, I couldn't control myself. I was just too angry at the betrayal that has been happening already from today and yesterday."

Nicole placed a hand on Y/N's shoulder.

"But you did help us so far and preventing anything bad from happening. And I really appreciate for you did for me. That song was beautiful and I'm glad everyone is beginning to trust me."

Y/N smiled and hugged her.

"Anything for a friend. I always trust you, Nicole."

Nicole hugged back with small tears coming out. Sonic and Sally smiled at the scene.

"Well, to celebrate for Y/N's song message why don't we head to Chuck's?" Sonic suggested.

"Sure, I am a little hungry and thirsty from all that singing."

They then left the concert and head through the crowd as they all smile and said good things about Nicole. They even apologize for not trusting her and for being scared when they should know it wasn't her choice. Nicole forgave them and appreciated it. Now this is what is means to Trust Again.
