The Mobius soldiers are firing lasers at Jun Kun who's there to cause trouble to New Mobotropolis. Commander Amadeus Prower -- the military leader in charge of protecting Mobius from those who would misuse the city's ruins.

"Keep firing! The bows and arrows may have failed us, but with these, he's bound to fall!"

The lasers that are hitting Jun Kun have no affect on him as he stand there with a grin.

"A pitiful effort from pitiful being with pitiful weapons."

He broke down the stronghold they're in.

"Ha ha ha! I am the cliffs and you are the waves! You strike and break against me!"

He took down all of the soldiers and goes to the barrier that's protecting New Mobotropolis when Amadeus charged him with his sword raised.

"STOP, BLAST YOU! I will not fail Armand's memory--"

He tried to strike Jun Kun to the side, but it only ended up breaking his blade into pieces.

"No!"

Jun Kun grabbed him by the back of his shirt.

"Gnat. Speck. None can stand against the Iron King."

"I don't think so!!"

The pink shield was thrown straight towards his face, causing him to drop Amadeus. The shield flew back to reveal Y/N.

"You! Came back for more?"

"I came for a rematch!"

Jun Kun smirked, cracking his neck.

"We'll see about that."

Sonic zoomed in and checked on Amadeus.

"You okay, Commander?"

"I'll be fine. Nicely done for your sister."

"That was, wasn't it? Tails is evacuating everyone from what's left of the fort. Me and sis will handle Iron Pants."

"I'll entrust the matter to you, then."

Amadeus got up and ran towards the vehicle where the soldiers are heading into. Sonic turned to see Y/N and Jun Kun facing each other once again with determination, not wanting to lose. He's going to let her do the fight and when there's trouble, he won't hesitate to come and help her. He heard a flight sound and turned to see the vehicle flew off to New Mobotropolis.

"Sweet! Everybody's safe!"

Jun Kun charges first with his tremor mace raised which Y/N immediately ducked from it and blocked it with her shield. He goes to attack her again when Y/N smacked him both in the cheeks with her shield, pushing him away. He groaned in pain, massaging his jaws.

"You'll pay for that, rodent!"

He slammed his tremor mace on her a couple of times, but she keeps dodging it. He then finally slammed her shield, breaking it as it disappeared.

"Now you're defenseless." he chuckled.

"I'm never defenseless without being prepared."

Y/N brought out her pink hand fan and threw it towards him. Jun Kun quickly blocked it, but it caused the fan to fly back to him and gave him a scratch almost up to where his eye is. He was caught off guard from that and it gives her the opportunity and kicked him in the chest, pushing him away again. They fought back and forth.

"You got this, sis! Knock some iron out of him!"

Jun Kun kept dodging the swings from the fan that kept coming back to him after Y/N caught it and threw it back to him. When the fan came back to her, she made it disappear. He was about to strike her when she grabbed his arm and punched the pressure of his muscle, making him hold his arm in pain. He realized too late as she took the tremor mace from him and she held it like it's nothing. She slammed him with it as he hit the ground. He got up and tried to charge her with his horns when she stopped him by tripping him. Jun Kun brought his balance back up, but ended up getting hit a couple times where the pressures are on his body as Y/N kept hitting him rapidly not allowing him to breathe or move as he grunted from each impact.

Sonic oohed, wincing at how much pain Jun Kun's been having. Then with one big swing, Y/N slammed the tremor mace into his face, knocking him down completely. He's left unmoving. Sonic walked over to her, kicking Jun Kun slightly.

"Wow, sis. You really beat him real good."

Y/N purposely dropped the tremor mace on Jun Kun to give him more pain. Khan came just in time to see Jun Kun down as he floated down from the cloud.

"Woah! You beat him already?"

"All credit to Y/N. You should've seen her. She's pretty good."

"I came for a rematch just show him not to ever underestimate me and my friends."

"Wow..."

Khan was stunned and speechless.

"What are we going to do with him?"

Y/N smirked and walked over to the unconscious Jun Kun and did something the boys never expect. She made a pink bubble and trapped him in it along with his tremor mace. Y/N then tapped the bubble and it disappeared.

"Whoa! Where did you take him?"

"Back to where Iron Queen and Snively are. As a message for ever trying to invade New Mobotropolis."

"Well played, Y/N." Khan smiled, patting her shoulder.

"Thanks."

"Let's go home." Sonic smiled.

Later, Khan brought Sonic and Y/N back to New Mobotropolis with his cloud where Sally is there waiting for them.

"Mission accomplished, Sal. Where's Tails?" Sonic asked.

"He's with Amadeus. Checking on the wounded. Nicole filled me on Y/N's beat down with Iron King. Nice work, Y/N."

"Oh, stop. You should also give credit to the boys. They did their best to help out."

"But you did most of the fight." Khan and Sonic deadpanned, making her chuckle nervously.

"Sorry? For being a little overboard..."

Sally grabbed Sonic's arm.

"Come with me, Sonic. There's something I want us to talk about."

"O-Okay...?"

This left Khan flabbergasted, while Y/N just smiled amusingly. As Sonic and Sally left, she noticed Khan looks sad. Y/N frowned, knowing he still has feelings for Sally.

"Hey, Khan? Want to hear how I defeated Jun Kun over dinner? My treat?"

Khan was surprised by the offer and glanced back at the couples one more time before facing her.

"Sure. Why not?"

"Great! Let's go! I know a perfect place to go!"

Y/N immediately took his arm and dragged him off somewhere as the four each took their separate ways for a private place that almost look like they're going on a date.

Y/N and Khan are sitting in the table outside the restaurant as they're having a nice dinner while she explain about the whole thing without leaving any missing details of her fight with Jun Kun. Khan was very impressed.

"I'm honestly amazed, Y/N. You've been very much well trained. You even do ninjutsu?"

"Yep. I always like ninjas. They're so cool. That's why I want to do those kind of training if I'm ever going to be very stealth. I'm into mostly martial arts and ninjutsu and others."

"Wow. I wish I was like you."

Y/N blushed, feeling flattered.

"Oh, stop. I like who you are right now. Don't ever change."

"I won't."

What they didn't know is that behind them are Tails and Mighty are watching over them, sitting in the table with their menus up to cover their face and glaring at Khan with jealousy as he's having a date with Y/N who's smiling at him.

"Is this your first time coming here, Khan?"

"Yeah. And please, call me Ken."

"Sure. Ken."

Tails and Mighty growled at that almost tearing the menu into shreds. Y/N then sighed, staring at her cup.

"Is something wrong?"

"No... Well, yeah... Still can't stop thinking about her."

"About who?"

"Fiona..."

Ken narrowed his eyes.

"That traitor you told me about?"

"Ever since then, I've been having trust issues... And then there's Espio. I feel like I don't deserve some friendship nor belong here. I'm afraid they'll betray me too."

"No."

Y/N turned to him in surprise.

"What?"

Ken took her hand.

"You've held together a group of friends for over ten years and beaten Robotnik twice. I refuse to believe someone as strong, courageous, kind, and determine as you couldn't save a friendship that meaningful. No one would ever betray you, not even me or your family. It's their fault for betraying you if they truly care."

She was surprised to hear this and smiled.

"That's... awfully sweet words coming from a hot-tempered warrior like you. Kinda like Knuckles."

"I'm only saying what I've felt since you helped me with my anxiety and my depression."

Tails and Mighty knew it's time to stop this and got out of their seat and pretended to walk by as they saw Y/N and Ken.

"Hey, Y/N!"

This caught them off-guard and slightly jumped to see them.

"Oh! Hi, Tails, Mighty. What are you guys doing here?"

"We just happen to walk by and saw you. Were we interrupting something?" Mighty said, fake smiling.

"No, no. It's alright. Do you guys need something?"

Ken raised his eyebrow in confusion on how Tails and Mighty are acting as he caught them glaring at him for a sec before turning to Y/N with a smile.

"Actually, yeah. Knuckles would like to talk you. Something about Espio." Tails said, telling the truth actually.

This made her immediately stand up.

"Espio? He was here?"

"Yeah, it's actually important. He really wanted to let you know about something he told him about."

Y/N turned to Ken.

"Sorry, Ken, is it okay? Don't worry, I already pay for it."

"It's okay. Go ahead."

She gave him a hug before Mighty grabbed her arm and took her to the Angel Island as Tails secretly stick his tongue at Ken before they left. Ken smiled, feeling her warmth of the hug she'd given him.
