Since Bunnie's and Antoine's wedding, everyone was doing their own thing. Sonic was tuning his guitar, Vector and Mighty playing video games, Espio meditating in the corner of the room, Y/N painting her canvas with the help of Kirby who looks a little messy from all the color paints, and Ray, Charmy, and Saffron playing darts at the picture of Eggman.

"I say Eggman's gotta be planning something huge! He's never been one to stay quiet for this long." Knuckles said.

Y/N stopped painting and remembered that he's got a point. Eggman hasn't been out to attack them since Tommy sacrificed himself.

"You've got a point there, Knuckles." Y/N agreed.

"He's probably just taking some time off, Knuckles. Even villains need a vacation once in a while."

"I don't think villains need a rest. They never until their enemy is gone forever." Y/N pointed out. "I am having a bad feeling that something is going to happen. If only I have a vision to show me that."

Rouge walked into the room as Y/N forgot she was here. Rouge move over to Y/N and wrapped herself around her arm.

"Relax, Y/N. If it makes you feel better, you and I can go out into Eggman's base and snoop around."

"Really? You'd do that, Rouge?"

"Sure she'll do anything." Knuckles rolled his eyes.

"Watch it, Knucklehead."

"You watch it, batty!"

"Whoo boy." Sonic sighed.

"I guess it's a good sign that we can afford a little banter lately." Sally said, walking in and kissed Sonic.

"Things have never been better, Sally. Knothole is a booming little city. We've got a sweet little home-away-from-home here in Freedom HQ."

"Families are reuniting after so much time apart. The monarchy is young and strong, while the villains are on the decline. We've already got some of the worst locked away safely. At this rate, we'll topple Eggman's Empire in no time." Sally said.

"We're just shy of perfect. If only Tails..."

"What about Tails?"

"I think he's still feeling guilty about not telling us about Fiona. As for Y/N, she's been fine lately, but I can still she's a little hurt from Fiona's betrayal."

Sally was about to say something when all of the sudden, the roof was ripped open by Snively who's inside the green robot as he controls it.

"Knock-knock, my friends."

Before they knew it, he started blasting Rotor, Rouge who quickly pushed Y/N away, Julie-Su, and Vector as they disappear from the laser.

"Guys!!" Y/N shouted.

"Just like fish in a barrel!"

"Snively just vaporized...!" Sonic exclaimed, throwing away his guitar.

"Bunnie! Get him outside and give us some room!" Sally ordered.

Bunnie flew off.

"Ah'm on it, Sally-Girl!"

Snively caught Bunnie by her robotic arm.

"Oh, I think I can handle you!"

Snively started to blast more people as it vaporized Antoine, Charmy, Saffron, Ray, and Sally.

"Sonic, I want you to—"

"Liaise-Elle, monstre!"

"Mighty, help me!"

"No!!" Y/N gasped in fear and noticed Kirby is gone. "Kirby? Kirby!!"

"Pooteetah!"

She turned to see Kirby was vaporized too as he disappeared before she could grab him.

"I suppose I shouldn't separate the newlyweds. Brace yourself, Bunnie. This burns—"

Snively was cut off by Mighty who punched him as Bunnie was already vaporized and disappeared.

"—a lot?!"

"Rargh!"

"What's going on?!" Amy exclaimed, running into the room.

"Rotor! And Sally! He blasted—!" Tails cried out.

"Let me at him!" Knuckles shouted who's being held back by Sonic.

"My friends...! Kirby..." Y/N cried.

"Everyone stay back! Mighty's lost it! And you do not want to be in the middle of that!"

"Eep!" Snively shrieked as his robot armor was being punched and torn.

"How could you do that to Ray?! He could never hurt you! I told him I'd keep him safe! And you go and vaporize him!"

Then, Mighty was vaporized after Snively blasted him.

"Fine! I don't want you to feel left out!"

Y/N couldn't believe what was happening and before she knew it, she was enraged, a deep one. Her body glowed red as the ruby powered her up and she charged straight at Snively so fast he couldn't react in time as all of his robot parts are broken into pieces. Snively was jumped out of the robot as he screamed for his life and landed on the ground roughly on his head. He got up and shrieked to see the angry Y/N. Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles were shocked at such power Y/N can wield.

"You're going to pay for this!! Where's Eggman?!"

Snively shakily pointed at the big spiky red robot Eggman was riding in. Y/N didn't hesitate to charge at Eggman who turned and screamed in fright to see her and never seen her angry before and it's making him want to pee his pants already. He quickly brought out his giant robot hand and managed to vaporize her after she dodge every blast from it as she disappeared.

"Sis!!!" Sonic screamed.

"Phew..." Eggman wiped the sweat from his forehead. "I thought I was going to die..."

Y/N found herself inside the Egg Grapes with the rest of her friends and the Mobians, except for Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. Hopefully, they'll be there.

"Y/N!" Sally gasped to see her.

"Guys!! Sally! Kirby!" Y/N exclaimed, trying to break out of the glass.

"Pooteetah..." Kirby sadly said, placing two hands on the glass.

Eggman came inside along with Snively.

"Ladies, gentlemen, and Mobians of all ages! I want to thank you all for providing me with such an entertaining resistance movement for so very long. It's made running by Global Empire so much more exciting and enjoyable. You Freedom Fighters have been the most amusing, but all the most annoying. It all worked out for us, though... You were all ready to give your lives for your cause. And I've always been willing to take them! You Chaotix knew that all along. Which is why you're all the more stupid for aiding the monarchy. Speaking of which, look how the mighty house of Acorn has fallen! You look terrible, Maximillian. And you let your experienced first born take the crown? In all my years of warring with your family. I've never come across a king as weak as you."

Elias looked away in shame.

"Don't listen to him, Elias! I married you for your strength and bravery!" his wife said.

"Hahaha! How touching!"

"Shut up, Eggman! Leave them alone! They have nothing to do with you!!" Y/N shouted in anger, punching the glass and breaking it in the process.

Snively flinched and quiver at Y/N.

"Oh, I didn't forget you, Y/N the Hedgehog. You're the most dangerous one out of all people. I'll take care of you for later. Now, then... I'm going to demonstrate You all just what these Egg Grapes can do. The process will be accelerated, but not less potent—just to make sure you're all good and terrified before the end!"

The claw reaches out towards Charmy in the Egg Grape.

"Charmy!" Saffron gasped in fear.

"I—It'll be okay, Saffron."

"No! Stop!!" Y/N shouted.

"Charmy Bee!" Eggman grinned. "Haven't I already ruined your life? Destroyed your kingdom or some such—right?"

"Yes. You have." Charmy glared. "Despite all that, I've fought for our world. No matter what you do to me, I will still fight for Mobius. And I'm not alone!"

Everyone, including Y/N smiled, cheering for him.

"Brave last words."

Y/N realized what he was going to do as Snively goes to press the button and yelled again, causing him to stop.

"Hey! You need to stop this right now or I will!!"

She punched the glass again as it created more crack with the help of the ruby necklace she's wearing.

"Oh? What are you going to do about it, Y/N? Cry??" Eggman taunted.

Now that made her angry. She started punching and punching the glass, causing Snively and Eggman to be scared.

"W-What's happening? The glass shouldn't break!"

"I-I don't know!"

With one last punch, the glass broke into pieces as Y/N broke out and landed on the controls hard as the electric sprung out and no longer working. Y/N was covered with red energy that are filled with anger as well as her body all glowing pinkish red. She turned to see Charmy okay in the Egg Grape as he gave her thumbs up. She then turned to the doctors who're sweating nervously as they back away from her. Y/N jump down from the destroyed controls and slowly walk towards them.

"Now, now, Y/N... L-Let's talk about this..."

"You're only making it worse!"

Y/N brought out her katana as she goes to strike them down when she heard a loud crash and turned to see Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles.

"Don't start the party without us, Robotnik!"

"Sonic! Guys!" Y/N gasped as the red energy was gone from her body.

"Sis! You're okay!"

"Break everyone out now!"

"On it! Amy! Knuckles!" Tails said.

Amy and Knuckles nodded and started breaking every glass that everyone was in as they're now free.

"No! You're supposed to be beaten!... Your spirit broken!" Eggman gasped.

"Show how smart you are." Sonic grinned. "You guys better run before Y/N blows up."

Y/N did by cracking her knuckles with a grin and her ruby necklace glowing. Eggman and Snively made a mad dash.

"You said you'd caught them all! You missed three!"

"Three of how many hundred?! Plus, Y/N destroyed my robot!"

"Shut up and run!"

Tails goes to the control that wasn't luckily damaged by Y/N as he remove it and plug it into the communicator.

"How does it look, Nicole?"

"Without A.D.A.M., Dr. Robotnik's system are wide open. I'll only need a minute."

"You alright, Charmy?" Saffron asked in worry.

"Don't worry. I'm fine. If it weren't for Y/N stopping them, I would've been a goner." Charmy said, smiling at Y/N.

"I'm glad you're okay."

"How'd you get out, sis?"

"I honestly don't know. It's like my emotions triggered the ruby that gave me power."

"Pooteetah!"

Kirby runs over to Y/N and jumped into her arms after she held it out to him.

"Kirby! Thank goodness you're okay!"

"Sonic! Are you alright?" Sally gasped, seeing Sonic hurt and battered as Y/N now noticed.

"Hey, Sally. I'm hangin' in there!"

"Good, because we have to move. Everyone. Let's go!"

They nodded and started running out of the lab.

"We have to go, Nicole." Tails said, unplugging the communicator.

"I've done all I can do here. I'll finish preparations back at home. I'm sorry, there's no time to explain. Stay with the group, Tails."

"If you say so. I hope your plan works..."

"This way, everybody! Right back the way we came in!" Sonic said, guiding everyone out.

"There's too many of us... Too crowded. Maybe if we put as many as we can on that saucer... The Freedom Fighters and Chaotix... and hold off any—" Sally said.

"Nope." Sonic cut her off.

"'Nope'?!" Sally questioned, raising her eyebrow.

"We've got a plan, Sal. We stick together."

"While it may usually work for you, 'run away as fast as you can' is not a plan."

"Did I say it was my plan?"

"What are you saying?" Y/N asked.

"Nicole says she's done all she can here. I guess we're ready for the next part of her plan." Tails explained.

"Nicole came up with the plan?" Sally asked.

"Way to to, Tails!" Sonic grinned.

"Everyone! Stick together!"

"Stay close!"

Everyone immediately stopped as they saw something ahead with a look of fear.

"...Oh... no... Was this part of the plan, too?"

"Believe it or not."

It's the same red robot Eggman is in right now.

"I told you the game was over, Sonic. Now get back in those Egg Grapes!"

"Everyone back! Take the first alley to the right! Move!"

Everyone tried to run away but they're vaporized as they disappeared along with Tails.

"He's using a larger spread on his teleporter beam! We'll all be recaptured in no time!" Sally exclaimed in panic voice as they ran.

"Wait for it!"

"Um... sir?" Snively called through the communicator on Eggman.

"Not now, Snively. I've already recaptured most of them, and the rest are trapped at a dead end!"

"But sir! The teleporting beam is..."

"Obviously working! Now shut up and let me savor this moment!"

Sonic, Y/N, Kirby, Sally, and the other two Mobians are at a dead end of the alley as almost everyone are gone.

"Can you spin dash through this wall? Maybe get us a way out? Or maybe use your power to help us get out?" Sally asked both Sonic and Y/N.

"Probably, but not this time." Sonic replied rather calmly, making Y/N's confused.

"What??"

"Have you lost your mind?!" Sally exclaimed in shock.

"Pooteetah?!" Kirby exclaimed in Y/N's arms.

"No, but I can't explain right now. I don't want Robotnik to overhear and spoil the surprise."

"What surprise?" Y/N asked.

"Sonic—!"

Suddenly, Sally, Y/N, and Kirby along with the two Mobians are vaporized and disappeared.

"This is a first for you, rodent! Two colossal failures in one day! Won't you put up a futile fight for old time's sake?"

"And give you the pleasure? Not likely, chubs."

"Fine, then. Join your friends in oblivion!"

"See ya on the flip side, loser." Sonic winked, giving him thumbs up before he was vaporized.

Y/N and Kirby looked around to find themselves in the Nanite City.

"What in the...?"

"She did it! She rebuilt the Lake of Rings!" Tails jumped up in joy.

"But will it still produce the magic rings, I wonder?" Merlin questioned.

"All of our homes..." Bunnie said, wrapping her arms around her husband Antoine.

"Zey have been rebuilted!"

"Heh. Just 'rebuilt,' Antoine." Rotor chuckled in amusement.

"Father! Look—!" Elias said, pointing at something ahead.

"By the Glory of the Source..." Maximillian teared up to see a brand new castle with a nice water fall.

"Castle Acorn! As it was in the days of our long-lost Mobotropolis!"

"That was what I intended, your highness."

They turned to see Nicole in her normal form instead of the glitchy form as she presented them a nice new village as the Mobians checked it out with excitement and happiness.

"This was something I've been preparing for quite a while now. Dr. Robotnik's efforts have forced me to reveal this before I was finished, but all the same... Welcome to new Mobotropolis! I will be your hostess... Nicole."

Sally hugs Nicole.

"Nicole! I didn't think you could maintain that form."

"I could not until I found something robust enough to maintain me. I built enough holographic matrixes to give me full use of the city."

"Good to have you with us— again." Sonic smiled.

"Everything is beautiful." Y/N said in awe, looking around.

"Pooteetah." Kirby nodded in agreement.

"Does the Lake of Rings really work?" Tails asked.

"How do you have the power to support a physical form?" Rotor asked.

"Is it just like old Mobotropolis?" Bunnie asked.

"What are our defenses here?" Antoine asked.

"I'll answer everything in time, I promise!" Nicole chuckled with a smile.

"You've already done a great deal for us, Nicole. And all of you, as well. Without you, none of us would've made it to see Nicole's beautiful new city."

"Do not congratulate... All of our achievements just yet, princess. It did not take Dr. Robotnik long to figure out what we did, and he has come to finish what he started."

On cue, all of the flagships are here flying towards them with Eggman in it. Y/N sighed as she figured Eggman is not giving up yet. A loud booming voice was heard and she turned to see Mogul as she had forgotten he was there.

"Hear me, o base and unbearable curs! You are assailed from within and without! Relent to my command, and you may survive!"

"Shiny!" Bean exclaimed.

"I built this city with a contingency for you, too, Mogul." Nicole deadpanned, bringing out her hand.

All the villains disappeared down below as they found themselves in the glass cell.

"You teleported Mobil in mid-rant. Nicole, you rock!" Sonic said.

"Nice!" Y/N winked.

Sally and Nicole high five each other.

"You thought of everything!"

"I am the most advanced A.I. there is."

The lasers started hitting the barrier, causing Nicole's body to glitch.

"Jeez!"

"Whoa!"

"Nicole!" Sally gasped, grabbing her shoulders as they started to disappear.

"Do not worry, Sally. I am fine—really. I just have to re-route the power that would support my holographic form to the shields. Dr. Robotnik is not holding back with his barrage."

"Oh, Nicole... It's not fair!" Sally cried. "You've given us so much—and you can't even keep your body for long."

"Only until I can spare the energy. I will always be around. I'll always be near."

Nicole then disappeared. Sally wiped her tears away. Sonic and Y/N placed a hand on Sally's shoulders.

"What now, Sal? I've filled my plan-making quota for the year."

"I trust Nicole to keep us safe for a good while. We're all to rattled from the invasion to do much right now."

"If we could do much of anything right now, anyway." Elias said, turning to everyone. "Nicole took the time to craft a city for us. Everyone should go out and find their new homes. Try to relax. Keep your loved ones close to you. And be thankful we have them again."

Elias turned to Sonic and pointed at him.

"You get some medical attention first, Sonic."

"But...!"

"That's a double-order, Mister." Sally pointed out.

"No buts, bro. You're more hurt than all of us. So go." Y/N glared. "Don't you dare disobey them."

"Jeez, triple-teamed. They're more relentless than Eggman's barrage..." Sonic mumbled, walking away to get medical attention.

Y/N was petting Kirby on the head, leaning against the tree when Sally came over to her.

"Hey, Y/N."

"Sup, Sally. You need anything?"

"Actually, I wanted to show you something. Nicole had made a surprise for you."

Y/N and Kirby looked at her in confusion and followed her as they headed to somewhere a little far away from the city as they went past the trees that's in a forest and stopped. Y/N gasped to see her treehouse fine and okay just as she had imagined it is.

"M-My treehouse! How did she—?"

"We kinda knew you've been going out lately and found out where you live. Your parents were a little unhappy that you didn't tell them. Nicole managed to protect it before the whole chaos happen."

Y/N teared up in joy and hugged Sally.

"Thank you, Sally. Tell Nicole how grateful I am too."

Sally smiled and hugged her back.

"I will. I'm glad."

Just then, another loud boom was heard and they turned as Eggman in his robot landed another punch at the barrier. Then, he tried to launch lasers, wrecking ball, and missile, but none of them aren't working.

"Come out and face me!!! You stole that city! From me! It's mine! Stop hiding behind your stupid shield and fight me! I conquered and destroyed your first city! I toyed with you as you built your little forest getaway, then burned it to the ground! I've terrorized the lot of you for all your pitiful lives! You cannot rob me of my final victory! I won't allow it! Now get out of here so I can conquer you again!"

"Wow... What a whiner baby he is." Y/N joked, causing Sally to snicker. "Looks like we've got to teach him a lesson."

Y/N then started heading to the open as she found Sonic and walked next to him with the Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix behind them as they follow. Sonic opened the door and walked out along with Y/N with Kirby on her shoulder.

"Hey, Eggman! Are you enjoying your little tantrum, or do you plan on shooting at something other than the shield?"

Eggman landed his robot in front of them.

"Oh-ho-ho! I knew you wouldn't disappoint me, rodents! But you two are a fool to face me alone!"

"Yeah, we figured as much."

Freedom Fighters and Chaotix stood around the hedgehog siblings in their battle stance.

"Which means nothing against these guys!"

"Freedom Fighters! Chaotix! Attack!" Sally ordered.

"I like this plan!"

"Same for me!"

They all charged at Eggman as Vector and Knuckles pulled one arm off.

"You should'na riled us, Dr. Eggman. On the other hand..." Bunnie said, turning her robot hand into a laser blaster. "...Ah've been savin' his for a special occasion!"

Bunnie fired laser from her arm and destroyed the robot in half. Mighty used his super strength to pull the other arm off.

"NO!!!"

"Heavy hitters are done, Sal-Gal!"

"Second line! Move in!"

Antoine, Espio, and Julie-Su charged in and started hitting the legs, weakening it. Sonic and Y/N walked forward.

"For all your smarts, Doc, you totally miscalculated us. Did you really think we'd just roll over and give up?"

Tails, Charmy, Ray, and Kirby as Y/N allowed him to make a move as they charge at Eggman. Tails, Charmy, started pulling Eggman's mustache while Ray is pulling Eggman's goggles. Kirby smacked him in the face with all four legs as he spun around, creating red marks on it.

"Did you think we are the only heroes on Mobius? We can handle just about anything you can dish out. But on the rare occasion we can't, our friends always can!"

Amy destroyed the legs of Eggman's robot with her hammer and all that's left is Eggman hovering in the air.

"Face it, Eggman. You don't have a leg to stand on." Y/N said.

"Augh! Shut up!!!" Eggman shouted.

"You said all of this was a game to you." Sonic said, kneeling down and spin dashed Eggman's last piece of the robot.

"NOOOOOOO!"

Eggman was send flying and Y/N quickly rushed in with her rocket roller skates and jumped, spinning around for a sec and kicked Eggman right in the stomach. Eggman fell to the ground, holding his belly in pain. Sonic, Y/N, and Sally stood in front of him.

"We've chosen to continue. Game on, Robuttnik."

"You're trespassing on royal grounds. As princess, I order you to—"

"Let me have a talk with him." Y/N said, stopping her.

Sonic and Sally nodded to her as Y/N walked over to Eggman who gulped loudly as she brought out her katana. She glared at him for a moment and raised her blade up and slashed him. Eggman thought she was going to kill him, but looked to see one of his mustache cut off with a small cut on the cheek. Now he's shaking as the blade stayed where it cut him.

"You're lucky that I'm letting you go, but not without a warning. If I ever see your pathetic face again, I'll cut more than just your mustache! Got it?"

Eggman nodded and a red Badnick came flying down and took him back to his fleet.

"You'll regret this, you miserable vermin! I was just toying with you before! Now it's war! I will annihilate you all! Especially you, Y/N for ruining my mustache!"

All the fleets flies away from the New Mobotropolis.

"You gotta give him credit. The man knows how to make an exit." Sonic commented.

"Yeah, but he doesn't know when to make it." Sally said.

"I wouldn't careless about it." Y/N said, sheathing her katana.

"New 'do for the occasion?"

"A little something symbolic. Just to show I've got my mind and heart back on the right track."

"Wow. I've never known you to be so girly."

Freedom Fighter and Chaotix all cheered for their victory as the certain love interests carried Y/N up in the air, making her laugh. Kirby did a little victory dance with Amy.

"Don't ruin the moment, Blue." Sally smirked.

"Alright, alright. It's good to be home, Sal." Sonic smirked back before grabbing her and kissing her.
