In the Lake of Rings, Y/N and Kirby were standing with Sonic and Amy as they watch Antoine took Bunnie's hand and got down in one knee in front of her and held out a small black box with a golden ring in it.

"Bunnie Rabbot, will you do me ze great honor of becomink my wife?"

Bunnie placed her hand on her mouth, completely shocked and happy.

"Oh, Antoine! Ah-ah-ah will!"

Antoine smiled and placed the ring on her finger and pulled her in a kiss. Y/N and Kirby jumped up in happiness.

"Yes!!"

"Pooteetah!!"

"Whoa! Go, 'Twan!" Sonic cheered.

"Ohmygosh!" Amy squealed. "Does this give you any ideas, Sonic?"

"Not a one, Amy. But it's a nice break from he drama of earlier today."

Y/N looked down a little.

"Yeah."

Sonic and Y/N went up to the now engaged couple.

"Man-o-man... We've been Freedom Fighters and friends forever. I never thought I'd see you two get hitched!"

"Congratulations, you two! I'm so proud of you!"

"You ain't the only one full of surprises, Sugar-Hog! And thank you, Y/N!"

Sonic takes Antoine's hand and shakes it.

"You really needed me, sis, and Amy to back you up on this...?"

"Some t'ings I am still not so brave on."

"How long did it take you to muster up this much courage?"

"Weeks."

Amy takes Bunnie's hands and bounces up and down full of excitement. Y/N wraps her arm around Bunnie's shoulder with a smile on her face with Kirby on Bunnie's head.

"This is so exciting! We need to get you a dress, and everyone else will dress nice, and ohmygosh, we're going to be so girl!"

"Calm down, Amy. This is just the beginning of their marriage."

"She's right, Amy. Sugar-Twan just proposed!" Bunnie chuckled.

She went back to Antoine and gave him another kiss as they grab each other's hand. Amy ran up to Sonic and took his hand, making him deadpan. Y/N wondered and who will she end up with because little did she know, there are others out there who had complete interest in her. Kirby just smile up at the engaged couple and hoped to find someone one day.

"But we will not be waiting long, non?" Antoine asked.

"Of course not! Now, where's Sally? Mah best friend needs to know that ah'm getting married!"

"Well, let's not waste time and let's go!" Y/N said, already taking off with Kirby to tell Sally the news as the others follow after her.

They all made it their way back to Freedom HQ just to see Sally and Rotor on the video call with Knuckles on screen as they walk inside as Sally says.

"The Freedom Fighters owe you this one."

After Bunnie and Antoine told Sally the news that they're getting married, Sally sent them on a mission that Knuckles told her a rumor that Rouge had stolen the Master Emerald from Angel Island and was selling it to the highest bidder. Y/N was shocked that she could do such a thing and was going to get into the bottom of this. They are now at Marshlands that night as they went in separate group. Sonic and Antoine and Y/N, Sally, and Bunnie. Kirby had to stay home.

"I have confession to make, Bunnie!" Sally said, looking through the binoculars.

"What's that, Sal?"

"Me being on this mission... Making the team like this... It was selfish of me."

"Whatcha mean? Each team's got a power-playah and a tactical mind."

"Yeah, but... Don't think I haven't noticed, Bunnie. I haven't really been a part of the Freedom Fighters for a long time. You and Antoine getting married... and Sonic and I haven't really been seeing each other much. I feel like we're starting to grow distant... I'm being jealous."

"Sally..." Y/N frowned.

"Ah'm glad you see it, Sugah, because ah was startin' to worry for ya. But we're still yo' friends. We can understand if you give us a chance."

"Oh, Bunnie... Right now I really wish I could, but our first guest have arrived."

Y/N looked ahead and immediately brought out her whip as Nack came riding towards them in his motorcycle.

"That's far enough, Nack. Come along quietly, and maybe we can forget the charge of escaping prison."

"Princess Sally... I was just hired for reconnaissance tonight. But I've been hoping to repay you for that 'Love Tap' a while back."

"I don't think he's going to come quietly, Bunnie, Y/N."

"He'll come quietly enough!"

Bunnie throws a punch at Nack, but he dodged it.

"Not tonight, toots!"

Nack brought out his laser gun and used his tail to spring up in the air and fired at them, but they dodged it as Sally pushed Bunnie out of the way while Y/N jumped back. Y/N spins her whip and throws it towards Nack who's distracted on firing at Sally and Bunnie and was stopped. He was tied up by the whip and Y/N spun him around and made him fly up in the air. She kangaroo jumped up at Nack with her roller skates and gave him a punch to the chin and then his head, knocking him out cold. Y/N landed gracefully while Nack landed badly.

"Nice one, Y/N." Bunnie smiled.

"Thanks. Let's head back."

Y/N dragged Nack with her whip before tying him up with the rope and handed it to Sally and Bunnie who's on Nack's motorcycle before Sally drove off as they head off to get Sonic and Antoine while Y/N skates along with her roller skaters. When they got there, they saw Antoine pointing his sword at Bark who's on the ground.

"Nice sword-play, Antoine." Sally said.

"Great job." Y/N said.

"Looks like we're cleanin' up nicely tonight." Bunnie said.

"Merci, ma princess."

"Where's Sonic?" Sally asked.

"He has Bean."

Y/N looked up and snickered to see Sonic wrestling with Bean on the Extreme Gear. She could hear shouts from Bean.

"Indy! Melon! Stale fish! Please consult your owner's manual?"

"Where's your off-button?! There it is!"

THWOK!

Sonic floated back down towards them, holding the unconscious Bean by the feather head.

"More for me, I'm driving—"

"Hey! It's the marvelous queen!" Sonic said.

"I'm still just a princess, but thanks." Sally smiled dreamily at him.

"I let you have that one."

"I know. Now that we have these thugs... Let's go confront Rouge."

"I need to have some serious talk with her." Y/N sighed before taking off ahead of them.

She suddenly stop and hear something and look down at a nearby ditch to see Rouge sitting on top of what supposed to be a Master Emerald that's covered by a brown cover with green glow beneath it.

"Jeez... I offer up the 'Master Emerald' and there are no talkers. What does a girl have to do to get some attention these days?" Rouge sighed, looking impatient.

"Rest assured, madam..."

Y/N gasped to see Mammoth Mogul and Naugus approach Rouge who got up in surprise and fear.

"...You and your generous offer have gone far from unnoticed."

Naugus say nothing and just hiss at her.

"M-Mammoth Mogul! I—I wasn't expecting somebody like you! I mean—I thought you were—"

"Imprisoned? For a time, I was... Dr. Eggman had indeed incinerated my minions and me within his Egg Grapes. Shortly thereafter, some fiend called Finitevus rescued my Destructix and made them his own. I had to use Ixis Naugus to protect myself from the effects of the Egg Grapes until we were 'rescued.' The enigmatic presence known as 'Anonymous' released us as decoys and stole my precious Chaos Emerald, thus limiting my power. The experience has left me power-starved and Naugus...my loyal servant... is little more than animal now."

In the process, Naugus hiss again to show that he can't talk anymore. Mogul reaches out the covered Master Emerald.

"But now, with this precious gemstone, my power will not only be restored, but enhanced to a degree that—"

Y/N glared and immediately jumped down and landed on the covered Master Emerald in front of Mogul, Naugus, and Rouge.

"I don't think so! Back off!"

Sonic and Bunnie came after.

"I take it back—Bean's a lot easier to listen to." Sonic said with a grin.

"Sonic! Y/N!" Mogul exclaimed in surprise.

"Hey, Mogul. Good to see you're as ugly as ever."

"Burn!" Y/N grinned.

"You are a fool to challenge me, hedgehogs. Naugus may have lost his mind and elemental magic, but he has somehow gained the power to shadow-meld, appearing anywhere before you can—!"

But Sonic, Y/N, and Bunnie are not surprised as they stood there with a deadpan look.

"Fifty rings says he tries to pop out right behind us."

"Prolli."

Bunnie punched the shadow behind her and Naugus came out and landed beside them unconscious.

"Do you want to get Antoine for this?"

"Nah. He can finish tyin' up the others with Sally."

Mogul powered up his hands as they glow green.

"I shall not succumb to you mortals so easily! My size and strength are still great! And I still possess the full range of my Ixis magics! If you wish to sacrifice yourselves needlessly, then come—"

They heard a motor running and it revealed Sally riding the motorcycle over the cliff above Mogul and landed on his head.

"You have the right to remain silent!"

Mogul fell to the ground unconscious. Sonic lean against Mogul's horn.

"Now that is an entrance."

"Bravo." Y/N smiled, nodding.

"I'd give it a ten." Rouge clapped.

"Thank you, thank you. Bunnie let Antoine know we'll need more rope."

"Ha-ha-ha! Will do, Sally!"

Bunnie grabbed Naugus and flew up to get Antoine. They now turned to Rouge.

"Five down..." Sonic started.

"...one to go." Sally finished his sentence.

"Let's have a talk, Rouge." Y/N glared at her, punching her fist.

"What? Now, hold on. I'm on your side in all this." Rouge protested.

"Really? By stealing the Master Emerald?" Y/N asked, not believing her.

"Hardly! It was a simple prop to lure in some of the dregs for an easy sting operation!"

Rouge proceeded by removing the cover to reveal that it's not a Master Emerald, but a wooden table with a green lantern on the bottom. Sally and Y/N walked over to Rouge to face her.

"But why not bring us in on this?" Sally asked.

"I work best alone, Princess."

"Then why do this for us at all?"

"It wasn't for you at all..."

Rouge turned to Y/N who look at her in surprise. She lean over to her and gave her a tap on the nose, causing Y/N to blush.

"I did it for you, sweetie."

"For me? Why?"

"I wanted to show you that I can be a  good girl and play by the rules."

"Wow... For a second, there I thought you would be cruel enough to steal the Master Emerald and destroy Angel Island. You know there are echidnas out there."

"I would never be that cruel. Besides, no harm—no foul, right? Let's clean up this mess and head back home." she said, not before giving Y/N a kiss on the cheek.

Y/N was about to swat her away, but Rouge already walked away. Sonic and Sally looked at Rouge in surprise that she got a thing for Y/N. Shortly thereafter, all the villains are tied up and Rouge is riding on the motorcycle with the villains on it. Bunnie and Antoine turned to them.

"Sonic... Y/N... Ma Princess... We were wondering..."

"If ya'll would be best man and maids of honor for our wedding?"

"Whoa! Sweet!"

"I would love that!"

"Of course!" Sally agreed.

"And Y/N. We'd love for you to sing at the wedding reception." Bunnie said, turning to Y/N.

"M-Me?!" Y/N exclaimed, pointing at herself.

"Of course. We know that you can sing very well as Sonic told us." Antoine said with a smile.

"What do you say?" Bunnie asked.

Y/N hesitated for a moment and looked at Sonic and Sally as they nodded at her that there's no turning back. She wouldn't mind singing even if she gets some stage fright.

"Sure! I would be very honored!"

"Great!"

Sally hugged Bunnie.

"And I'm long overdue in saying congratulations to you both!"

"Don't you give it a second thought, Sally-Girl. We know you've had a lot on yer mind lately. We've taken down some of the most dangerous rogues on Mobius. We're still a team of friends and lovers."

"The future looks bright, Freedom Fighters!" Sonic said.

Rouge nudged Bark.

"Sweet enough to rot your teeth, aren't they? Can we go now?"

Sonic picked up Sally in bridal style as Bunnie did the same with Antoine.

"Yeah, we've filled our mushy quota. Let's juice it back home, gang!"

Rouge looked at Y/N who was about to skate off.

"Care for a ride, Y/N?"

"No, thanks."

"Are you sure? You sure do look a little tired."

Dang, how does she know that Y/N is tired? Y/N sighed in defeat, knowing that she's right.

"Fine."

She hopped on the motorcycle behind Rouge and wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Oh? Never knew you would like me that much?" she teased with a smirk.

"Just drive..." Y/N growled, looking away.

Rouge chuckled and drove off as they all headed off home.
