Y/N's face and body turned red and was literally on fire along with her front hair as she heard terrible news about Tommy who turned out to be a robot and her dad almost dying to save Sonic from him.

"WHAT?!?! WHO DID THIS?!"

Everyone flinched at how angry she is, feeling scared. Sonic gulped and was brave enough to slowly tell her.

"It was Eggman..."

Y/N said nothing as her body cooled off much to their relief. She slowly turn to Sally who yelped and started sweating nervously.

"Where are we heading off to? Because he's going to regret the day he sees me!"

The Freedom Fighters are now in the cockpit of FFS-Mark 2.

"There it is, Ant." Sonic pointed ahead. "You fly low over the ruins and, hopefully, right below the radar."

"Sso zat iz ze island of Megaopoliss...?"

"Old Megapolis, Antoine." Sally said.

"Thas ra-ight, Sal." Bunnie said. "Accordin' to the map, new Megah-opolis stretches Northeast o' the island and ends at a huge Peninsula."

"Sonic, I'm starting to think it was a bad idea not to tell my dad." Sally said, feeling a little scared.

"No worries, Sally. I'll deal with him. I'm more of a convince person." Y/N assured her with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you even came along, Sal. Aren't you mad at for going on these missions? Besides, he'll tell us to wait. By then who knows where Tommy will be." Sonic said.

"I know... but Tommy is my childhood friend, too. For this secret mission to be a success, I need to be a part of it."

"No arguments there— it feels good to have the ol' Sal back coming up with strategic plans on the fly again."

They now made it to the old ruins of Megapolis.

"Look at the size of those things."

"No kidding, Rotor. Those buildings make Robotropolis look like Candyland."

"That it ain't, Sonic."

"Ain't ain't a word, Tails."

"I don't think they even look like Candyland. Do you see any lollipops, bro?"

"Um... no..."

"So Tails is right because that ain't it."

"Alright, ladies and gents, we're passin' old Megah-opolis and enterin' new Megah-opolis in... 3... 2... 1..."

"Antoine, head for that rooftop. It looks like the perfect place to land this thing." Sally said, pointing at it.

"Your weessh is my command."

They then landed on the rooftop.

"Okay, Nicole, show us the mission schematics... Now Sonic, Y/N, and I will take the lead. Rotor, you and Bunnie follow while Antoine and Tails stay on the ship for the quick getaway."

"Preencess?" Antoine questioned, glaring. "Tails can fly zis plane by himself. I should be there to protect you, non?"

This made Y/N find it suspicious to act like that. Normally, he would gladly stay since he can be scared of missions sometimes, but this so out of character for him. Plus, she noticed he had a scar under his left eye and wondered how he get it.

"Fine." Sally sighed.

Sonic wrapped his arm around Antoine's neck.

"I'm so not used to you volunteering for anything, Twain. You're like a brave, new hero not waiting to miss all the action."

Tails crossed his arms.

"Huh... But why does he get to go and I have to stay?"

"Because I trust you with this plane, which is our only way out of here."

"Okay, Aunt Sally."

Y/N pats his head to comfort him.

"Don't worry, Tails. There's always another time for you to take action. I'll have you be my rescuer if I'm in trouble."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Tails blushed, feeling his twin tails curl into a heart.

"Okay...."

They are now outside, leaving Tails in charge of the plane.

"Nicole, calculate the best route to take to find the Robo-Dyne Factory."

"Yes, Princess Sally... Computing..." Nicole said through the small computer.

"Yeah, the same one that manufactured the infiltrator posing as Tommy that almost killed dad and me." Sonic explained. "Uncle Chuck's detective work got us this far, but it's up to us to take it the rest of the way."

"That Eggman is going to regret that. When I get my hands on him, I'll show him no mercy..." Y/N growled.

"Alright, people... Let's do this by the numbers."

Sally brought out her pair of binoculars.

"What do you see, Sal?" Sonic asked.

"I see many Swatbots... and other bots that look like Robians. They must be infiltrators without their fake skin or furs."

They snuck in through an air duct.

"We're in. But keep it quiet. Nicole's map indicates we go right." she whispered.

"Got it." Y/N whispered back.

Bunnie helps Antoine out.

"C'mon, Ant-Twan, shake a leg." Bunnie whispered.

"Who said I need your help, eh?" he glared.

"What-evah!"

Let's just say her and Antoine broke up and they're having a bad time not talking with each other or facing each other. Y/N immediately went in between them.

"Shhhhh! You're going to get us spotted. Cut it out, you two!"

They turned a corner and their eyes widened in horror.

"I don't..." Sonic and Y/N started.

"Believe what..." Rotor said.

"I'm seeing..." Sally finished the sentence.

They saw what look like a factory filled with several assembly lines pumping out robots being turned into fake Mobians.

"No way..." Y/N silently gasped.

"Several assembly lines of Infiltrators."

"Made by the thousands.""

"This is huge, Sonic, Y/N. We've got to stop this."

"Yeah, like right now." Y/N agreed as everyone is still whispering.

"But Sal, we're here for Tommy-" Sonic protested.

"Sonic, this changes our priorities. First we take down this place, and then we rescue Tommy..."

"Are you crazy, Sal? We wouldn't be able to sneak-tip this one from Dr. R... or the king for that matter when we get back."

"This is my call so I take full responsibility!" Sally said loudly.

"Oh, yeah, and what if it puts Tommy in more danger? You ever think of that?!"

"You two, stop it! First Bunnie and Antoine, and now you?! We're going to get spotted or else bad things will happen-"

Y/N was cut off to see four Swatbots behind them.

"...like that."

"INTRUDER ALERT. INTRUDER ALERT."

"Freedom Fighters, maneuver 27 - GO!"

Sally and Rotor went high ground while Bunnie punch one of the Swatbots.

"YOU ARE UNDER ARREST IN THE NAME OF DR. ROBO— SQUARRK!"

But Sonic and Y/N spin dashes through another robot. Antoine slices one of them in half with his sword. Then more Swatbots came and went straight for the hedgehog siblings.

"DESTINATION: HEDGEHOGS."

"Yeah? So, if you want us..."

"...then come and get us!"

"SURRENDER IN THE NAME OF— SQUARRK!"

Suddenly, all the Swatbots are electrocuted, shocking Sonic and Y/N. Then, Sally swung down the rope like Tarzan and picked up Sonic and Y/N.

"What the—?"

"Sally? Did you—"

"Rotor electrocuted the floor. Hope you two don't mind being saved by a girl."

"Not at all."

"Oh please, I've been saved by a girl before, Sally. So I don't mind."

"That's that. Where's Sonic, Y/N-Girl, and Sal-Gal?" Bunnie asked after fending off the robots.

"Knowing Sonic, they went for Tommy..." Rotor answered with a shrug. "Y/N is with them. We'll have to follow up on Sally's plan to blow the place up."

Rotor is indeed right and Sally knows he's already on it. Nicole hacks into the network and they find Tommy's whereabouts. They go quickly, the only way Sonic and Y/N knows. In the chamber, the real Tommy is standing on the metal podium handcuffed from his wrists to his legs.

"SECURITY BREACH PROTOCOL. TERMINATE PRISONER: TOMMY TURTLE."

Tommy closes his eyes in defeat.

"This is the end."

All of the sudden a familiar katana sliced the Swatbot in half. A gloved hand was held out to Tommy. His eyes gleamed in joy.

"I-I can't believe it's you two!"

"You're free, Tommy."

"Oh, Tommy, you don't know how worried I was. I'm so happy to see you're okay." Y/N said, smiling at him in relief.

"Thanks, Sonic and Y/N. I thought I was done for."

Y/N help unlock the handcuffs him and Tommy bow down to Sally.

"Your highness, Tommy Turtle at your service."

"I'm just Sally... please don't treat me like a stuffy princess—"

She came up and hugged him.

"—When a hug will do!"

Their moments were cut for a sec by Nicole's call.

"Sally— Urgent message coming in—"

"It's Rotor!"

Meanwhile, Bunnie and Antoine are dealing with more Swatbots that kept appearing before them.

"—I repeat— We're on the rooftop and meeting a lot of resistance. Bombs already to go off at any minute so we have to move— now!"

"Mission accomplished on this side. We're on our way!" Sally replied.

Sonic and Y/N carried Sally and Tommy and zoomed off on their way to their friends until they made it.

"Yikes— Rotor wasn't kiddin'!" Tommy yelped who's in Y/N's arms.

"INTRUDERS DETECTED— SECTION 10 ROOFTOP. DESIGNATION: SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, Y/N THE HEDGEHOG, PRINCESS SALLY ACORN, TOMMY TURTLE."

"YOU ARE UNDER ARREST IN THE NAME OF DR. ROBOTNIK!"

The Freedom Fighters were about to take a fight when Sally saw something.

"Wait! Look, it's—"

They heard the sound of an engine and the area started to fill with smoke.

"Tails and FFS-Mark 2!"

"Hope you don't mind the smoke screen." Tails said through mic of the plane. "Anybody looking for a ride?"

"You don't have tah ask me twice, Sugah!" Bunnie said, pulling Antoine with her.

They quickly ran on board with the robots on their tails.

"This place is gonna blow!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Punch it, Tails!" Y/N exclaimed.

The Freedom Fighters got away just in time as the factory started exploding behind them.

"Yay! We made it!" Tails cheered.

"My hero!" Y/N kissed Tails on the cheek, causing his face to turn red.

"Welcome back, Tommy." Sally greeted.

"You see, Sal? Nothing to it." Sonic grinned.

"Nothing to it? We still have to tell my father about it and that will not be easy."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that."

"Why doesn't that surprise me?"

"Like I said, Sally, don't worry. I'll deal with him." Y/N said as they fly off to home.
