Apple Margery
The very first recipe...
Apple Menagerie! Menagerie sounds nice, but I can't pronounce the damn word... Ah yes, I have better name for this one! We'll call it "Apple Margery". It's a type of dessert, duh.
So how do we make it?
Here are the ingredients...
This is a frothy kind of drink. You'll need a bag of apples (whatever type you choose), cut them in half, get some pumpkin puree, 1/4th cup of sugar, a single teaspoon of pumpkin spice if you so desire (some people don't like pumpkin spice, but you'll need it for this recipe), and ANOTHER teaspoon of vanilla extract -- because the real thing ain't gonna cut it.
If you don't know how to measure anything, well you'll have to fend for yourself. Taste until it's to your liking... LIKE I DO! No, not really. I'm actually fantastic at measuring stuff. Ahem, a bit of arrogance there. I'm not apologizing.
NOW, the steps!
Juice your apples.
STEP 1. JUICING: You can blend it all together in a juicer with the peel and core if you want, but I think you'd be nuts if you did that. Make about 4 cups of the apple juice.
COMBINING.
STEP 2. Throw all the shiza together! The sugar, the wee bit of pumpkin pie spice and vanilla, COMBINE IT! Afterward, whisk that hot mess up nice and good in the apple juice, then chill it for 30 minutes.
Annd then you're done!
If you want it with ice, whisk it again before serving it over the ice.
