7 No means...

No. If you answered this question with a yes then you might have a problem with the concept of consent. There are a few main types of story genres: the consenting minor, the consenting adult, dubious consent, and nonconsenting.

The consenting minor is a tough one for me. When it's 2 similarly aged, it is generally cute. When it's 1 minor vs 1 adult, my eye starts twitching. This has been done over and over but it doesn't make it any less illegal, unfortunately.

When the minor is teenaged, I kind of like to give the poor guy a break because I was there too once. I loved someone older than me by 5 years and my first petname from them was "jailbait."

Romantic right? Well if I could wait then so can your fxcking characters. Oh man. We kissed. We dated. We held hands. I jacked off while they watched. Oops did I say that out loud? Heh.

Point is that you can do it legally in your stories if you want. It creates WONDERFUL agst. I'm telling you. It really is a wonderful tool gone to waste in a world of bam pow/right now.

The consenting adult. Enough said. Romance at it's best is built on two loving peeps. Frankly so is any proper BDSM relationship. The trust and giving over of oneself can be a beautiful, magical thing.

This one is hard to fxck up, but I've seen it. See what they think is pretty words to show the above... Is actually cleverly disguised language for the next two genres. Stuff the masters of dubious consent and non-consenting use to manipulate.

We'll start with dub-con (for short)... You know these. One party never says "yes I wanna fxck" or just kind of goes along with stuff? Maybe they are pressured into saying yes, but you know they aren't really sure?

While made into a subgenre that is slightly more palatable for the reader, in real life this is considered rxpe. When used for SM or purposefully twisted stories... I kind of like it. It gives those poor used boys a helplessness that is fitting in the story.

When used in a "romance" I fxcking hate it.

No really. S M H.

I won't call out anyone here for doing this but... WHAT THE FXCK ARE YOU THINKING!?

*gasping from screaming so loud*

Sorry. I just don't want our youth to think this is okay.

Hell it's not okay. For boys or girls. I mean, damn girls they made a whole movement on this shizz for you not to have this in your life so why you torturing your poor gay bottoms? Or tops for that matter? You want them to have to say "me too?"

Keep the non-con (for short... Wait I'm short. Oops sorry, got distracted.) Just keep it where it belongs and LABEL it as such. I mean there's a name for us kinky fxckers who like that, so I'm not saying don't write it ever (in fact I might include tips here later)...

I'm saying call it like it is. FXCKED UP. Not normal. Definitely not romance. Only for those who like that sort of thing. Traumatising for some. Warning labels required.

Seriously I watched a friend cry for an hour because some bas-turd on here didn't.
