Introducing two of the coolest and most badass brothers in the history of TV, Supernatural is the longest running Primetime Television Series out there. And who can blame em? The show,which turned the classic song Carry On My Wayward Son(oh, the feels) even more classic and epic then it already was, has it all. What started as a simple quest of two brothers trying to find their lost father who is searching for the Thing that killed his wife years ago, turned into an explosion of Angels,Leviathans,Demons and every supernatural creatures out there. Starting on its 13th season on 12th October, Supernatural shows no sign of slowing down, having a pretty huge and supportive cult of its own. Every episode has them fighting a new supernatural creature and every season have them battling one of the ultimate baddie, may it be Demons, Death , Eve or Lucifer himself.

One of the things I like about Supernatural is that all of its female characters are utter badasses. No damsel in distresses, no sir. And the two main characters Dean and Sam Winchester played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki have charismatically played their tortured characters over the years. Dean Winchester is the ultimate 80s hero with his oozing masculinity,quirky humor, a foodie and his vintage car who stoically hides his emotions until they explode in a burst of violence or self destructiveness whereas Sam Winchester is the nerdy younger brother who wears his hearts on his sleeves. Helped by their friends(mostly non-humans) , these brothers will try to save the world again and again but at the end of the day, its the Winchesters against the evils of the world. The relationship between the two brothers melts your heart as they sacrifice themselves for the other time and time again. I would definitely recommend Supernatural as a TV show that can get you addicted and keep you glued to your TV.
