Ok, so...

I've always wanted to show jump and I've been riding for years but only now started to get the real passion and want for the jumping.

My step-mum found this place where I could go. It costs £40 an hour.

She also offered me a job on a Saturday at her Salon that she owns. I'd get paid £30.

I told my mum about the job and she said it's a possibility.

I need to save up for a Mini because I can drive in two years. My mum is a driving instructor.

I haven't yet told her about the jumping lessons that I want to save up for.

I don't want to seem horrible or anything.

I used to go riding with my sister until we stopped due to being a little too old for where we went and also we couldn't afford it really.

I don't want to hurt her by saying "oh yeah by the way, my step-mum offered me a job to work with her on a Saturday so I can save up to go riding again - you know, how we stopped cause we could always pay for it?"

You guys know what I mean?

I guess it'd be my own hard earned money but still.....

Anyways, what should I do?

Should I wait and see if my mum allows me to work Saturdays and then a few weeks in mention the jumping?

Or do I tell her now?

Or do I not tell her at all?

Somebody please offer me your opinion. I don't know what to do.
