Ok, so...

I really, like really, want to try show jumping. So my step-mum said she knows this person who used to own a jumping riding school. She sold it and someone else has it now.

Anyway, my step-mum owns a salon and she offered me a Saturday job, earning me £30 and the lessons are £40.

The thing is, I told my mum and of course she wants me on a Saturday because I'm her daughter. I've told her about me maybe working at my step-mum's salon and she says it's a possibility.

I don't know if I should tell her about the jumping just yet because I'd be saving the money up to go but I also need money for my Mini for when I can drive in two years. My mum is a driving instructor.

I used to go riding with my sister once a week but we stopped as we were getting too old for the place we were going to. And we kinda didn't have the money.

I don't want it to seem as though my step-mum and my dad are giving me a better offer and I don't want my mum to feel bad that we can't afford it. But if I work then I can go.

I'm not really sure what to do.

Do you understand how I mean about being worried about hurting my mum because my step-mum suggested it after my mum telling me she doesn't think I'd make a career out of it? I really want to try show jumping though. I bet it'd be amazing.

Please tell me what you all think so I know what to do!!!
