Part 5 

The woman's next stance made Khushi shock.

"Chotte... Khushi is so nice. I know if I like someone then she must be good"

She looked at Arnav widening her eyes who was smirking at her.

Chotte? What does that mean? Who the woman is?

Yes, she was none other than Arnav's mother Ratna who is here to meet Khushi as she is a big fan of her.

"You are right, Mom" Arnav's smirk widened.

"Is she Arnav's mother? Really? Didn't he say his mother will come tomorrow only?" Khushi thought.

"Khushi, I'm your big fan you know? Ratna said happily.

"She knows, Mom. I told her." Arnav intentionally said that.

"I won't miss any of your movies. I like your eyes' expressions. It spoke volumes." Ratna praised her like a kid.

"But, don't ask if she watches her son's movie." Aman chuckled.

Khushi looked at Ratna getting flabbergasted.

"He and his movies... full of rubbish... totally filmy..." Ratna teased Arnav.

Aman laughed while Arnav glared at her.

"But I will surely watch this movie... for you and Aman."

Aman laughed more, seeing Arnav's reaction.

"Then what... did you watch his second movie "You...Love...Life"?" She asked Khushi.

Khushi nodded no.

"Thank God, you didn't watch it. In that movie, he dives from the helicopter to save the heroine's life and stands without even a scratch on his body." Ratna said sarcastically and laughed whereas Khushi bit her lips to control her laugh but Aman couldn't hold his laugh.

"Mom, it was my second movie... I was unable to interfere in the script at that time." Arnav searched for an excuse.

"Ohh really...? Then why your last movie got flopped?"

Arnav was tongue-tied. What could he say? Khushi was surprised, seeing Ratna pulling her son's legs openly. Ratna looked so cool and Khushi liked her so much.

"Ma, show some mercy on ASR. Poor him" Aman laughed.

"You don't know Aman, he is worse in choosing movies."

"There are many issues maji... some directors are incapable to bring the original script on the screen. We like the script when the directors elaborate it but they won't shoot what they said" Khushi said with a smile.

"She is right" Aman agreed.

"But Aman, this time, it shouldn't happen," Ratna warned him rightfully.

"I will try my best, Ma"

"Mom, you have forgotten something," Arnav remembered her something.

"Ohh yeah..."

"You became busy teasing me." Arnav smiled.

"Khushi beta, look, I brought jalebis for you," Ratna said making Khushi perplexed.

"Jalebi?" She looked at Aman who shrugged his shoulders off like, I don't know.

"You know Khushi.... Chotte always talks about you. He asked me to bring jalebi for you" She said while opening the jalebi box.

Khushi looked at Arnav gulping.

"Come on take it" she extended the box.

"Thanks"

"You know I was so happy when you got committed to Chotte."

"Yeah... she wants us to get committed" Arnav smiled.

Khushi looked at him dumbfounded.

"I mean, in a movie" he folded his lips.

"Actually, I want to invite you to our house". Said Ratna.

"Why? Anything special?" Khushi asked with hesitation.

"Of course, it will become a special day if you come to our house." Ratna chuckled.

Khushi embarrassed by the overflowing love of Ratna.

"Do you like my preparation?" Ratna asked eagerly.

"Your preparation? What are you talking about?" Khushi asked confusingly.

"I mean food."

Khushi scrunched her brows.

"It's mom, who is sending your food every day," Arnav uttered.

"Haan Khushi, Chotte gave me your likes and dislikes list. I like to cook for my favorite girl"

Khushi didn't know how to react to it. She thought Aman is sending her favorite food every day.

"Thanks" that's what she could say.

"Arrey, don't be formal. You can ask me anything."

Khushi nodded Ok.

"Have it" Ratna extended a jalebi towards her mouth. Khushi bit a little from that.

"Excuse me..." she left the place hurriedly.

"What happened to her?"

Arnav could read her became emotional.

"She is so sensitive. I think she should have remembered her mother". Aman said.

"Poor girl" Ratna pitied for her.

"Very poor," Aman said.

"Chotte, bring her to our home one day."

"She and coming to our home... that too with me? She is not even talking to me." He said disappointedly.

"How could she talk to you if you are getting gossiped with your heroines continuously?" Ratna defended Khushi.

"Don't you know it's all NK's job?" Arnav sighed.

"Can't you control him?" Ratna questioned.

"Is it? It's all NK?" Aman asked frowning.

"Haan yaar... being my PR, he is doing this for my publicity."

"Ohh..." Aman thought something.

"What are you thinking?" Arnav asked.

"Khushi's ignorance towards you already started spreading in the industry."

"Yeah... I knew. She is the only one who is reluctant towards me." Arnav sighed.

"Have you seen Akanksha's tweet about Khushi?" Aman asked.

"No... what did she tweet?" he asked raising his brows.

"She tweeted that Khushi is ignoring you because she is egoistic," Aman said folding his hands.

"How dare she?" Ratna frowned.

"She is," Aman said.

"I will ask her to remove the post before Khushi sees that."

"Do it right now, Chotte" Ratna said.

"No need..."

They turned around only to find Khushi standing.

"But why Khushi?"

"She said I'm egoistic, doesn't mean I'm. It's her perspective... just leave it." She said coolly.

"But how could she criticize you when she never worked with you before?" Ratna asked.

"It's not necessary to answer everyone. I just don't want to give importance to her words because I'm not getting affected by such statements."

She simply said and left the place.

Arnav and Ratna amazed whereas Aman didn't because he knew her.

But, when a particular gossip started spreading about her, Khushi could not ignore it or without getting affected by it. It became a hot-talk of the industry which was getting her nerves.

"Khushi Gupta is ignoring Arnav Singh Raizada because she is afraid of his charms."
