Part 26 Breezy Climate

The matter of "Arnav quitting cini field" spread like a forest fire. Khushi got weary attending phone calls according to it. Though she was weary she was not ready to switch the phone off. She attended all the calls and answered without losing patience.

On the other hand, Arnav casually confirmed his stand...especially with directors and producers.

One of the producers called Arnav. He and Arnav worked together a year ago. But they couldn't complete the movie due to the producer's economic condition. Arnav likes him very much as he had a good nature. Even though he was "fifty-plus" he calls everyone with respect, putting "JI". He calls even a simple technician with respect, like, Light boy Ji... Camera manJI...

That's what made Arnav like him. Arnav attended the call, seeing the name Gangadhar.

"Namaste Sir..."

"Namaste, Arnavji."

"How are you, sir?"

"I'm fine. And I heard about your decision of quitting the cini field."

"What you heard is right. I would like to settle down..."

"With Khushiji... right?"

"Yes sir."

"Very good decision. Khushiji is a good girl. She deserves a peaceful life."

"Thank you, sir..."

"Actually, I want to talk to you about the movie that we left incomplete."

"Tell me, sir..."

"Could you complete it before quitting the field? I have faced a big economic problem. I think I can manage it if the movie would get released. I just want your seven dates to complete the movie. Could you help me?"

Arnav knew how much money he has been spent on the movie. If the movie doesn't release, Gangdar will face huge losses because the money he spent on the movie goes in vain.

"I will definitely do it for you, sir."

"Tell me when you will give me your dates."

"I will talk to Aman and let you know sir."

"I heard the first schedule of WSINTL had finished. I think Aman won't start the second schedule before he finishes the editing work. Can you give those dates to me?"

"I'm also thinking the same, sir. But I can't give the dates if he is planning for rerecording. Let me ask him."

"Ok Arnavji. I will be waiting for your call.

"Sure sir."

Arnav disconnected the call. He knew Aman will definitely reschedule the dates if he gets to know that Gangadhar wants Arnav's dates. Like Arnav, Aman also likes Gangadhar. He is such a humble person. He was on the peak at once but he faced a huge loss as his one of the films flopped. Aman will surely help him if he can. But only one thing which made Arnav hesitate is the female lead of the movie is Akanksha.

He doesn't know what Khushi will think of him. He will easily handle if she opens up with him but she won't. That's what a big problem in her relationship.

As expected Aman adjusted Arnav's dates and permitted him to finish Gangadar's movie. There was no chance for him to meet Khushi as the first schedule of the movie shooting got over. But he was not ready to go to the shooting without meeting her. He wanted to tell her about the movie and also about the heroine of the movie. So, he went to her house.

Gupta Mansion

It was an afternoon. The climate was awesome as it was a pleasant spring season. Adding to it, there was no shooting. Then what Khushi will do? Exactly... she is sleeping, covering herself by a quilt. Switching off the air conditioner, she was enjoying the breezy climate, leaving all the windows open.

Lavanya was watching a reality show on TV, munching potato chips, extending her legs on the tea table. She stood, seeing Arnav entering. If she would have expected him to ask her about Khushi, Arnav made her disappointed. He headed to her room directly, not giving heed to her presence. Lavanya gasped in relief and sat on the couch again to continue the job which she was doing.

Arnav saw a BUNDLE on the bed. Khushi was curling inside the quilt and it looked like a bundle. A soft chuckle broke into his throat. Curtains of the windows were flying in the air and the breeze caressed his face, making him lazy.

He came to the bed and sat silently and pulled the quilt off slowly. Her hair was being messed up. She was sleeping, hugging a pillow. She scratched her cheek in her sleep. Arnav scratched her cheek, at the same place where she scratched. Khushi smiled in her sleep.

Arnav bend down and whispered in her ear.

"Khushi..."

"Mmm..."

"Khushi, I love you."

"I too love you..." She said smilingly.

"Really?"

"Mmmm..." she again smiled.

He kissed her cheek strongly and she opened her eyes jerking. She shocked, seeing him sitting on her bed.

"What are you doing here? How did you come here?" she shouted.

"Is it a big deal to enter into your room? It's just twenty-two steps..."

Khushi sighed.

"I came to see you..."

Khushi looked at him expressionlessly.

"I want to tell you something very important."

"Tell me." she circled her knees.

"I'm going to "First Love" shooting for one week."

Khushi's face brightened.

"Is Gangadar sir starting its shooting again?"

"Yeah... as I'm quitting the film industry, he wants to finish the movie soon."

Khushi's face drained hearing that.

"Arnav, are you really quitting?"

"Won't you trust me?"

"Arnavvvvv.... Please don't do that."

"Will you be with me, if I don't do that?"

Khushi looked at somewhere without answering.

"You won't... right?"

"It's not that I don't trust you... I just want to lead a peaceful life. Without tension... with relaxation..."

"Of course, I too want the same. Is it wrong if I like such life?"

Khushi sighed. Arnav lifted her face and made her look at him.

"Answer me," He asked raising his eyebrows.

She nodded NO.

"Is it wrong if I want to spend my life with a girl who I like the most?"

She looked at him without nodding her head.

"I love you Khushi... understand that."

"You may repent in future for quitting the field."

"Will you repent?"

"My story is different..."

"...so is mine."

"Tell me why do you come here?"

"You know who the heroine of the "first love" movie is..."

She nodded yes.

"That's why I want to tell you."

"It's not necessary..."

"It is... I don't want you to think of anything."

"I won't..." she said looking at somewhere.

"Look at my face and say..."

"I won't Arnav.," she said looking at him.

"It's because you trust me, right?"

"Go... and complete the project."

"Thank you, sweetheart." He tapped her nose.

Khushi closed her eyes jerking a little.

"Bye..." Arnav smiled.

Khushi nodded yes. Arnav left the place joyfully. Khushi again fell on the bed, hugging the pillow, smilingly. Something is blooming inside her it seems.

Arnav reached the SETS of FIRST LOVE. The set looked passionate. It was the second and final chance for the producer Gangadhar to get firm in the film industry. So, he was putting all the effort to complete the film. As it was Gangadhar film, the technicians also worked hard because Gangadhar was a respectable man. Unit guys are making all the required things ready. Arnav was also ready with the given costume.
