Part 25 Decision

Arnav got a call from a producer. Arnav knew him very well. Arnav worked for him in a movie. He is purely a commercial producer. MONEY is his only motto. Arnav attended the call.

"Hello, sir..."

"Hello ASR..."

"What's the matter? You remembered me?" Arnav asked, teasingly.

"For what I would call you? For your precious dates."

"Sorry sir, I'm not interested to continue in the cini field."

"Whaaaat! What do you say?" he asked shockingly.

"What you heard is right. You would have seen the program on the TV..."

"I thought it was for fun."

"No... it's not... I'm really quitting..."

"For Khushi?"

"Yes."

"Are you really serious, ASR?"

"Damn serious..."

"Khushi asked you to quit?" he asked disappointedly.

"I wish she would have asked me..." Arnav chuckled.

"What do you mean?"

"She doesn't want me to quit my career..."

"Then why are you quitting?"

"Because she is not ready to marry an actor. That's why..."

"That means doesn't she love you?"

Arnav wanted to say "She does..." But,

"No, she doesn't..."

"But media says you both are in love..."

"Sometimes, the media knows about us more than us..." Arnav laughed.

"So true...media are living by the gossips..."

"But I like this gossip..." Arnav laughed again.

"ASR... Can't you do one last movie for me? It's a very good story..."

"Sorry, sir... I'm not ready to act even if James Cameron gives me chance in his movie.

"What if Khushi agrees to act with you? Will you act?"

Arnav got struck for a second.

"She won't agree. I can bet." He smiled.

"Not even with you?"

"If she decided once then she won't change her mind no matter what... but I won't stop you from trying. Try..."

"Ok ASR... Bye..."

Arnav disconnected the call smilingly. Kailash immediately called Khushi to give a try. She received it.

"Hello, Kailash sir..."

"Hello Khushi, how are you?"

"I'm fine sir."

"I had seen on the TV program. I like it very much. You and ASR's pair is just awesome. I would like to make a movie and I want you and ASR to act in that."

"I'm really sorry sir. "What shall I name this love?" will be my last movie. You know me.... right?"

"But Khushi, don't forget where you are standing. You are in the peak and quitting the field at this time is not a wise decision."

"But settling down in life is more important, right?"

"You know how many people waiting for years to get a single chance... But, you are blessed... think once before quitting... You are a talented actress... That's why I'm saying."

"Please give chance to those who are waiting for years and make their dreams come true. Just because I'm quitting the field, the cini field will not stop working..."

"Not just you... ASR is also quitting just because of you. If you change your decision then the cini field won't lose two talented artists. Please think about it."

His words pricked Khushi.

"Look Kailash Sir, I can do nothing with it because it's purely Arnav's decision. I'm not stopping him from continuing his career. Please try to understand that."

"You mean you don't love him?"

"Sorry, sir... I'm not interested to answer this question. Arnav knows me... That's all. Thank you for your concern."

She disconnected the call.

Kailash was highly disappointed with Arnav and Khushi's decision. He thought to earn money using the most wanted couple of the industry. But Khushi won't let it happen it seems. He again called Arnav. Arnav looked at the phone and smiled. He knew Kailash would have called Khushi and asked her to act in his movie because Kailash said him about pairing her with him. And he very well knew what her answer would be. More than that, he knew about Kailash.

He attended the call.

"Yes, sir..."

"Khushi said she doesn't love you."

Arnav expected Kailash would say about Khushi's reply to him. But he didn't expect this. He understood that Kailash is playing his cards between them. He composed himself.

"What new in that? She always says that." Arnav laughed making Kailash disappointed.

"If she doesn't accept your proposal, what's the point in quitting the field?"

"I will take care of it, sir... you don't have to worry about it."

"No ASR... what I'm saying is..."

"Whaaaat?"

"How big your name is..! What a great star you are...! Why are you lowering your prestige for a mere girl? Can't you get a GOOD woman? Don't you know she roamed with Rohit...?"

That's it... Arnav lost his patience. He roared at him.

"Enough.... Enough Kailash...(he called Kailash, instead if SIR.) I respect you.... don't spoil that talking rubbish about Khushi. I won't mind my tongue. Be careful."

He disconnected the call in frustration and threw it on the bed. How dare he... how cheap he... just to get his dates, how could he talk about Khushi?

Kailash looked at Rohit who is sitting beside him hearing the phone talks.

"ASR became furious..." Kailash said.

"Leave it... it won't affect you anyway. After all, he quits the field." Rohit said coolly.

"You said ASR will get upset if I say what Khushi said. But ASR didn't take it seriously and reacted very cool."

"He became mad..." Rohit said irritatingly.

"Don't know how Khushi captivated him..." Kailash said frowning.

"She would not have captivated him. It's him.... who is behind her." Rohit said confidently yet annoyingly.

"I don't think so..." Kailash said.

"Why?"

"You don't know ASR... he won't make a decision easily if he doesn't get a SPARK. I have never seen a passionate actor like ASR. He is ready to quit the field for Khushi now. This means he would become more passionate about her. "

He said thoughtfully which made Rohit thoughtful.

"They will definitely get married... soon... mark my words," Kailash said.

Rohit was suffocating like hell. He doesn't want it to happen. No matter whether Khushi marries him, but she should not marry Arnav. This is his exact intention. He has to do something to stop her from marrying Arnav. No doubt about that. He couldn't let her property slip from his hand. He should do something... soon...

Breezy Climate

The matter of "Arnav quitting cini field" spread like a forest fire. Khushi got weary attending phone calls according to it. Though she was weary she was not ready to switch the phone off. She attended all the calls and answered without losing patience.

On the other hand, Arnav casually confirmed his stand...especially with directors and producers.
