Part 22 I'm quitting

Khushi started to be so casual which Arnav didn't expect. He thought she will give him a cold shoulder. But nope. She looked cool. In fact, soooo cool. Arnav wondered that whether she is acting or really behaving coolly. He didn't think about it anymore as he was not ready to waste his time because he was already fixed his goal and moves.

Arnav and Khushi were ready for the next shot. It was the Mehandi scene. Khushi looked damn stunning in backless RED choli.

As per the scene, Arnav asked her to come alone. Khushi goes to him, without knowing the reason. Arnav ties the knot of her choli which was being untied. Arnav drags her close to him with a killer smile and ties the knot of her choli.

He intentionally touched her back softly while tying the knot. Khushi faced a tough time to act in the scene without showing her inner turmoil. Arnav smirked, seeing her gulping down. The shot was OK in the first TAKE.

Khushi went to the make-up room as usual. Arnav didn't follow her and send a unit boy with snacks. Khushi surprise as Arnav didn't follow her like always. Taking it Khushi smiled at the unit boy.

Arnav didn't follow her because he wanted to see her reaction after the program telecasted. As he expected, the program created a wave. Arnav as well as Khushi started getting calls from not only industry people but also from their friends. Arnav switched off the phone smilingly. He wanted people to think and talk about them. He intentionally gave food to people's thoughts. But Khushi attended every call and simply said "Ask ASR about it because it's him who said those statements."

Arnav could ignore the whole world not to answer but not his own father. Arvind was all tensed, watching the program.

RM

When Arnav entered RM, Arvind started to arrow questions.

"Chotte in which sense did you say that? Do you think the media people won't exaggerate the matter? What do you think of Khushi? You know she is a stubborn girl. Then why are you behind her?"

Arnav stopped and looked at him.

"Did you watch the program?"

"Just now."

"What do you think Dad?"

"It's an indirect declaration of your love for Khushi."

"No, dad. It's a DIRECT declaration. I had not hidden anything. I just said what I really feel for her but in reverse."

"I don't think this will work"

"Why?"

"Will you leave the field for Khushi?"

"Haan..."

"What the..." he was shocked.

"Yes, Dad. I have been decided to quit the field."

"This is rubbish."

"Why dad? Won't you sacrifice anything for Mom?"

"It's different..."

"No, dad. Both matters are the same."

"How?"

"Don't you think Khushi is a good girl?"

"Chotte... "

"Tell me, dad."

"Of course, she is."

"Then what I want more than that for my future?"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"Did you say that to Khushi?"

"Yeah... but she is not accepting my decision it seems."

"But why?"

"She doesn't want to be an obstacle to my passion.... Simple."

"Did she tell you that?"

"No... I can understand her dad."

Arvind sighed. he saw Ratna was watching them.

"Ratna, have you heard him?"

She nodded yes.

"Are you fine with that?"

"Are not you?" she snapped him back.

Arvind went speechless as he really didn't know what to say.

"Cinema is his profession. He can survive even if he changes the profession but LOVE is not like that. It will stay in his heart forever if he misses her."

Arvind sighed.

"Dad, we have a business and you are maintaining them successfully."

"And Khushi also has ambition in the education field." Ratna gave her a supportive hand.

"Have you guys already decided?"

"No... I have decided to support Chotte's decision."

"He has been in the media light all the time. It is a kind of addiction. Could you be without that?"

"It's hard to be without media light but my life will be harder without Khushi."

"Ok... go ahead."

Arnav and Ratna smiled.

"Then you can tell Khushi that."

"She won't believe that Dad. Let her finish this movie."

"Ok fine..."

Arnav hugged him.

"Thank you, dad."

"It's my pleasure, my son."

Next day

Shooting spot

Khushi bit her lip and smiled at Arnav teasingly. Arnav raised his eyebrows like "WHAT?"

She showed her eyes towards his lift side. Arnav turned around and found Akansha there. He looked at Khushi and smirked. He knew Akansha would have watched the program the last night and her visit is the effect of the program.

"ASR...."

"Hi..."

"I need to talk to you."

Arnav looked at Khushi's face where there is only sarcasm.

"Do you want to talk to me alone?" Arnav asked seriously.

"No no ASR... I just want to tell you that I'm ready to quit the field." She said looking at Khushi who raised her eyebrows surprisingly.

Arnav smiled inwardly as he expected that.

"Ohh that's great. What are you going to do after quitting the field?" he asked as if he doesn't know her intention.

"I would like to marry you ASR. Didn't you say you will marry me if I quit the field?" She said curiously.

"You denied me when I was ready. That's ok... I and my parents have been decided something. I think you should know that."

"What's that ASR?"

"I'm also going to quit the field."

More than Akansha, Khushi was shocked.

"whaaaat ! but why?"

"I'm bored of the cini industry."

"This is pathetic."

"How? You are also giving up. Then how does it be pathetic?"

"I know how passionate you are..."

" I have changed my passion." He said looking at Khushi who was looking at him with a horrified expression.

"I won't believe this... You are lying."

"You will get to know when I declare it officially."

"I know you are lying. You want to deny my proposal. That's why you are telling lies."

"Think whatever."

Akansha looked at Khushi.

"Don't fly high. He is cheating you. He is showing off like he is sacrificing his passion for you but he won't. He will be out of the field until he marries you. Even though he quits he will definitely give reentry after marrying you. It will definitely happen. Mark my words." She yelled in anger and left the place.

Khushi sighed pitying Akansha. She was about to leave,

"Won't you ask anything?" Arnav asked.

"I know you said that to escape from her proposal." She chuckled.

"Nope... what I said is true. I'm going to quit the field."

He left the place leaving frowning Khushi who was standing, couldn't believe his words.
