Part 15 Plot Executed

All the time, Khushi was thinking about why Arnav didn't meet her. She couldn't come to the conclusion. Khushi poured water in the glass with the same thought. Lavanya clutched her hand and Khushi looked at her. That's when she sensed that water was overflowing.

"Are you all right, Khushi?" Lavanya asked.

Khushi nodded yes.

"Really? I have never seen you so lost... not even at the time of Garima aunt's demise. (she paused) You look upset."

"No... nothing like that."

Khushi started eating, looking at her plate.

"Is it because of ASR?" Lavanya questioned her.

Khushi lifted her head up and looked at LA.

"I'm watching you. You became upset when he left the shooting spot without meeting you."

"Why should I be upset if he didn't meet me?"

"You are the one who should answer the question Khushi.... OR ask the question to yourself. You will find an answer."

After that Lavanya ate silently. So did Khushi. Finishing the dinner, Khushi came to her room. She saw her phone flashing which is in a silent mood. Taking the phone, she checked it. There was three missed call from Arnav. Again her phone flashed with Arnav's name. Without a second thought, she attended it.

"Why didn't you attend my calls Khushi?"

"Because I don't want to talk to you."

"Why?"

"I know you are a good actor but don't show your acting capacity to me."

"I didn't catch it... what does that mean?"

"Arnav, I'm already angry with you. Don't make me angrier."

"But why are you angry with me?"

"We can wake up the person who is really sleeping but we couldn't who is pretending."

"Don't' beat around the bush Khushi. Tell me the matter. I don't have a sharp mind as you do."

"Why do you call me?"

"As usual I called you."

"But why?"

"Don't ask me that Khushi. Without talking to you, I won't get sleep. You know, I'm getting addicted to you."

"Just stop your drama..."

"Drama? My struggle looks like drama?"

"Struggle? That's why you refused to meet me today?"

"Who said I refused you?"

"Who should say? Don't I know? You met everyone in the set except me... what does that mean? What do you think? This is why I keep a distance from people. This is why I never let anyone enter into my personal space. This is why I don't like anyone."

"This is why you are upset... I don't want to interrupt your concentration. That's why I didn't meet you but as I didn't expect, my negation interrupted your concentration more than my presence it seems..."

Khushi was dumbfounded.

"So what if I didn't meet you? I came to the set to see you because I can't be without seeing you because I love you. Why are you feeling restless when I didn't meet you?"

"You are my friend...that's why."

"Don't cheat on yourself Khushi. You know very well that I'm in love with you. Still, you let me enter into your personal space. What does it mean? Will you say "it's just friendship, not love?"

"I don't love you."

"You are lying... Whatever you feel for me is not friendship but love."

"I can't love you because we are traveling on different paths."

"But now, we are traveling in the same path... close to each other...hand on hand with one another..."

"That won't change anything. I know your passion which is a direct opposite to mine. You could never give me the life which I'm expecting. So, it's waste of time to talk about it."

"You don't have to talk about it. You just leave it on me."

"What does that mean?"

"I will take care of it. I know you love me too. I will get it from you verbally... soon."

"Sorry, Arnav... it won't happen."

"Let see... "

"Good night."

"Khushiiii...."

"Yeah..."

"I love you" He kissed the receiver and disconnected the call.

Khushi flinched back, pulling the phone from her ear as if Arnav kissed her ear. She threw the phone on the bed and looked at that horrified. Gulping hard, she sat on the bed, circling her knees. She buried her head in her knees. She felt week. She was not like this. She never cared about anyone and especially for any actor.

She felt bad when she missed her parents... when they couldn't give their time to her. After them, she never got involved in anyone... she doesn't want to get involved... now she is getting involved with Arnav and it's not up to her control. She didn't feel embarrassed to let him know what she feels about his refusal even after knowing his feelings. What does that mean? Does she love him? Yes, she loves him. But she doesn't want to be a hindrance to his life and passion. She has a future plan for her dream school. She will settle down somewhere in India making it true. She knows to suppress her desires. She used to it... Arnav doesn't have to be tensed about her. Let him live his life.

She lay down on the bed, hugging a pillow.

Next day

The whole industry was on the fire, hearing the news that Akanksha tried to commit suicide. As per their plan, Akanksha cut her wrist. Arnav became frustrated because he knew Akanksha and her thirst. Her eyes were only on NO.1 position. She is not a girl who commits suicide for LOVE. She won't like to suppress her circle around ONE person. She does anything to get movie chances.

He came to the dining and sat silently.

"Did you watch the news?" Arvind asked seriously.

Arnav nodded yes.

"Do you know she loves you?"

"She proposed to me two days ago." Arnav gulped.

"Did you upset her in anyways?"

"No, dad..."

He didn't say what he said.

"What now?"

Arnav stopped eating and looked at him.

"Nothing... it's not my problem if she does something stupid."

"But the media won't be quiet. They will discuss the issue deeply."

"They always do that dad..."

"It may affect your current movie."

"She is doing this only to ruin the movie. She knew this movie will get a box office hit. People will forget our previous movies and our chemistry if this movie touched the peak. That's why she is doing this dad.

"But who believes that?"

"Let me handle this."

He left the breakfast unfinished and went.

Arvind looked at Ratna sadly.

"Don't worry, he will find the solution," Ratna said.

"But how?"

"Anyhow... "

Arvind sighed.

"I felt a bad vibe when I saw Akanksha in the set. Her eyes spat jealous of Khushi. But I didn't expect she would create such a nasty scene."

"Chotte looks upset."

"He is worried about Khushi."

"Really?"

"Yeah... he is facing a tough time with her already... adding to it, this Akanksha..."

"Yes, I can see a change in Chotte.

"If a problem touches the peak, we should think that it's coming to an end." Ratna smiled.

Ratna was right. Arnav reached the hospital with NK in which Akanksha being admitted.

Problem Solved

Lavanya was looking at Khushi's facial expression who was shocked seeing the suicide attempt news of Akanksha. She was admitted to the hospital. Press reporters surrounded crying Akanksha with mikes, asking her about the suicide attempt.
