Chapter 9: Cursed
Part II
...
Katsuki Bakugou, cursed by the Goddess of cats because of scaring the shit out of every cat he spotted. Poor man, the only way to break it is to feel true love from his owner.
Katsuki woke up, feeling kind of dizzy. It's what he felt every time he transformed into human form. Suddenly, a realization hit him. He opened his eyes immediately and saw an unfamiliar place. It is too luxurious for a shabby shaman home. He looked around only to stop when he noticed that he is sleeping on top of someone.
His ears twitched and he looked up, only to find the most handsome man he had seen. The man had an even red and white hair, his eyes were closed which looked very peaceful. The beating of his heart is very steady.
Certainly he didn't want to wake the man up.
Katsuki tried to roll over so he can land on the floor, only to found out that the stranger is hugging him.
Startled, he scratched the man's face, waking him up almost immediately. "What?" The business man said, his hand flailing on the pain over his face. Katsuki jumped and landed on the floor, hissing loudly.
Shouto groaned in pain as the cat man jumped from his legs and landed on the floor. He sat up and grabbed a pillow for defense. Shouto observed the startled man. His cat ears up and so does his tail as he is on all fours. It certainly looked weird.
"Calm down...um-" he tried to remember his name. "Katsuki. I won't hurt you" he said. Katsuki looked at him, probably examining him. He finally calmed down and sat on the floor like a cat does. "Why am I here?"
The businessman was shocked to hear the cat talk. His voice is kind of harsh and cold and his red eyes is also glaring at him, adding up on his intimidation. "The shaman told me you can take care of my bad luck so he gave me, you" he explained.
Katsuki hissed once again, "that stupid old man, giving me to others without my consent. Ugh!" He meowed before standing on his feet and crossing his arms over his chest. Shouto watched him. His pale skin, his lean body, his cat ears and tail...he is irresistible.
The businessman blushed, looking away just to hide his face. "Get in the bathroom, I'll get you some clothes" he announced. Shouto stood up and walked towards Katsuki, he is five inches taller than him. They looked each other eye to eye for like five minutes, looking at each other's features and reading each other's expressions. "Okay" Katsuki finally answered before walking away towards the obvious bathroom door just before the opening in the kitchen.
Shouto's eyes didn't leave the cat man until the bathroom door closed. After a short while, he totally forgot what he needs to do. His mind was too busy thinking about Katsuki. With a deep sigh, he finally snapped put of it. Shouto went in his bedroom and dug out some old clothes that could possibly fit the smaller man.
When he finally decided, he went back in the living room and knocked on the bathroom door; only to hear a loud hissing on the other side. "Get away from here stupid lamia!" He heard. "B-but...this is my home" a boy cried. There was a loud cry of pain on the other side making the businessman nervous.
Shouto opened the door only to find a thrashed bathroom. A green haired boy hiding in the bathtub and Katsuki preached on top of the sink, holding a toothbrush...probably about to throw it on the poor boy. "What is happening? And who are you?" He pointed at the child.
"That thing is your bad luck! I'm about to get rid of it, don't disturb me!" He hissed and threw the toothbrush to the green haired. "No!" It bounced harmlessly on the bathtub. "You stubborn child! Go away! You are causing trouble! Shoo! Slither away!" Katsuki exclaimed with a loud hiss on the end. "I can't!" The boy exclaimed back.
Shouto stood between them, "enough!" He exclaimed, "You, little boy. Walk behind me and exit on the door. Katsuki, calm down" he said. The lamia obeyed immediately. His green tail turned into human legs, he slowly walked out of the tub, only to slip and fall face first on the bathroom floor. "I-I can't control human legs yet" he said, tears starting to roll down his cheeks.
"See! He is a nuisance!" Katsuki grabbed a toothpaste this time, aiming at the fallen boy. Shouto face palmed himself. 'Ugh'
The businessman handed the clothes to the cat man crouched on the sink. "Wash yourself and change. I will deal with this little boh" he said. Katsuki tsked and grabbed the clothes before stepping down from the sink. He noticed Shouto staring at him again, a slight blush crept on his cheeks. "Quit staring creep" he hissed in embarrassment.
Shouto looked away, he scooped the little boy and carried him all the way in the living room then closed the door behind him.
Katsuki watched in dismay. The man may be handsome but he is really weird. He shook the thought and started to turn on the shower.
"Are you okay?" He asked. The green haired boy crawled to a ball as soon as he placed him on the sofa. "Yes" he lied, obviously. "What's your name?"
"Izuku"
"Where did you come from?"
The little boy looked at him, "That's your problem" he said looking at the blue carpet. "Then at least tell me why you chose me as your prey"
"..."
"Then tell me just how much bad luck are you trying to infuse in my life"
"..."
"..."
Shouto sighed, a stubborn child.
