Katsuki held his hands, caressing it gently. His pale bony fingers cold against his own skin. Then he pulled it up to place a soft kiss, his lips feeling the coolness of his skin just as the cold icy powers  coming from that hand.

A golden band glinting under the moonlight, surrounded by tiny diamonds and adorned with shaved silvers. A ring, tight upon his middle finger to show that he was taken. Taken by him, to show their love and responsibility for each other...to show their loyalty for each other.

Such beautiful memories of when they had been married, the smiles, laughs and kisses. Friends applauding as they stood side by side after the kiss of vow upon the great altar in front of the priest. The sound of bells as they rang from the church, signaling the start and the end of the ceremony.

Then the party where they shared a moment to dance, holding his hips and staring at each others eyes. Mesmerizing gray and blue like the stars gazing back at him, then his red blood eyes like a beautiful glinting gem. They swayed and never cared, for they have the time for themselves.

Then they shared a slice on their tall white sweet cake, decorations grand and delicious. Which he only wasted by rubbing some on Katsuki's face; the laughs and the teasing, very refreshing.

Thats when all said goodbye, leaving them alone under the light of the full moon. The wind chilly but he is warm, with the single spark...heat ignited.

A kiss, a touch, a bed, then darkness.

With the silence shattered by moans and rustling. They enjoyed the night with pure happiness and pleasure, though with a hint of pain for Katsuki.

Early morning, they kissed and teased; for they are a new couple ready for new challenges and adventure.

Together they fight in the morning, they held hands on the afternoon and then cuddle on the bed at night.

A life too perfect for either the two of them. Contented of having each other, together, side by side.

Years grew but never did they left each others side. Like yin and yang, never to be broken apart. They felt complete, but then what is this?

He wanted a child, which shocked Katsuki at most. With a blush and a smile, Katsuki laughed; a child can never be born inside a man. There they went, in and out, looking for the one that catches their hearts. The one that will complete their lives as parents and husbands.

A boy, no older than three...walked his way towards them. With dirty blonde hair and sharp grey eyes; she watched them, curious and bored. Not like Katsuki, not like him. But familiar and then, felt their hearts connect.

Little of a discussion and more of an action. Instantly taking him home, an odd name he has...Michelle Todoroki, it is. An archangel's name for a real angel on earth.

It is hard to open up but they did and so they understand. Holding him tight, as they sleep together in bed. They feed him with healthy food which Katsuki cooked and served.

They played and laughed, smiled and talked, cried and angry, sleep and eat. Like a perfect family of three. A triangle, the strongest shape there is.

That's when he grew up, first day of school. Michelle was nervous but was influenced by Katsuki's stubbornness. They said goodbyes and so they are proud.

Katsuki leaned on his shoulder with a smile that warmed his heart; leaned on and kissed. Passionate but short.

Heroes duty, they fight and protect. Afraid for each other. Anytime, one might slip and die. Hopefully, Deku; the number one hero, will help them as always.

Katsuki gave up becoming number one, he didn't care anymore since he have him by his side. He was happy and contented with him. Being third isn't so bad.

Slowly, time went by; Michelle entered highschool, looking for love and training to become a hero like his parents. They helped each other, carried each other and leaned on each other's shoulder.

Until that day...

When Katsuki came home; a round chocolate cake and wine on hand then a smile and robe. It was their anniversary and today is a good day.

Opening the door, the wine fell from his hands in shock. Tears escaped his eyes and a sob from his throat.

There he saw his husband lay, half of his body frozen still. Shock and panic, coursed through his system.

He called help and there they went inside the white walls and air filled of medicine. The hospital. Heroes stood by as the emergency room busied, Deku, Ingenium, Uragravity, Red Riot, Froppy and many others.

They held hands and hoped that he was fine...prayed that he was fine.

The tension slowly rising by the moment until the doors finally opened. A doctor removed his mask, his lips down and eyes on the floor.

Katsuki fell on his knees, tears flowing uncontrollably, his son rubbed his back...trying his best to comfort despite the sadness.

"He wouldn't last"

Those words struck his heart like a painful stab. After all those years that they loved each other...all those years that they are together...he is slowly slipping from his fingers but he wasn't ready to let go.

One by one, the heroes came and go. His childhood friend and his son by his side, they comfort him whenever they can. They talked and so, until his husband was allowed to be visited.

"His powers is unstable, his ice might swallow him soon...his organs will slowly freeze until only his heart and brain remained...then death"

Katsuki wanted to blow those ice away with his explosion but that would be impossible. So he simply watched outside the quarantine area, never leaving.

They communicated through a phone, his weak voice enough to fill his heart. But then he would always look back and see the ice slowly creep its way up. Too cold to be melted..too powerful to be eliminated.

They talked and chatted, but could never hold hands, never be able to kiss and hug.

Tears spilled, strength drained.

Life slowly slipping out of his fingers.
...

"Shouto..." His voice was coated in despair, though he tried to cover it with enthusiasm. Happiness to show that he was still there.

The breathing on the other side of the phone is shallow and painful...as if every breath he take was piercing his lungs. That alone made Katsuki tear up.

"Don't be sad..." His voice is weak but audible... The beeping machines mixed with his voice.

Katsuki wiped a stray tear from his cheek. "I'm...not" he lied in between sobs.

He almost felt his husband's hands over his cheeks, "Your sadness will make me feel guilty when I leave" he said, he can hear the smile from his voice.

Katsuki leaned on the quarantine wall, his forehead on the cool glass...separating him with the one he loved. Even the highest temperature possible is still too weak to melt the ice engulfing his husband.

They can't do anything...

He can't do anything...

And thats the most painful of all.

The glass stained by his tears as he looked up once again.

The ice is now over his chest, the only sign of life is the beeping of the heartbeat detector on the side of the frozen bed.

Slowly, slowly...

It faded into a line.

"Will you ever watch after me? Will you ever watch Michelle grow up? Became a hero? Will you ever...love me back again?"

Katsuki's voice is calm but sad. The despair eating his heart away.

Their was silence and stillness as if time itself had been frozen.

Then there was a faint answer...

"I love you too Shouto"

The machine beeped and the green line went flat, as the last tear slid down his chin.
