Bright as ever within the astral barrier, LilyBlizz and Sofichan24 sighed in relief with content expressions fixed upon their faces. When they say "bright," they really meant the Hoshidan side; Nohr was a as gloomy as ever no matter what.

The two girls were busy enjoying their tea and dango underneath one of the many colorfully pink cherry blossom trees. It was a relaxing feat of their day.

"So what's up?" the archer decided to ask. The peaceful silence was now broken apart as they started to engag with each other into a conversation after who knows how long. They felt like little old ladies.

"Nooooooothinggggggg muchhhhhhhhhh..." Sofichan24 slurred. It was clear that she was already on cloud nine due to the drawl of her voice and her closed calming eyes. "What about you?"

Shrugging, LilyBlizz smiled and set her cup of oolong tea down before leaning back to rest. Really, it was so peaceful because nothing was going on at that very moment.

"Hello there, ladies!"

Spoke too soon...

The archer groaned softly-- bothered by the voice once she heard it-- but remained laying in the soft, naturally woven bed of plants to remain in her comfort.

Sofichan24 giggled a little at her friend's reaction and decided to take a small gander at who it was that wanted to call them out in public. She already knew who it was calling after them, but made sure anyways. It was confirmed to be Laslow.

Of course.

"Would you two care to-"

"No," they both quickly replied.

His confident smile remained, but then quickly grew into a nervous one as the awkward silence flew between them. To fix that, he chuckled to break the uncomfortably formed atmosphere that had already created a barrier to block him from reaching the girls.

"I didn't get-"

"You're not joining us either. Our break is about to end anyways and we're heading back soon," LilyBlizz said, snickering a bit. Even though the statement was a bit straightforward and somewhat rude, she blurted it without a single thought. It only made her feel a bit guilty. Yes, a tad bit.

'I should apologize to the poor guy later...' she thought. The thought only made her guilt grow stronger in her gut since she could've apologized then and there. Oh well.

"Hey, how about asking Peri out for tea? I'm sure she'll love to," the archer suggested quickly.

There she goes trying to rid him now.

"Peri? Where is she right now anyways...?" the ninja next to her asked awkwardly.

"... Good question. I did not think that through."

Meanwhile, Tinted_Memories and UnlikelyKing had headed off to pay a visit to Nohr, dressed up differently in order to conceal their identities from Nohrians. EmblemEverest had to tag along, but she quickly disappeared from the two to go... do something.

A stripped theif ran passed the girls covering up as much of himself as he could while he screamed in a high pitched voice, a slight whimper added to the scream. He didn't care what was around him, but everyone knew he wanted out.

"I found Emblem," the mercenary said, slapping a theif away from snatching her items.

"Let her have her fun," UnlikelyKing giggled nervously.

The two had been busy slapping away grabby hands of gold digging thieves ever since they got there. Anyone who tried touching UnlikelyKing always got their clothes on fire, however.

None of the girls really wanted to start a brawl, but at their rate of protecting themselves, it was nearly impossible to prevent it from happening.

"Gods... I want to get out of here quickly..." Tinted_Memories grumbled, slapping away another hand of a thief.

The thief glared and quickly left them alone before trying another attempt of thievery on the two which continued to fail.

UnlikelyKing sighed as a scream suddenly erupted nearby-- someone had caught on fire because of her protective magic. Not her fault. "Oh? I see our destination from here," the dark mage said, readying her magic to conjure up an orb.

Her friend was too busy fending herself off from their followers to reply at the moment, anger slowly showing on her face as time passed. They really were like roaches, scattering around for survival. Thinking about it disgusted her.

"....." UnlikelyKing sighed again before she decided to use her magic to scare them off without the need to hurt anyone.

All their faces paled when they saw a monster suddenly surround the two girls. This caused them to quickly scamper off in hopes of not being killed.

"Thanks... My hand is starting to hurt..." her mercenary friend said, shaking her throbbing hand.

Now at a secluded area they needed to get to so badly, the dark mage quickly summoned her trusty orb and scanned around the Kingdom of Nohr for Corrin and Kamui to see back in the astral barrier. EmblemEverest was doing the same else where, but it wasn't terribly easy for her to do; many enemies may be lingering near her as she did so.

Now why is it that the Nohrian siblings and one of the dragon nobles not there in Nohr? Well they'd be too easily recognized and Garon would have them killed-- which was possible. Of course they had decided to send off the girls who happened to waste their energy fooling around everyday with games and.... more games.... It was a fine job for the group to take on, right?

"Oh man, this is wayyyyy easier than I thought," UnlikelyKing commented with a grin. The process of viewing the entire area was nearly finished until Tinted_Memories suddenly spotted...

"K-King... We have trouble..." the mercenary warned quietly. "I see Iago nearby....! Hurry!"

Now in a panicking fret, the two began to back away from the man as UnlikelyKing tried to capture everything Garon had done at Nohr as much as she could especially at the castle. The work Garon had put to destroy that nation... It was disturbing. But what was done was... well, done...

"Hm...?" sensing magic coming from else where besides Castle Krakenburg, Iago, quickly looked around the area suspiciously to look for possible intruders.

The girls were now in hiding as UnlikelyKing finished her job quickly. EmblemEverest wasn't done just yet and had to continue until everything on her side was complete. For now, the girl was safe.

Noticing one section of magic fading away, the man had an easier time looking for the other that was still filling the atmosphere up. Instead of staying put, he thought it was a good idea to track it down.

"... Where do you think he's going...?" Tinted_Memories whispered.

"I don't know, but we need to find Emblem and head back immediately... I still feel her pow...ers.... Oh gods..." the dark mage suddenly groaned.

The dark mage looked over at Iago's back, his shrinking figure getting farther and farther away from them.

"What? What now??"

"Emblem is somewhere over there...!" the dark mage hissed.

"Gods, what???"

Abruptly standing up in erected and firm positions, the two swiftly took actions and ran after the man, keeping themselves hidden from him as best as possible.

EmblemEverest was completely unaware of whatever was headed her way as her job continued.

"This is boring..." the mage mumbled.

Iago, frowning a little as the source of magic grew stronger with each steps he took, began to grow more confident in his thoughts. There must be an intruder. More than just AN intruder but multiple.

"I don't see her, but I know she's here somewhere..." UnlikelyKing told the female mercenary.

As she ran to keep up with her friend, her glasses continuously slipped off the bridge of her nose every time she pushed it back up. "That's not good..." she replied panting.

The male dark mage drew nearer to the hidden mage without knowing her exact spot, but within a second later after he arrived, the flow of her magic died as well.

"Hide...!" UnlikelyKing whispered, pushing her friend to safety before hiding herself.

EmblemEverest sighed in relief after exhausting her magic for quite some time.

"... Hm..." Iago hummed.

The man's voice caused her to jump out of her skin and back up against the wall that protected her from eyes. She was now aware that someone unfamiliar was there.

"!"

All they can do now was stay hidden until he was gone.

Remaining hidden for long, the girls truly didn't want to get caught by the dark mage they despised as much as they despised the King of Nohr. Who knows what would happen to them if they got captured at that time.

Plenty of time had passed for sure, so it should be safe to leave now.

PSYCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Of course it's never that easy!

"And what may I ask are you doing?"

EmblemEverest flinched and looked over slowly, her purple eyes wide open from shock and possibly even horror.

"Oh gods...." the other two mumbled.

It was getting late and the girls haven't returned from Nohr yet. A terrible gut feeling slowly started to form in The-Lobster-Queen's stomach for an unknown reason as she played around with her stone. A brief minute later, the kitsune came to a complete stop and stared out into the distance.

"..."

Running off to find Kamui, the kitsune frowned at pratically nothing but her sick intuition.

Something was definitely wrong.

"Lily, Shade, have you seen Emblem, King, and Katie..?" she asked, running into them instead.

The two girls carrying stacks of paper looked over at the curly haired beast before shaking their heads no.

"Not at all. They should be in Nohr," LilyBlizz replied.

"Actually, they should be on their way back," DWN024ShadowMan corrected. "Or even back in the barrier already."

"Oh."

The kitsune looked around, worried for their friends safety. She was all fidgety and it clearly showed how uneasy she was at the moment.

"Is something wrong...?" the archer questioned, slowly getting nauseous herself. It made her question why, but DWN024ShadowMan was getting it too.

"... I feel like.. Something bad happened to them..." the beast explained. "It's just an intuition, but it feels real..."

The two other girls blinked, a bit uneasy since the playfully energetic girl was usually smiling brightly in sunshine and rain. At that very moment, she had quite a serious worried look.

"We can ask Corrin or Kamui if we could go check..." the ninja suggested.

"Oooooh, no no no no no... We are sided with the Hoshidans and we look currently like Hoshidans... All eyes would fall on us! What is there that-"

"We can borrow their clothes," The-Lobster-Queen suggested.

"Awesome possum, we'll do just that," the archer quickly replied even after disagreeing earlier.

She just really wanted to try on King's mage robes since they looked so intriguingly comfy and her beast friend would rather wear EmblemEverest's robes instead since those were more capable of hiding her tail anyways.

Marching off straight to one of the dragon leaders, the ninja and kitsune quickly followed right after her.

"Now I think about it, I think the army would just follow us to Nohr incase anything..." LilyBlizz said.

"But they would send in a small group first to avoid creating a fuss," DWN024ShadowMan said.

"I still want to get the chance to wear those clothes," the archer stated with a snicker.

"It's not about the clothes right now, Lily, it's about their safety!"

... Pursuing what next?
