4 MONTHS LATER

The evening sky faded as the darkness of the night embraced it. The sky twinkled with the dazzling stars, and Akash's eyes mimicked the brightness of the sky above as his face shone with joy. 

He was welcomed by the banner decorated at the entrance of his wedding reception venue.

AKASH WEDS PHALGUNI

A smile adorned his lips as he read the banner. He understood what his father meant back then. Phalguni accepted and liked him as he is, something he wished for in his life partner for a long time. 

Phalguni dressed in a peacock blue silk saree matching Akash's embellished kurta entered the outdoor venue. Her face glowed with happiness in the evening moonlight. They both settled on a luxurious sofa on the stage. Music played as guests started to arrive. The newlywed couple was busy greeting the guests. It was time to take photos. Family and friends congratulated them as they posed for the pictures.

"Hello Akash sir!" Anshu greeted playfully. 

"Hi Anshu!" greeted Akash with the same excitement.

"Phalguni, she's my colleague Anshu," introduced Akash.

"Congratulations and happy married life to both of you!" congratulated Anshu as she handed the gift.

"Well, I see that my prophecy came true!" remarked Anshu.

Akash laughed and narrated the incident to Phalguni.

"Absolutely, I guess you should become a fortune teller then," suggested Akash as he smiled to himself.

"I'm giving it a thought. And where's my fee?" joked Anshu.

Phalguni controlled her laughter as Lucky tickled her from behind.

"Here," said Lucky as she came out from her hideout and gave Anshu a chocolate bar.

"There you go. I hope you accept chocolates as fees," continued Akash.

Phalguni laughed at their silly exchange.

"Of course! But I should be giving chocolates to the children. Shall we share it?" Anshu asked Lucky.

"No, I have my own," replied Lucky, showing hers.

"Who's this cutie?" asked Anshu as she patted Lucky's head and smiled.

"She's my niece Bhuvi," replied Akash as Lucky ran to play.

Anshu posed for a picture with the couple and congratulated them once again as she left to enjoy the evening.

The photographer was busy taking the solo pictures of the couple as they posed a ton to the camera. They took a break from posing different stills and settled down. 

"Phalguni, you know, my father once told me that a name can mean a million things, but it's up to the person what that everything means," said Akash.

Phalguni smiled at him.

"Akash, you know, Akash means the sky and Phalguni means the star. Stars always belong in the sky, and that's what everything means to me," replied Phalguni.

Akash smiled as he gently held her hand. Phalguni took the opportunity and slid the gold bracelet onto his hand. His eyes widened at the surprise. Phalguni cheekily smiled at him as he shook his head and gave her a known smile, holding her hand tightly. The candid moment did not miss the lens of the camera.

"I've a surprise for you too at home," whispered Akash.

The event ended on a happy note, and Phalguni was tired as they reached home. As she entered their room, Phalguni found a trunk box painted in royal blue with peacock feather designs on the bed.

"Beautiful!" exclaimed Phalguni.

"Open it," said Akash, leaning to the door frame.

Her eyes softened, and a smile made its way onto her face as she opened the box. She wiped her tears and gently touched the Veena. The same one she sold a few years back due to financial issues.

She turned to look at Akash with admiration and love.

"There's still more," he replied as he took out the flute and started to play her favourite song.

"Wow!" squealed Phalguni as the tune ended on a melodious note.

"When did you learn to play the flute professionally?" Phalguni questioned. 

"I didn't. I only learnt to play this song in these four months," replied Akash, smiling at her excitement.

Phalguni couldn't thank enough. She was grateful to have Akash in her life.

"Well... 'Music and lyrics composed together can do wonders just like you and me,' what do you say, Mrs. Architect?" teased Akash. 

"Well, it's a yes for me, Doctor Akash," replied Phalguni with a wink.

Akash pulled her closer as they embraced the new beginnings.
