Title pt.2
They're important. Definitely.
If you have a really shit title, you might as well be feeding your book to a bunch of hungry baboons.
It's gonna be eaten. And not in a good way. People aren't going to take note of it. Yes they may read it, but if it's a title like "The story of Rick's sisters, brothers, mothers, dogs, fishes, baboons friend" ain't no one remembering it.
// Also, I'm not sure where the sudden obsession with baboons came from. Like, wtf?
People want a title that's good, solid and memorable. For example "Elastic Heart" (I'm not sure if that's a book in my library, which is why it came to mind, or not. If it is, check it out. If not....um...well done)
You're gonna remember it because, A, it's a song and, B, it's simple and worth remembering.
But one the note of songs. Don't just name all of your stories after songs, it gets boring and overused eventually. And not to mention, there's probably already a book with the same title. Just saying.
