Hey, so if you don't know, Britain is currently battling 'The Beast Of the East' which is a great name, honestly. -_- But on top of that we also have another storm heading our way, storm Emma. And when that mixes with The Beast Of The East it's going to produce more snow than we already have.

And let me tell you, it's chaos outside. The roads are slippy, the snow just keeps piling up and most schools have a snow day --Apart from us.

Well, we have got a snow day but we didn't at 7 this morning.

So, the story goes:

I get up at 6 every morning to catch a bus at 7 to get to my grandma's which is a 30 minute walk away. My bus gets there at about 5-10 past. However this morning, due to the snow, it didn't turn up and so I was stood there for 20 minutes...Freezing!

Anyway, the bus didn't come, blah, blah, blah. So my mum took me through. I got there, the roads were horrendous and so I only had 10 minutes to eat my breakfast, tie my hair up and brush my teeth, all while my hands warmed up.

Before I left, I checked the schools Facebook page where they stated school was open as usual and that everyone should go careful. So, I left to catch a bus to school that normally gets to my grandma's at 7:43. Obviously, today it was late by ten minutes and so I got on and was on for about 5 minutes when my mum rang me. The conversation went like this:

"Hey, where are you?"

"At the doctors, why?"

"Schools just closed, I'll come meet you"

At this point, I pressed the button to get off before I went any further. My friend was sat next to me and I told her so we gt off and started walking back home. My mum then proceeded to meet me and it was chaos at my grandma's street because there is an old persons home (Care home) at the top of the street so there were cars everywhere. As we walked back the snow came down harder and got faster.

Anyways, I reached my grandma's and I checked Facebook, snapchat, the usual and saw that lots of people had reached school and school had told them it was closed.

How unorganized!?

Everyone, of course, was annoyed.
