Doesnt it bore you when there's no difference in sentence structure?

Sure bores me.

And if you are completely clueless as to what I'm blubbering about, let me indulge you.

Complex sentences. Basic stuff.

We got a main clause (the big daddy)

And the subordinate clause (the lil chicken)

Main clause- The part of a sentence which makes sense on its own.

Subordinate clause- The part of the sentence which doesnt make sense on its own.

Typically the subordinate clause goes after the main clause. For example /

Tom grabbed his shirt, torn and stained.

See, 'torn and stained' doesn't make sense on its own.

Often people keep the subordinate clause in the same place.
