So, your character has to be realistic, right? Yes. Definitely.

You want the reader to bond with the character. You want to make that connection so the reader feels how the character feels.

So when they are really rich and perfect, they aren't relatable because, news flash; Nobody's perfect.

If you want to have a good, true effect on the reader they need to be able to connect to the OC.

This is important but I feel like this is something not a lot of people consider, myself included.
