Chapter Two

Len

"Um, Kaito." I said.

"Yeah? What is is?" Kaito asked.

"I've already walked around the whole school. I don't really need a tour."

"What?" He thought for a second then freaked out.

"What?! Fukase where are you?!"

Kaito started off in the direction that Fukase had run off in.

"Where are you?!" he shouted. I decided to follow him because I didn't know where Rin was.

"Kaito, don't be so angry. He didn't know that I've already taken a tour around the school. I should've told him." I said.

"It's ok. But I'm still gonna kill him." Kaito said.

"I could go and find him." I suggested. "Just wait here." I ran off to go find Fukase.

"Where are you Fukase?" I called. "Where are you?" I ran through the hallways to find the redhead.

"I'm not going to kill you. I just want to know where you are. Please."

I found Rin hanging out with Piko. I didn't know that she had already become friends with him.

"Fukase?"

I ran up to my twin. "Rin, have you seen a redheaded boy?" I asked her.

"Hm? Oh, there was a boy who ran past me. He looked at me strangely and I don't know why." RIn said.

"We look similar that he might have thought you were me." I explained.

"Well, he kept running 'till he got to the bathrooms." she called as I ran off to find him.

I slowly walked into the empty bathroom. I didn't want to freak him out.

"Hey, Fukase? Are you in here?" I asked.

"*huff* Len? Oh god, Len?!" Fukase said. I saw him get up and try to run.

"Damn it." he muttered.

"Fukase, Kaito's just mad. It was my fault. I didn't tell you that I already gave myself a tour of the school." I said.

"Kaito is still going to kill me." Fukase crossed his arms.

"I'll try to keep him from killing you."

"Fine."

We made it back to Kaito, who was still around the same place when I left him to find Fukase. He looked angry.

"H-hi Kaito. How's... life?" Fukase said nervously.

Kaito gave Fukase a death glare.

"Please don't kill him. It was my fault."

"Sorry, Kaito! I'm really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really sorry!" Fukase bowed.

We heard the bell ringing. Class was going to start.

I ran off to go find Rin.

"Um, see you later." I called to the two. They didn't hear me.

"Hi Rin." I said.

"Hey, LenLen. You're finally here. Class is about to start." Rin said.
"Why do you keep calling me that? You know I hate it." I complained.

"Because, it's cute, that and I love to tease you about that." Rin glomped me.

"Get off of me." I struggled to push Rin off of me.

"Oh, look. It's Oliver. Hey!" Rin let go of me and went to strangling Oliver.

"Hi. You two are really cute together." Oliver said.

"Rin, can you please try to not strangle everyone with your death hugs." I said and tried to pry her off of Oliver.

"Seriously, I think you're choking him. His face is turning pink."

"H-help..." Oliver managed to choke out. "C-can't b-breathe."

"Oh, sorry. You are a lot like Len. Cute and adorable." Rin said and gave Oliver one last quick squeeze.

Rin always hugged anything and everything that was cute and cuddly. Small pets and people like me.

"Can't you control yourself around cute things?" I asked.

"No." Rin stuck her tongue at me. "You can't tell me what to do."

Sweet Ann-sensei came into the room. "We're starting class now." she said.

Oh great. Gym class is soon. Hopefully I don't end up with the girls' gym uniform. I'm not a girl, I'm a guy.

I heard something about English literature, a class that I never understood. We were given a worksheet where we were to translate a bit of Shakespeare to Japanese. I turned in a poorly translated sonnet. I double checked it and it made no sense even when I tried to correct it.

"Rin, did you understand any of it?" I asked.

"Yep. I'm guessing that your translation turned out completely nonsensical."

"Yeah. I've never been good at English." Even though French and English are more similar than French and Japanese, I still don't understand the two.

"I managed to turn Shakespeare's sonnet into something that makes absolutely no sense. Could you tell me what some of it actually was?" I asked.

"Sure."

blah, blah, blah I don't know any Shakespeare

"Thanks, Rin."

We sat there chatting until the next subject started and then 'til gym class.

"Rin, I think the school is saying that I'm a girl." I said holding up my gym uniform.

"Just deal with it. You should be thankful that you have clothes that fit you." Rin said.

"Where am I supposed to change?"

"Um, go to the boys' locker room and change there." Rin suggested.

"But they'll think I'm a girl." I protested.

"Just go." Rin said and pushed me out of the girls' locker room.

I slipped into the guys' locker room and the guys freaked out.

"Why is there a girl in here?!"

"She's cute."

I ran to the corner next to Oliver and changed there.

"H-hi Oliver." I said meekly.

I noticed Fukase and Kaito staring at me. I locked eyes with Kaito for a second, blushed and turned away from them and continued on.

Kaito

While I was busy putting my shirt on Len came into the room. He made his way to the corner of the room. I stared at Len changing. He was small and cute and I wanted to cuddle him.

"Perv." I heard Fukase mutter.

I ignored him and continued to stare. He was so cute.

"Kaito, you're staring." I was elbowed. "Kaito, Kaito!" I finally snapped out of it. "Stop being a pervert! You're going to make things awkward the next time you talk to Len." Fukase said.

"Well, sorry. It's not my fault he's so cute." I retorted.

Len looked over at us staring at him. We locked eyes for a second. Len blushed and he turned away from me.

"Hey." I elbowed Fukase in the ribs. "Look at the person next to Len. Do you think he's cute?" I asked.

"W-what?! No! O-of course not!" Fukase stammered. He did like the mystery boy.

He was about Len's age. He was also small and adorable. Like what Fukase would call a cinnamon roll.

"Is he a cinnamon roll?" I asked him.

"Huh? U-uh, well... I-I guess..."

"Why don't you go over there." I said and shoved Fukase towards the two.

I wanted to watch their interaction.

"Um... hey Len..." I heard Fukase say.

"Good luck." I called and left.

Len

I saw Kaito push Fukase towards me and Oliver.

"Um... hey Len..." Fukase said awkwardly.

"Good luck." Kaito shouted and left Fukase alone.

"What's Kaito trying to do?" I asked.

"Trying to pair me up like I did with him." Fukase said.

"Well, this is Oliver. Um, I'll leave you two to... talk." I then hurried off.

"Hey Kaito!" I shouted.

"Hi Len. Where is Fukase and that other person?" he asked me.

"I left them in the locker room. The other person is Oliver." I said.

"Oh, we abandoned them. Well, let's just leave them be." Kaito said and continued on.

"Why can't we go back? They might be mad at us."

"Eh, I guess. C'mon, let's go." Kaito quickly made his way to the locker room.

"Wait up! I'm not that fast." I called as Kaito half sprinted.

"Slow down!"

"Well, if you can't catch up I'll just carry you." Kaito said.

He picked me up bridal style and carried me to the locker rooms. I hid my face in my hands to hide my embarrassment.

"Aw, you're so cute." Kaito teased. He squeezed me tightly.

"Stop it. I hate being hugged like this." I complained and tried to smack Kaito's arms in attempt to get him to let me go.

"Let go. It hurts." I said.

"You're just too cute." He set me down and messed up my hair.

"Hey, why did you do that?" I asked.

"Ahem." We turned to see Fukase and Oliver. "You two lovebirds done?" They were both giving us death stares.

"It's Kaito's fault." I pointed at Kaito. "He picked me up and started to carry me."

"Aw, that's cute." Oliver said.

"You too?"

"Hell yeah!" Fukase said.

"Hey Oliver." Kaito said.

"Yeah..."

"If you wanna, you can hang out with Fukase and me after school."

"Um... s-sure..." Oliver murmured.

"Do you want to join us Len?" Kaito asked.

"N-no thanks. I have something to do after school." I said.

"Really?"

"Yeah. Sorry I can't join."

skipping to after school (it's kinda boring to cover more classes and cleanup)

I arrived at my job a few minutes early since I hated my uniform. I worked at a maid café.

"Luka, I'm ready." I called out as I adjusted my dress before going out.

Kaito

I noticed Fukase and Oliver standing over near the front gate.

"I'm here!" I shouted as I approached.

"Where to?" Oliver asked.

"Ask Fukase. He knows an amazing place." I said.

"I do?" I elbowed him in the arm. "Er, I guess I do."

"Yeah. Birthday present." I said. I hope that he got what I was hinting at.

Fukase had gotten a maid café for his birthday. Luka's parents had let her do whatever she wanted with their shop, so she turned it into a maid café for Fukase to fangirl.

"Did you get it?" I asked him. Hopefully he did or else it would be very disappointing.

"Yep! Let's go!" Fukase said.

The walk to the café was quiet.

C'mon Kaito. Think of something to talk about. This silence is too awkward.

"So, um what do you think of a café, Oliver?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"Um, well, I've only been to one about three times. They're nice."

"So, what's it like to live in Japan?" Oliver asked the two of us.

"I was hard at first to learn the formalities." Fukase said. Even though Fukase has been in Japan for two years I keep forgetting that he was originally from America.

"Well, I've lived in Japan my whole life. Things the world finds weird here is normal for me." I said. "So, Oliver, where are you from?"

"I'm from Great Britain." Oliver said.

"Oh, that's cool. Hey, we're here." I announced.

I pushed the door open and let the two in first.

"After you."

Len

"Len you go take their orders." Luka said. She pointed to Oliver, Fukase and Kaito.

"I don't want to." I whined.

"Do it." Luka shoved me forward.

"I don't want them to make fun of me."

"You know Fukase?" Luka asked.

"Yeah."

"Well good luck. Fukase is an otaku."

"I-I know." I said meekly.

Calm down, Len. It'll be okay. Hopefully they won't notice you.

I took a deep breath before speaking. "H-hi, welcome to Moon Angel Café." I said. "W-what wo-" Fukase cut me off.

He jumped up and hugged me. "Aw! You're just so cute! You're so small and adorable too!" he said.

I wish he didn't fangirl so much. I'm being strangled my him. I hated being glomped and strangled from hugging.

I calmed down and then asked Fukase. "C-can you please let go? I need to do my job."

Fukase let me go then sat down. I was finally able to breathe.

"Are you ready to order?" I asked. "I'm sure you may have had time to figure out what you would like."

I hoped I wouldn't have to see them a whole lot while I'm at work. I didn't need anymore torture, I've already gotten tortured by Luka, Meiko and Rin. I didn't need any from them.

"I'll have a glass of water." Fukase said.

You could have gone to the store and gotten water.

"Um... I guess... hot chocolate." Oliver said nervously.

"A vanilla milkshake." Kaito said.

I wrote the orders down and went to the kitchen.

Kaito

"So, how do you know this place?" Oliver asked.

"This was my birthday present." Fukse replied.

""Excuse me?"

"This was Luka's parents' shop." I explained. "And they let Luka do whatever she wanted to do with it. So, she turned it into a maid café for Fukase's birthday. So... he can fangirl."

I sighed. He's been obsessed with manga and anime ever since Luka, Meiko and I introduced it to him. I never figured out how he had gotten to the point of fangirling over crossdressing or cute things.

"Do you think our waitress looks familiar?" I asked them.

"Well, I know Len has a twin sister, I guess it's her. Or him, you never know." Oliver said.

"I didn't know he has a twin." I said.

"You think she's cute, Kaito?" Fukase asked and gave a smug smile. "Reminds me of Len."

"One, I'm gay. I dated you for a while. Two, Len's kinda shy and quiet." I said.

"Wait, what?! Y-you're gay?! A-a-and you d-dated him?!" I kinda expected that kind of reaction from him.

"Well... yeah, it's a long story." Fukase muttered.

We noticed our waitress walking towards us with our drinks in one of those round metal trays. I noticed that one of her shoelaces were untied. She stepped on the laces and tripped, all of the drinks splashing on me. Hot chocolate, water and milkshake burned and froze the places they landed. Fukase was hiding behind me so he was dry.

Owwwww! Hot, hot, hot! It burns!

She was sitting on the ground, crying.

"I-I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't m-mean to!"

"It's okay." I said trying to ignore the burning and freezing liquid.

"I-it's all my f-fault!" she wailed.

"It's not your fault, you tripped."

Len

I hurried to get Kaito, Fukase and Oliver their drinks.

"Len, you're shoelaces are untied." Luka said.

"I'll tie them after." I said.

I navigated through the crowded café to get to them. I started falling forward and I spilt the drinks all over Kaito.

I crumpled to the ground and started to cry.

"I-I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't m-mean to!" I wailed.

"It's okay." Kaito said.

"I-it's all my f-fault!"

"It's not your fault, you tripped." Kaito said.

"Are you okay Kaito?!" Meiko shouted and came running up to him.

"I'm okay, Meiko." Kaito said.

"Are you sure?!"

"Really, I'm fine."

Meiko sighed. "Well, you won't have to pay for the spilled drinks. We'll get you new ones right away." She then left for the kitchen.

"I-i'm sorry. I'll go now." I got up and ran.

"Luka, can I go home for the rest of the day?" I asked.

"Sure, we'll get Merli to take your place." Luka said.

I ran to go change and then went home.

Kaito

Instead of the our waitress it was another.

"Sorry, Leah went home so I'll be your waitress for the rest of the time. I'm Merli." Merli said and left.

"Leah?" Fukase and Oliver asked.

"Hm, I thought that was Len, but I guess not." I said.

Luka

"So... who was the new waitress?" Fukse asked.

"Oh, that's Len."

Fukase made a weird face at my response.

"W-wait... that was Len?!"

"Oh, yeah. He said he knew you." I said.

"Len is such a cutie! And he is good at his job! I guess today was different." Meiko said while wiping down tables. "You wouldn't believe who waits tables and cooks! Ritsu is amazing!"

"So the cook is... Ritsu?" Fukase questioned

"Yeah, we also found out Len was a boy after we hired him. But more people came because he's cute. So, Len hands out flyers." I said.

Fukase looked at me with a straight face.

"Don't look at me! It was Meiko's idea!"

Fukase looked at Meiko.

"Meiko, Len's shy as heck. You're torturing him." he said.

"Well, sorry! Then let's talk about Oliver!" Meiko said.

"U-uh..." Fukase stuttered. "W-what's there t-to talk about?"

"You like him! We can see how you smile at him!" Meiko exclaimed.

Fukase's face turned bright red at Meiko's words. To avoid looking at us he started sweeping again.

"Aha! You DO like Oliver don't you?!"

"W-well... maybe I think he's cute and is a little cinnamon roll... b-but that doesn't mean I like him! The only guy I fell in love with is Kaito and I don't think I'll fall in love with any other guy!"

Fukase's face became bright red once more.

"It's fine Fukase. Even if you like him or not, we won't tell anyone or him." I smiled.

"T-thanks, let's get back to cleaning." Fukase said.

Len

I got home, put on my pyjamas and hid under my covers.

"Len? Are you okay?" Rin asked.

"No." I said.

"You're hiding under the covers. Something's wrong."

I poked my head out. "I embarrassed myself in front of the whole café. I tripped on my shoelaces then spilled drinks on Kaito." I said.

"It's okay. They didn't know it was you." Rin said.

"I hope they didn't. I'll never be able to live this down."

"Do you like Kaito?"

"No! H-he's a guy a-and I'm a guy. Wah! Stop teasing me!" I cried and hid again.

"No, I'm just wondering. You were talking about him a lot after we got home."

"Okay, fine. I may have the tiniest crush on him." I felt my cheeks heating up.

"You're so cute!" Rin said. "Well, I'm going to make something to eat, want anything?"

"Sure. I don't care what. When's Lily coming home?"

"Soon."

"Get out and let me die in peace." I said.

2961 words. Geez.
