Questions + Answers

WHERE DO I WRITE THESE?

You can write then in a separate book, but if you have a one-shot book/book for random things, you can publish them in there. If you go with the separate book option, be sure to tag it with #wrestlingweek2017. Though if you're posting them in an already published book, tag/dedicate the chapters to this account.

DO THEY HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN LENGTH?

No, they don't. They're all one-shots that can be however long you want them to. If you want to write 10,000 words on one prompt, go ahead. If you only want to write 500 words, that's fine by me. As long as you're able to get the prompt across, word count doesn't matter.

CAN I USE AN OC (ORIGINAL CHARACTER)?

I tossed this question back and forth, because I too hold some of the Wrestler/OC couples I've created close to my hearts. However, I ultimately decided that no OCs could be used during wrestling week. This is due to original characters needing time to be developed/introduced, which would have to happen if we want them to have a connection with readers, and there's not enough time to build that connection while also focusing on the prompt + plot.

By using a wrestler/wrestler pairing, you have two characters that are already well-developed and that most readers will already be familiar with. Because of that they'll be able to connect with the characters and story you're telling a lot more.

CAN I WRITE THEM IN ADVANCE?

Of course. If you haven't started writing them already, you should go ahead and start now. You can write them all in advance and publish it when the day of that prompt comes.

DO I HAVE TO WRITE FOR EVERY PROMPT?

I mentioned this in the introduction, but no. You can pick and choose the prompts you want to write for, though I do advise trying to write for all of them.

DOES THE SHIP I USE MATTER?

Absolutely not. You can write with two wrestlers from WWE, two from the independent circuit, one wrestler from the indies and one from the WWE. Boy/Girl, Boy/Boy, Girl/Girl, it doesn't matter. Write with whatever ship you want to see in these scenarios + have fun doing it.

If you're not much of a wrestler/wrestler shipper, message me and I'll be glad to help you pick a ship to write about.

If anyone has anymore questions, please don't hesitate to ask them!
