This is the author here! I am making this as a special and this won't be apart of the original story. Just a special, still should read it if you like this story though :P

Naruto couldn't help but sigh as he was walking around in silence, Konohagakure was a glorious village, He loved it with all of his fiber, but no one here really gave any care to him. The Kyuubi being sealed inside of him since October 10th exactly 14 years ago. He paused as he looked down at his feet stepping one foot in front of the other. He hummed lightly before he saw many of his 'Friends' and fellow genin, it seemed that Kurenai and Asuma were talking while the two teams were sitting down talking.

"Hey, guys." Naruto smiled slightly, Maybe one of them might remember, he thought internally. "Oh hey, Naruto!" Kiba grinned slightly as he walked over before putting up his hand in a whisper. "Please save me, this blond is driving me nuts!" He whispered out his plea, Shikamaru and Choji heard it and also... the said blond. "What was that Kiba!?" Ino shouted while Shikamaru and Choji nodded to Naruto, obviously agreeing with Kiba. "N-Nothing Ino!" 

Naruto smiled at that but it seemed they weren't entirely remembering. "What are you guys doing here?" He asked curiously, it was strange for teams just to be doing nothing but sitting around. "Apparently Asuma called us all here, we don't know why I thought you heard and were coming over?" Kiba asked fairly confused while Naruto shook his head. "Sensei is always late, he probably was going to be late so I decided to sleep in." Naruto crossed his arms in annoyance while Kiba chuckled sheepishly at the other's misfortune of a sensei.

After waiting another hour with the other genin, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi finally appeared before them while Naruto gave a pointed glare at his sensei who seemed to be in his own little world reading his book. "What is it Asuma? I was helping some poor woman." He asked turning the page. Asuma rolled his eyes at that. "this was urgent Kakashi! The Daimyo is here and he wants all of us at his ball he is throwing here for the fall of the Kyuubi!" Kakashi paled at the thought, hopefully, he wasn't 'to' late.

"The Daimyo? Why would he do that now?" Naruto asked curiously, he never did this before if he recalled. "It's complicated, but he wants to make sure that everyone knows that even if we lost many people we survived." The genin smiled at that, they were too young or not even born when it happened so they couldn't comprehend what the older generation feels, but they survived, they were the lucky ones. "I see." Naruto hummed before he looked down at his clothes in regret.

He defiantly needed to be there as urgent Asuma made it, but he didn't have anything to wear. He looked over towards their senseis who seemed to be talking briefly. "I don't exactly have anything to wear," Naruto said with a slight blush. "Why are you asking them Naruto? Why not ask your parents." The blond tensed as Sakura asked the question. Kakashi heard Naruto the first time and the question and couldn't help but grimace at the poor choice of a question.

"It's okay Naruto, we can find you something," Kurenai said smiling, The blond sighed in relief before turning away from Sakura who seemed to be confused at the avoision of the question. Shikamaru walked up to her and gave him a shake of his head. "He's an orphan Sakura." The whisper was so quiet she barely heard it. She bit her lip on her error, she knew he was... but why would she forget at this time. 

Naruto walked with Kurenai who seemed to be idly chatting with him... Naruto knew exactly why and chose to tune her out and gave small answers to her questions. She was pulling him away from the others so he didn't have to think of the question Sakura asked him. He sighed slightly before they began walking into a clothing store. Naruto stopped briefly close to the door,  looking towards Kurenai who stopped as well, giving him a curious look. "I-I probably should wait outside..." 

Kurenai frowned at that, seeing his hesitation to go inside. "I-I'll pay you the amount you pay." Naruto reasoned making her sigh slightly, "Naruto, I don't know your size." She reasoned making him tense and gulped. Knowing full well what will happen if he enters those doors. giving a look of hesitation he slowly began walking inside, hiding in the Jounin's shadow. They began walking around before a lady from the front walked up to her. "Hello! Is there anything I can help you with.

Kurenai smiled slightly, "Yes, we are looking for some formal Kimonos? Is there any in stalk?" She asked curiously making the lady nod happily, "You said "We"?" She asked curiously before Kurenai stepped out of the way but Naruto kept hiding behind her... but the lady saw the slight scurring blond. "YOU! I Told you to stay OUT of my store!" She raised her hand against him and Naruto flinched at the action only for Kurenai to grab her hand and smile sickly sweet at her. "To attack a Ninja of Konoha... You do realize that is an executable offense."

She pulled her hand away and pointed towards the blond as if it was a rat in the corner of the room. "Then why hasn't this DEMON got executed!? He killed thousands 14 years ago!" Naruto felt his hands shaking before he turned and ran out the door, his tears freely flowing down. He wasn't one to cry, no of course not, he bottled everything up until it hit him with enough force that every other emotion came out...

Naruto rounded a corner wiping his eyes before he ran into someone, twisting himself he landed on the ground with someone on top of him. "Ow.." Naruto groaned and wiped his eyes briefly trying to rid the tears and to see who he bumped into. When he did open his eyes he saw a red-haired teen about his age staring at him curiously with silver eyes staring at his blue ones. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't see where I was going." Naruto said before looking away from the curious orbs.

"It's okay, I was kinda not paying attention either." The boy laughed sheepishly before getting up off the concrete before holding out his hand for the blond to grab. "You hurt?" Naruto looked at the boy and defiantly knew that he was not from here and grabbed his awaiting hand. "N-No I'm fine..." getting pulled up he was standing up in front of the slightly taller teen, the teen was smiling sheepishly at the awkward exchange before he stopped and his eyes turned into concern. "Were you crying?" 

Naruto blinked before he noticed his eyes were hurting, probably red from crying and running in the wind. "Ah, It's nothing," Naruto said wiping his eyes quickly before the silver-eyed teen grabbed his hand that was slightly scratched from the fall and gave his eyes a look again. "Doesn't seem like nothing." The blond's mind started to whirl before he thought of an excuse. "I just can't find a Kimono for the ball tonight, I'm supposed to help with the Jounins and I think I'm going to get in trouble." 

The other nodded his head before humming. "I have some extra Kimono's if you want, I'm going to that ball tonight." He said with a grin making Naruto tilt his head curiously. "Really? Oh, thank you so much! uhh..." Naruto paused briefly looking at the other boy. "What's your name?" The mystery boy laughed at that and pulled the hand of the blond close to his lips and gave it a kiss. "I'm Ryouichi, you can call me Ryou, and you are?" Naruto blushed in embarrassment and pulled his hand away slightly baffled. "N-Naruto." 

The now named Ryouichi smiled at him and lightly waved the boy to follow him. "So Naruto, when we are at the ball Do I get the first dance?" Ryouichi grinned making Naruto scoff slightly. "Why would you want to dance with me, I'm a nobody." the blond couldn't help but think it was kinda the opposite, he was treated like someone that did the most heinous crime. "Mmmm Well you still owe me for letting you borrow one of my Kimono~" Ryouichi sang innocently while Naruto shook his head in disbelief. "Fine, you can have my first dance." 

"Oh really! It's an honor Naruto-sama!" 

"S-SHUT UP IDIOT!" 

"Ahahaha we are going to have so much fun!" Ryouichi laughed happily at the blushing blond as he snaked his arm around his shoulders. Naruto couldn't help but smile at the boy's charisma... but then the doubt within his mind slowly weaved its way back into his mind as he tensed. Ryouichi felt it briefly and looked at him with a grin. "So tell me more about you! I think you owe me bumping into me." He winked making Naruto roll his eyes, he already said sorry as well but he decided to indulge the teen. 

"What do you want to know." Ryouichi hummed as they kept on walking, Naruto getting used to the arm around him like a lazy cat... he couldn't help but remember Tora in his early genin days and shuddered. "What do you like to do?" Naruto's thoughts stopped at that and looked curiously at the sky, no one has ever asked him that... "I like training and... I don't know, I really never do anything besides train..." The blond muttered making Ryouichi frown at his look, it looked so far off, like he wasn't even there.

He stopped briefly and looked towards the park they were passing and stopped with a grin. "Then let's find out what you like!" Naruto being pulled caught him off guard as he was in his own thoughts, "H-Hey!" They entered the park briefly before Ryouichi put him onto the swing before placing his feet on either side of Naruto, standing on the swing, Naruto looked up at him curiously before he started to push forward and backward making the swing go back and forth fairly high. Naruto smiled slightly, feeling the wind blow through his hair and he slowly closed his eyes.

Ryouichi chuckled happily before he stopped the swing briefly, "Do you wanna try?" The grin on Naruto's face made him smile, that was a different look altogether. Switching places Naruto began mimicking what Ryou did and they were going as high as before. Ryouichi's head was against Naruto's stomach making the blond have a slight flinch before he lightly relaxed and couldn't help but laugh happily with the other. "I've never done this before! Haha!" Naruto smiled widely as he pushed forward again then back.

Ryou smiled at that and slowly skidded his feet on the ground, Naruto looked down at him in curiosity as he lightly got up from the swing. "Come, we gotta go get our Kimonos, it will be starting soon anyway." Naruto nodded at that, he was completely immersed in the presence of the other that he completely forgot why he was with Ryou in the first place. He lightly tried to get down from the swing but then immediately wobbled from the swings displacement.

Naruto fell forward only for Ryouichi to catch him in his arms. "Man you must be falling for me." Ryouichi gave a sly smirk making Naruto flush at the position and contact from the other boy. Naruto stood up, getting out of the boys grasp quickly and he looked over away from the red-head.  "Stupid..." He muttered silently before feeling a hand grab his own and started pulling him along. "Alrighty then... next question." 

Right... They were still playing this game. "How old are you?" Naruto looked at him in curiousness, of course, he was asking all the normal questions.. "fourteen." Ryou grinned and stopped curiously. "Well, when do I need to get you a birthday present?" Ryouichi asked with his grin plastered on his face. Naruto flinched slightly... "You don't have too... it's not like we're friends..." Ryouichi stopped briefly and looked towards the blond... it was as if he was saying that to everyone in his life.

"Do you want to be my friend?" He asked the blond making the blonds hand tense at the question... That confirmed it for Ryouichi, the blond wasn't asked this question before... "I was born 14 years ago... Today's my birthday... Not like anyone else knows..." Naruto whispered and pulled his hand away from the boy who seemed to be frowning in concern. "You were born on the night of the Kyuubi attack?" Ryouichi asked making the blond nod. "I don't have any parents... No friends... and no family. There you go.. You know more than anyone else about me than in this village." 

Naruto smiled a grim smile before the blond was pulled towards Ryouichi and was held in an embrace. "I'm sorry... My father died four years ago and my mother died when I was six..." He whispered making Naruto freeze briefly, feeling the breath against his ear made a chill run up his spine. The blond stayed there in his embrace for a brief moment before Ryou pulled away and gave a smile of his own. "Now you know me more than anyone in this village." Ryouichi gave a grin, closing his eyes as he did while Naruto was staring at him... trying to comprehend this teen that was in front of him.

Ryouichi opened his eyes and held out his hand. "Come, the ball will be starting soon... and I need to get back to my... guardian... he will not be happy with me if I'm late." Ryouichi chuckled sheepishly making Naruto smile slightly before he grabbed ahold of his hand and they began walking in a comfortable silence...

Ryouichi pulled Naruto into where the ball where was being held at and Naruto couldn't help but look around curiously then looking at Ryouichi questionably. Ryouichi smiled slightly. "I'm not from the village of course, just here for the ball..." Ryou trailed off making Naruto nod with a sad smile... he was pulled into a room before Ryouichi grabbed the closet door and pulled out two Kimonos before lightly handing one to Naruto. "This should fit you, I need to go changed quickly and find my guardian... See you soon." Ryou gave a grin before winking making Naruto roll his eyes and look around the room.. it was fairly empty.

He wasn't surprised though, this building was only used for fancy things that the Damiyo held but it wasn't used for much else, it'd be a waste to have anything else in it. He looked down at his Kimono and saw seals lining the edges and looked at it in awe and wonder... How did the boy get these size altering seals... he shook his head and stripped before putting on his Kimono, placing all of his training weights and clothing in a neat fold before slowly looking around the room for a bathroom... Knowing his hair was messed up from his many falls with Ryouichi...

"Man you must be falling for me."  The sentence echoing back into his mind and he couldn't help but a smile to edge his lips. "Stupid... Just cause he's a charmer doesn't mean he can play with someone's feelings... Idiot.." Naruto shook his head. He was playing for the same team... Like that would ever happen. Naruto gave a dry chuckle to himself before washing out the slight dust and grim out of his hair before grabbing a towel that was loosely hanging.

Drying his hair he heard the door open and looked around the corner only to see someone he didn't recognize. "I'm almost done if you need the bathroom!" Naruto said before quickly patting his head and rubbing it with the towel. "It's alright, take your time." It was a woman he never has seen before... perhaps she was in a similar situation as Ryouichi... speaking of which why would Ryou be at this ball for... Maybe he was a guard! He was really quick to catch him...

Naruto's mind wondered again before he lightly placed the towel back where he had found it before walking into the room where the woman was grabbing another Kimono from the closet. "Pardon me." Naruto gave a slight bow before she gave a slight curious look towards the boy before shaking her head in curiosity. "Iren-chan! are you in here?" Another woman was heard before Naruto closed the door.

Naruto looked around the ballroom that started to fill up before seeing a few genins slowly walking around, taking in the ballroom and some were talking. He saw his team around and he couldn't help but give a slight discouraged sigh... he looked around some more and didn't see Ryouichi anywhere... his heart started to deflate, perhaps he was a guard... busy with his duty.

Naruto started hearing many shushing and started to see many people gathering in one spot of the room... Naruto was standing on his tiptoes to see if he could see anything, wondering what it could be. He started to push forward, his blue Kimono kinda rustling briefly before he fell forward in the slight pushing mess. The one everyone surrounding in awe saw this and disappeared in a flash before Naruto's falling form was instantly picked up by the hand, arm around the waist.

Naruto scrunched up his eyebrows in confusion before opening his eyes to see a familiar redhead grinning at him... In a completely different attire. "R-Ryou?" Naruto whispered. "We really need to stop meeting like this Naruto-Kun." At the name, music started to play and Naruto was swept off his feet from the awkward catching position before whispered broke out, but none dared to say anything as they watched or started to dance as well. "W-Why is everyone staring at us," Naruto whispered making Ryouichi grin sheepishly. "Because I'm the one who announced this party."

Naruto's mind was in a whirl as everyone disappeared from his mind and only the boy in front of him was in his mind. "Sorry I didn't tell you before, I just wanted out of the world of kiss asses." Ryouichi brought him close as he said this, Naruto couldn't help but laugh at his voice dripping with disdain. "I see... I get it now." Naruto whispered. The old Daimyo never did this, so it would make sense there was a new one... and his father died... He looked at Ryou in the eyes as the grin still plastered on his face began to widen.

"I should really admit to why I was throwing this party, of course, I wanted to celebrate the defeat of Kyuubi, but I wanted to meet someone my age that I could bond with as a friend..." Ryouichi chuckled sheepishly. "it was kind of a selfish reason." He turned on his heel, the red kimono lined with silver flowing as he did while his blue Kimono did the same. "And did you.. find a friend?" Naruto asked with a slight hint of hope.

Ryouichi hummed, "Not really..." Naruto felt like he was slapped in the face but that is when Ryouichi turned once more and brought Naruto down in a bow, his hand securing his balance and looked him in the eyes. "I think I found something much more..." the whisper made Naruto blush brightly but his smile gave away that he was glad he said that. Ryouichi pushed forward and kissed the blond on the lips and everyone in the room was either shocked to the core or 'Wooping' at the sight. Mostly Kiba Inuzuka who saw this decided to do. 

Naruto embraced it and kissed back before Ryouichi pulled away and back into his arms into dance again. "I found another reason to come back." He stated with a warm smile. Ryou grabbed his hand and twirled him once again before brought him back into his arms with a hug to his back. "Happy birthday, Naruto-Kun." Naruto knew... this would change his way he felt about his birthday.

I was able to post this as I already had it written... Don't expect much for a while, dealing with some stuff.
