The table was fairly silent, Naruto looked around the table, it was eery. usually, there was something to talk about... but looking across the table was Kyoko staring at him, her eyes were seemingly unregistered. "Where is everyone?" Ryou broke the silence, fairly confused, he always let many of his maids to dine with him, but it was just Iren and the wind daimyo's family. 

"You know how the maids are like when we have guests," Iren said as she lightly patted the outlines of her mouth. "I see, well let us enjoy this meal! Right Naruto?" Said blond looked over and nodded his head, "Yes, we should." He lightly grabbed his fork and began slowly cutting into his meat with his knife, his eyes wandered up and Kyoko hadn't takin her eyes off of him like he was being studied, or even graded. 

He put the fork to his mouth and lightly savored the flavor of the meat and closed his eyes out of habit before opening his eyes, seeing the eyes of the girl change from blue to black, and Naruto froze, feeling his stomach churn before Naruto closed his eyes, feeling Kurama doing something he shouldn't... Re-opening his eyes, his blue eyes turned into the scarlet ones and stared back into hers making her flinch briefly, blinking they were both back to normal.

After that brief exchange, nothing seemed to have happened the entire dinner... only for Kyoko to tug on her mother's dress. "Kaa-chan, I don't feel fit to ride home... My stomach isn't acting well." She held her stomach as if she was in pain while Emiko looked down at her sympathetically, "It would be rude to intrude anymore Kyoko-chan." Ryou heard this and began feeling antsy but decided to test the waters. "You may stay for one night, that is fine... you already have a room occupied so one night isn't anything." 

Naruto nodded in agreement, one night wouldn't hurt anything... He hoped internally. He lightly grabbed Ryou's hand and lightly whispered into his ear. "Can we finish our training?" He whispered making the redhead smile and nod to his fiance. "Of course, if you'll excuse me, we are done for now." Ryouichi stood up and grabbed his hand and pulled him along... "Thank you Ryou-san!" Hibiki said as Emiko nodded to her husband, "They are too kind." 

Kyoko smiled brightly and turned away and began walking with Naami leading her to her room to rest... but as everyone turned away from the girl, a smirk tugged at the edges of her mouth.

As it turned darker, and the mist of fire country showered the grass with a dew made everyone pack in there stuff and decided to head to bed early, including Naruto and Ryouichi, who was glad that they were able to finally sleep after the day they had. Ryou pulled the blond closer to him as per usual while Naruto welcomed the feeling of being held, as he never had it before he met Ryouichi.

"Hey, Ryou-Kun?" 

"Yes, Naru?" Ryouichi whispered in his ear making him shudder. "I love you." The Daimyo smiled and lightly kissed the back of his neck. "Of course." He whispered making Naruto frown, "You gotta say it back..." Ryouichi grinned around his neck, "I'll make sure to say it more tomorrow." Naruto rolled his eyes but smiled nevertheless, "Idiot.."

Click... Click... Click... The smallest taps echoed the halls of the Daimyo's palace before the shadowed figure seemingly slipped between the cracks of the door and into the room with Naruto and Ryouichi... Naruto seemingly shivered and slowly opened his eyes and what greeted him was the pitch-black eyes of a shadowy figure. Naruto opened his mouth only for an unknown force grab ahold of his throat and he couldn't speak or even be able to breathe.

"K-K-KURAMA! P-PLEASE HELP!"  But the fox didn't answer... he looked over to Ryou's sleeping form and he didn't seem to be breathing... Like everything had stopped all around him except this shadowy figure. "MIiiNnneee!" The shadowy figure gritted out and the feeling lost in his mind as if everything was constricting... before it went dark... like falling asleep.

Ryou shuddered briefly and slowly opened his eyes and lightly smiled as he saw the sleeping blond in his arms, he lightly kissed his neck once more, "Good morning love." He grinned, seemingly testing the waters that he did promise to say it some more. Naruto didn't answer... but he rolled his eyes slightly at that, "Are you mad about last night? It was a joke, I love you I love you." He recited twice quickly making him chuckle to himself... Still no answer.

"Naruto?" He lightly shook his form and lightly rolled him over, still breathing... but not awake, "Oh great, Kurama can you wake him up." He said touching Naruto as he did... he felt cold and the fox did not answer... "Naruto?" Ryouichi started to get worried and shook him. "Hey! Naruto! Wake up!" He shook him some more and still nothing. Ryouichi felt tears roll down from his eyes and quickly looked up in shock "SOMEONE HELP ME!" 

And just like all those years ago, Ryou's world shattered as many maids hurriedly came in, and even a few of his guards heard his shouts. "He's not waking up! Please!" Ryou shouted while a few rooms down Kyoko was smiling down at her hands and getting up and walking to the door, she opened it and walked out only to see many maids quickly running towards the door that seemed to be wide open.

She began walking towards it itching her arm as her face was downcasted by her hair. She began smiling at the thought. "Naruto!" The shouting continued as she walked passed the door seeing that the blond was in what seemed to be an endless sleep. "Sinking... Sinking..." She pushed her hand down as the blond gasp and violently started to shake making everyone in the room panic briefly while Iren quickly helped Ryou to turn the blond over.

"GET A DOCTOR IN HERE NOW!" Iren shouted, she looked back down at Ryou who was crying in shock, "This is not going to happen to this boy AGAIN!" Iren vowed before she looked back to the door and saw the dark look in Kyoko's eyes and smirk before she slowly walked from the door... That was when the shaking stopped. Naruto's form stopped shaking after a moment and Iren sighed in relief. She began feeling the blond's forehead and her eyes widened, he was very cold... 

"I'm here, Tell me what has happened?" A blue-haired doctor came in quickly, her hands turning green before he climbed on top of the bed and began to assess the blond. The woman's eyes widened considerably and slowly pushed her hand onto the blond's chest and then she seemed confused. "Where is his chakra?" Ryou looked up quickly at that, he was still crying but it slowed when the shaking stopped. "H-His chakra?" The doctor nodded her head. "It's as if he wasn't born with chakra?" 

Ryou shook his head, "We just trained yesterday... What is it? What's wrong with him??" The Daimyo questioned frantically and grabbed ahold of the woman's hand on top of his fiance's chest. "It's as if his soul is gone... but his body is still here." Ryou felt his heartache at the thought. "Is there a way to fix him??" The redhead more than demanded the answer. "I wouldn't know.. Find his soul? Is anyone here a sensor?" The doctor asked curiously around the room and a guard stepped forward.

"Does that mean Ryou is free again?" The voice made Ryou's mind freeze and slowly turn towards the door where Kyoko stood and spoke some more, "If you want to settle our arrangement again Mother and father would be delighted to tal-" The red-haired teen jumped and pinned the girl to the wall, feeling her ice-cold form. "You... YOU DEVIL! GIVE ME BACK NARUTO!" Kyoko struggled against his grip.

"I have no idea what you're talking abo-" The icy cold form slowly began to heat up as Ryou grabbed her throat and began to lift her. Lifting his other hand a bright purple flame erupted from his hands. "I did some research before this happened and I am glad to know that I can finally test this out." He growled out as he slowly brought the hand towards the girl's face making her scream out in fear. "RYOU! DROP MY DAUGHTER THIS INSTANT!" 

Hibiki stood at the doorway making Ryou growl. "Your daughter is being possessed if you want me to get it out of her I am going to burn the living shit out it!" Ryouichi shouted and began inching forward before Iren went wide-eyed, feeling something. "RYOU DON'T!" The Daimyo stopped and turned his head angrily only to see what was happening. Naruto's form was now sweating uncontrollably. "Well then... I already had one girl try to take my fiance away from me, I am glad I immediately found the culprit this time." He squeezed making her flinch uncomfortably. 

"Naami! Call your husband! We are going to have to excise a demon again." Naami who was watching on worriedly nodded her head, she turned on her heel and began running quickly out the door. "You won't get him back! He Is MInE NoW!" The girl's voice morphed and she grabbed ahold of Ryou's arm before squeezing it making him wince and drop the girl. "hehehe. Heheheh AHHAHAHAH!!" the girl's giggles turned into a maniac laugh before her chakra flared up as her hair flung up, her teeth elongating before her form morphed into a pitch-black substance and everything went dark.

"FIND HER! Don't let her escape!" Ryouichi shouted out and turned to look down at Naruto's form on the bed and looked up at Iren. "Can you please look after him Iren?" The woman looked up and nodded her head. "Of course." Ryou nodded his head before looking at Kitane, "You stay here Kitane, I don't want anything to happen to him." Ryouichi turned before he stopped mid-step before he growled once again. "I will not have my fiance or son die on me!" His hand enveloped in flames before he disappeared in a flash.

Naruto panted lightly as he controlled his chakra and began running faster, a bundle in his arms as he did run, "Come on Haru-chan, we got this right?" The blond fumbled slightly in thought as he looked down at the red-haired boy in his arms. He looked around in the darkness before he felt a presence behind him. He turned around and saw an animalistic like form running at him and its jaws opening up, He tensed up before he summoned a bit of Kurama's chakra to his hands and did something that he and Ryou had been working on.

Fire and Lightning shot out of his hands in a blazing form before it ran at the Shadow demon. "Good job Naruto I can control it from here! Just get away from here, Ryou is trying to free you from the outside, if you can run as far away as you can from the demon it will not be able to keep you here! GO!" Kurama shouted in his mind as he ran, Naruto bit his lip as he looked down at the babe once more and grimaced. "Wasn't going to be bad.." Naruto muttered annoyed before he boosted the amount of chakra to his feet and kept dashing away.

"Is there any other way I can help Ryou-Kun get me out of here?!" Naruto shouted towards the fox and the fox cringed at a thought. "There is one way, but it would be dangerous for Haruki, it would be better for Ryou to be here... But there is something to try, push your chakra to your mind and try to block out anything besides me." Kurama stated before Naruto closed his eyes as he ran, There was nothing besides pitch-black plains and tried as he did...

Ryou looked back and forth from the darkness as he held up his hand, He looked down at the ground and saw black claw prints layering the wood beneath him and he scowled before he kept running where the demon did. "Come on... Come on..." Ryou muttered before an ear-splitting scream echoed the halls and he felt a familiar chakra coming from where it happened. If it would have been anyone else they would have ran away in fear... but Ryouichi only smirked. "Found you!" Ryou channeled chakra to his hands before throwing it down the hall and smacked the black form that was sticking to the ceiling just in front of him.

Ryouichi pulsed his chakra as a way to signal where he was for everyone in the palace to find him. "GIVE ME BACK NARUTO KYOKO, AND I WILL LET YOU LIVE!" Ryou shouted making a female voice ring out... It was different but it was hers. "Silly Ryou... You hurt us, we wanted you to ourselves, and you betrayed that... We want only your death!" Ryouichi bit his lip in anger before he held up his hands and they ignited in a blue fire. "If you can kill me!"

Naruto opened his eyes in shock and stopped his running, what made him stop was a small sob it was silent... but it was there. "Kurama... I think I found Kyoko..." Naruto whispered as he slowly began walking forward. "Wait really!? Find her! That's another way out!" Kurama shouted in triumph before he seemed to grunt. "What is it??" Naruto asked quickly... and he was silent... he froze thinking of if the bijuu lost... "KYOKO!" Naruto shouted and ran, quickly trying to find the source of the sobbing.

Naruto suddenly stopped and looked down at a brown-haired girl who was chained to the ground, "N-Naruto?" She whispered making him smile in relief, "don't worry I gotcha." He said as he leaned down and grabbed the chain and his chakra busted the chain from the inside. "Come, we need to run from it." The girl nodded her head before looking down into his arms and saw the baby and couldn't help but stare as she ran.

"This is your mind right? You can change it! Just think and imagine light!" Naruto said as he ran, remembering changing his mind for Kurama. She looked at him as if she was crazy, She closed her eyes and tried to imagine the sun lighting the entire area... and that was just what happened, Naruto turned towards the light and saw a shadow going for the girl and he quickly turned and saw the demon, he guessed it was about to lunge at her before she made everything so bright and the demon flinched and spazzed from the light intrusion.

Naruto summoned all of his chakra to his free hand and blasted the Demon with a torrent of lightning and wind and the demon was blasted far back and that was when Ryou saw it.

The demon he was facing in his home was getting more sluggish, He grinned at the thought of his finance holding his own against the demon from the inside. "NARUTO I'M COMING!" He shouted and the blond heard it briefly and grinned, "Kyoko! Hold Haru-chan!" He lightly placed the baby in her arms as she gingerly took the baby in her hands as Naruto got into a stance before breathing out, his mind clearing before he opened his eyes and the demon was sprinting on the four limbs that it had and Jumped at him.

Putting his hands in a handsign he did quickly before his hands ignited with electricity. "Lightning style, Twin dragons!" He shouted as he brought his hands forward and from either side of him, Dragons made of pure lightning rushed the shadowy figure. Ryouichi who was in the middle of a hand sign stopped and wood tendrils from the ceiling grabbed ahold of the dazed Demon. That was when Naami and her husband with a cross around his neck ran quickly where all the chakra was being thrown around. 

The blond-haired male jumped and grabbed ahold of the restricted demon before his hand was glowing brightly and pulled the girl's arm that was trying to get out of the darkness and was pulled out of the shadow. Ryouichi saw the little babe in her hand and he breathed out in relief for Haruki, "Naruto is still in there!" Kyoko shouted with tears running down her face as Ryou looked back at the mass of darkness constricted on another arm. "No He IS MiNE!" The demon shouted before Ryouichi shouted. "NARUTO COVER YOURSELF WITH CHAKRA!" Naruto who was struggling immeditely got what he was implying and closed his eyes.

The priest did what Ryouichi said as well as the demon was ingulfed in a white-hot flame and the demon screamed in agony while the man grabbed ahold of the blond and pulled his hand hard and he flung down to the floor only for him to disappear like he wasn't there. The priest grinned as the three were safe before looking back at the burning demon and put his hand in a one-handed hand sign, "BEGONE!" He flung his other hand and the shadow-like figure was disintegrated with a blast of holy like Chakra.

...

Everything was quiet as the black dust fell to the ground and the priest gracefully landed on his feet, Naami quickly running to her husband in relief while Ryouichi quickly looked around before he remembered.. it was just his soul, he turned on his heel and ran towards the room he just left with Kyoko carefully running with the baby in her arms. "W-Wait Ryouichi!" She shouted as the girl ran after the Daimyo.

Iren lightly brushed the hair from the blond's face as he started to burn up suddenly, the doctor next to her lightly pushing her hands around the blond's body before a gasp came from the blond until it was back down... "He's back." She muttered as she looked up at Iren with a smile, "Naruto? Naruto-sama? Come on, wake up." She shook him and the blond inturn groaned and opened his eyes and looked around groggily... There was a lot of woman around him, with Iren lightly petting his head. "Heh... I would be lying if I didn't dream this once upon a time, but ladies I'm engaged." The blond muttered as he closed his eyes, his head throbbing while Kitane couldn't help but choke on a laugh.

"Now, Now Naruto, don't make us laugh," Iren said while the doctor and the other maids agreed, it was quite funny to them all. Naruto opened his eyes before something made the blue-haired doctor frown. "Naruto-sama, can you open your eyes for me and follow my finger?" She asked curiously as a black hue surrounded Naruto's right blue orb. "What is it?" Naruto asked curiously before his eyes widened and a pain shot through him like nothing else as his right eye started to cry tears of blood. 

"IT HURTS!" Naruto shouted as he clutched the sheets of his bed while Ryouichi and Kyoko quickly and finally made their way into the room and saw Naruto's endeavor to keep the pain out. "Please! KURAMA!" Naruto shouted before his right eye had a red chakra bubble over his eyes and the black aura was suddenly gone... Naruto clutched his eyes in agony while the redhaired boy quickly ran over to him in worry, he never had seen the blond in so much pain... "It's okay, It's okay Naru, I'm here," Ryouichi whispered before the blond buried his face into the older teen's chest. "My eye... It stings.." he gritted out as the blood still dripped onto the daimyo's clothing. 

Ryouichi pulled away and lifted the blond's chin and his eyes widened seeing the other's eye... "Naruto-Kun... It's..." Ryouichi was flabbergasted before he touched the blond's forehead with his, "The Demon did this... and I am kinda relieved he gave Naruto this..." Kurama replied, he was laying his head on his front claw and grinned a toothy grin, "Who would have guessed that demon was an Uchiha."  In place of Naruto's right eye was 3 tomoe spinning in a red pool...

"Sharingan..."
