2# Konoha
The months passed as Ryouichi became the Damiyo... many people tried to take his place... but Asuma was able to show the ones who tried to get the boys place that he and Iren were the witnesses to him giving his will...
The now Twelve year old smiled lightly at the thought... he decided to not cry about it anymore... he knew his dad wouldnt want that... so now here is the biggest thing he would have to do..
Asuma was kneeling before the young boy who seemed tired... he was piled around paper work... and books. "Asuma... I hearby ask you to return to Konoha..." Asuma looked up quickly in surprise at that and Ryou raised his hand to stop him from speaking. "You done more that enough... I believe you should go back home... besides... I will be able to defend myself with every thing you have taught me." The boy smiled making Asuma bow his head. "If that is what you wish." He dissappeared in a puff of smoke.
Ryou sighed lightly at that and began looking at a clone jutsu his father once had... "Blood clone..." Ryou whispered... before he closed the scroll and smiled. "I suppose I can use that while I can have some fun." He smiled slightly as he did the needed handsigns...
...
The now fourteen year old sighed in relief... The Hokage heard of what had came of his father from his son Asuma and decided to invite him to the village to talk.. probably the entire ordeal of payments through all the missions...
The only reason why he was in relief was because he was finally getting out of the village to explore... perhaps he could take a small vacation in the village while his blood clone stays... he wondered curiously...
He shook his head as he walked towards the gates to see a carriage making him sigh. "We dont need a carriage." He sighed as his guards were tying a horse to the front of the royal carriage... he knew it was for formalities... but he knew it would be so much more faster if they were on foot.
"But my lord.." Ryou sighed before getting into the carriage begrudgingly as his guard was about to talk and talk about how it was for the best and formally apropriate... how his father put up with this he never will know...
He sat silently as the horse shoes met the ground in small pitters along the road. He sighed as he looked out the window of the carriages blinds... the green foliage of trees and bushes with him seeing some plains in the mix once in a while.
He groaned slightly... it probably would of taken them 5 minutes on foot... why did they have to take the half an hour drive... he sat twidlimg his thumbs as a spark lit between his two fingers. He and his father had a fire affinity, he knew ever since he started to train in anything as his chakra was highly reactant with himself.
Able to create a fire without the need of handsigns would prove useful... if he wasnt cooped up all day in his "little palace" as Asuma use to joke about with him. For one... it was fairly large... but not considered a palace in his books..
He heard a small ruckus outside and sighed knowing it was bound to happen... secounds passed before they contiuned on... his guards were strong, he just didnt want any... he was fairly strong... Asuma classed him to high B-rank.. a average jounin in Konoha. He was happy, normally young teens were only genin level.. there have been exceptions. He heard of the infamous Kakashi Hatake from Asuma personally and the Uchiha who slaughtered his brethren.
He shook his head at the thoughts that kept invading his head.. but it continued, he guessed that the boredom was getting to him mentally. "Someone put this insane boy out of his misery!" He imagined his guard saying it making him snicker quietly.
He put his hand away from his mouth as he saw a ring placed on his index finger and frowned... that was another thing that bothered him... since he was an heir and now the Damiyo... everyone knew who he was in his village... everyone wanted him... but for money and power.
He gripped his clothes in annoyance before looking up and out of the blinds to see a wall slowly encroaching towards the carriage.. "I suppose I have an idea for a deal.." he grabbed a scroll and a poof of smoke appeared around in the carriage as a fox mask with a red mark in the shape of a moon was on the top of its forehead. The mask was special... it had a seal on the inside which turned the wearer's hair and his clothing a different color and no Dojutsu should be able to see behind the mask. He put it on as his hair darkened to black and he peered his head out to whisper to a guard.
"I will be wearing my mask for this trip. If it is off then you may be free from your duty to protect me..." seeing the guards look of protest he glared at the man. "I am capable of protecting myself. The only person to know my face is Hokage-sama and his son if he sees me again." The guard bit his lip before nodding as they walked passed the guards of Konoha who bowed before the carriage.
Ryou began to strain his ears as he started to hear whispers. "That's the fire Damiyos carriage... perhaps he has business with Hokage-sama..." it was similar to what he expected... perhaps no one disclosed the information that his father died... the carriage suddenly stopped making him grab the handle and pull the door open and looked around to see a few eyes on him... this defiantly disclosed it now... good thing no one has a picture of him with his father.
He walked forward towards the decent size building and open the door and walked up the stairs, the guards in front of him and behind him. The guard then opened the door as he saw the Hokage writing on a piece of paper. He smiled slightly. This was defiantly a kage... he only met a few... but the aura around Hiruzen was there... he may be old... but he is still considered the strongest in the village. The man looked up quizcally before his eyes widened remembering today.
"Good morning Sarutobi-san." The man began to stand up making Ryou pull his hand up and wave him down. "Do not bow to me, it should be I to bow to someone like the professor." The man seemed to be taken aback by the maturity held in the young fourteen-year-old. "May we talk in private? You can bring your son in if you want as a witness, I just have a proposition that involves... privacy."
Hiruzen hummed and waved off the Anbu that was currently on the ceiling in the shadows. "Thank you," Ryou said as he pulled off his mask and gave him a big grin across his face. "Now... down to business." He sat down onto the chair in front of Hiruzen as he pulled out a piece of paper and handed it over towards the old Hokage who seemed to grab it in curiosity.
"The deal is exactly the same as my fathers except I have one request." Hiruzen looked up at the boy in front of him, studying him... the redhead seemed to see it and sighed slightly and looked over towards the pile of paperwork. "I feel like you can understand my frustration that I am not someone who wants to be getting marriage proposals cause everyone knows me... point with the mask." He held it up making the man nod thoughtfully, it made sense.
"...and now i'm the Damiyo.. I dont think i have any friends my age... hell the only friends that i could call real friends would be a few of my guards... maids... and your son... and no one is near my age." He looked towards the wall to see the Hokage portraits... "I wish to be able to come here... and be able to live a some what normal life... hell someone needs to argue with me cause its boring having the final say sometimes." Ryouichi whined slightly at that making the Hokage smile slightly at that.
"I have a way of transportation as well... so i can get in and out of the village with no worries... its similar to your Yondaimes technique... though it kinda take a toll on me." He rubbed the back of his neck with a small flustered look on his face making the old kage chuckle at that. "I see your frustration. Damiyo is defiantly not a light title." He added a small look of empathy over paperwork... before he hummed in thought. "You just need a break, your still young, not something to take lightly in this age..." Hiruzen sighed in sadness before clasping his hands together.
"I will let you have your "vacation" like stay whenever you want, and I will not disclose any pictures of you as the damiyo without your disguise or a analyses." Hiruzen smiled making Ryou smile brightly while his guard bit back a small retort... he knew this could end badly in any way... "However I am concerened if anything does happen to you." Hiruzen said seemingly voicing the guards concern.
"I am able to take care of my self just fine." Ryou crossed his arms in annoyance making the Hokage sigh slightly. "Yes, however if something were to happen to you with one of your stays it could be bad." Ryou grinned slightly at that as he held up a seal. "I give you my word that even if im hurt It wouldnt matter. Konoha will not be hurt in any way, this Damiyo seal will proove that.. however there are exceptions. Obviously if its a assassination attempts ordered by specific people.." he stated making the Hokage hum before nodding. "Well then I have no worries."
Ryou stood up before he put his hands into a T formation and a puff of smoke appeared as a clone appeared next to him. "Well i will have my clone will go out to my carriage and i will have my first day here. Is that alright with you Kitane?" He looked at his guard who sighed but nodded. "Good..." he waved them off as his clone put on the mask and went outside.
"Kage bushin... a advanced technique." Hiruzen commented to the boy making him sighed and nod seemingly in relief. "Yeah... its a blessing though... same for the blood clone... such a useful way of dealing with paperwork."
...
Hiruzen blinked making Ryou blink back before waving his hand in front of the old mans face. "You in there?" He said curiously before the old mans head hit the desk with a loud thump muttering small "Stupid... Stupid.. Stupid..." the red head just sweatdropped as he slowly inched himself away from the desk.
Atleast he got his vacation to look forward to...
