Normal POV
It was just a normal day in fairy tail, where the whole guild hall is filled with noise. Natsu fighting Gray, destroying Erza's strawberry cake and just a huge riot being form.

Just like usual The blonde celestial Mage Lucy chilled at the bar having a chat to Mira. "You get use to this don't cha" Lucy said sipping on her milkshake, staring at a certain guild member. "Yeah, after a while it's natural, just like how you stare at Natsu" she said with a cheeky smirk. "Yeah you have a point" She agree not obvious of what was just said. Both of them stop talking as Lucy still stared at Natsu's every movement....."NO IM NOT!" Lucy screamed with a blush, looking at Mira, however she was oblivious that she caught Natsu's attention.

" You were so in such a daze staring at him you didn't hear what I said" Mira chuckled as she began cleaning glasses. " I..I.i was-nt lo-oking at him" she stuttered as the lie seeped through her teeth " Looking at who?" The pink fire dragon slayer questioned giving Lucy a fright as she fell off her stool. "Haha...gez Lucy what was that reaction"

Lucy's face was bright red and she rubbed her butt quietly in pain, as her face was down. " Oh hey Natsu!" She showed a smile as she began to stand up hoping he would forget his question. " So who were you looking at ?" He said with a blank expression, as Mira thought of an idea.

"She was looking at Gray" Mira whispered in his ear, his face stared blank. "Mira what did you say?" Lucy said with a concerned face. "oh nothing" she chuckled walking away . Before Lucy went to ask Natsu on what she said he interrupted her.

"Let's go on a mission Lucy, I already found one" he announced grabbing Lucy's hand and pulling out the flier with the other showing it to Lucy as they headed to the guild doors.

A giant golem has be causing terror through skylight and we are requesting fairy tail's help

"Oh, you guys going on a mission?" Gray butted in as Natsu straight away glanced at Lucy's face.

Natsu POV
I grabbed Lucy's hand and showed her the flier as I began to stormed out of the guild. However we got interrupted by the freaking ice princess, hearing that she was staring at him before I took a look at Lucy's face which looked like she was blushing or something. 'why the heck is she looking at him like that?' I thought tightening my grip on her hand as I continued throughout the door.

Lucy's POV
When we got interrupted by Gray, Natsu started to act weird but what can I say I was acting weird blushing again. ' it not my fault, he is the one holding my hand' i thought.

As we reach outside I decided to ask, "Natsu are you alright?" I said worried, as I noticed something. "Oh where is happy?" I decided to ask without waiting for an answer to my previous question. "HAPPY!!" He randomly yelled giving me a heart attack.

Happy flew out of the guild doors to Natsu and my side.

"You liiiikkkkeee eachotherr!" He rolled his tongue as I notice I was still holding his hand. "No!" I said letting go of Natsu's grip and giving happy a hit on the head. "Lushiee your mean!" He pouted as he went from flying to walking as a lump appeared on his head. "Happy we are going on a mission, let's go!" Natsu called his pall over and started to walk off, "come on Lushiee" happy called. "I'm coming...I'm coming"

Normal POV
After the group consisting of Natsu, Lucy and Happy visit the flier's requester, they had begun to search for the golem. After a while of discussion between them they had finally confronted this golem, it stood 20 times higher and bigger than them.
After a bit Natsu, happy and Lucy fought together and destroy it, though it took all of their magic power due to its size.

They had headed back to collected their reward, which soon after lead them back home which was 30 minutes away. On their way a fierce creature had been following, watching Happy who was walking behind both of them. Lucy had turned around and notice this creature, so she pounced out and hugged Happy.

"AHHH!" Lucy had screamed in agony as the creatures claw sliced her back. "LUCY!" Natsu yelled as he watched her back drip blood. He began to run at the wolf until it's paw fling him back. It began to walk towards Lucy which picked her up in its mouth and began thrashing her around.

Natsu's POV
"LUCY!" I yelled as her body got smashed multiple of times, she was barely conscious as she let yelps out. This demon wolf had scratch her body and torn her clothes, her whole body went purple from the bruises and red from the gashes.

I was exhausted, my magic power was so low, I could barely move, " I got to do something" I mumbled, trying to lift this body of mine up. " I got to help Lucy! " I said tumbling over once more. I looked up as I saw the wolf fling her past me, clashing her into the tree. That is when blood spurted from her mouth and her eyes gently had shut. "How...how....HOW DARE YOU HURT HER!" I said as rage fill my body, my magic had felt reenergised...power flowed in my veins.

My feet stood its ground, finally supporting my body. I glared at the wolf demon, as I launched "Fire Dragon's wing attack" my body lit on flames as two streams release from my arms. It push the wolf back, it fur slightly singed... "I have to finish it off".

"FIRE DRAGON'S" I began cupping my hand around my mouth "ROAR!" I finished as a gush of fire was formed as it went head on to the wolf, defeating it.

My legs wobbled, but I was able to walk to Lucy. Her back was leant against a tree, it was like every bit of her body was inflicted with a injury. "Luce...I'm sorry" I mumbled under my breathe as I placed my head on the tree above her shoulder. Her breath sounded weak, and her body was motionless, "I got to get her to the guild quick"

" Happy?" I whispered wondering where he was. " Lushiee...." A quiet voice spoked, I looked down into Lucy's arm where an unharmed happy was.

"She protected me" he started to break down as he glazed at her. " Happy can you carry us out please?" "*sniff* aye" he wiped away his tears.

I stood up and picked up Lucy, putting her on my back. Her arms flopped over weakly and her head in my neck. Happy picked us up and headed back to the guild.

"warm" a sweet voice muttered that rested in my neck. I let a carefree smile on my face as I felt her hands grip my vest lightly.

At the guild (Natsu's POV)

I pushed the guild doors wide open, as they slammed making attention being drawn at me. "Why ya so loud firebreat-" Gray was yelling at me as I casually looked down, I'm guessing he didn't want to finish his sentence.

" Oh my...what happened to Lucy-San" Wendy gasped placing her hand over her mouth. " May you please heal her Wendy?" I gently muttered and stared at her with compassion. " Oh course...let's go in the infirmary though" she politely told me as I walked towards the infirmary's door.

I opened the door and placed her on the clean white sheets that no doubt we're going to go red.

"Is it alright if you could wait outside please?" Wendy asked as she placed her hands over Lucy. "BU-.......okay " I walked out with my head down, as I sat down at the bar.

"Are you alright Natsu?" I heard Mira questioned after giving me a worried stare. "It's my fault...I wasn't paying attention and I let her get hur-" "NO!, it's all my fault" happy stated in a cry
" she protected me!"

"I'm pretty sure Lucy is gonna be happy when she finds out your fine!" Mira said to happy with a wide smiled. ' I guess she is right, Lucy would be happy' I thought and patted happy on the head. " Natsu come here" Mira said trying to get his ear close to her mouth.

" If your gonna take care of Lucy you have to know what to do. Make sure you do stuff that she can't and when she is in pain do this to her bruises or wounds......."

"You sure?" I asked, making sure it was okay to do. "She will loved.. I'm mean it will help her!"
