Akane looked down at the breakfast she had prepared for her and Karma, just one problem. Karma still wasn't up. Akane sighed, she had been up until midnight. Doing the homework Koro-sensei set her. It was maths so it took her no time at all, maths was her best subject. She just seemed to get it and she found it easy as well as enjoyable. That hadn't been the thing that kept her up. Instead it had been everything that she and Karma had seen under the floorboards in her Father's bedroom. It had kept playing over and over in her mind, the curiosity burning even more than before, her need for answers forever growing but where exactly was she going to get those? hi wouldn't let her see and it's not as if hr Father would tell her even if he was home, plus if he found out she had been snooping...how knows what he would do. Akane looked at the clock, it he slept in any longer they were going to be late for school and she couldn't alone that. It was only her third day and she had made a promise that she would not let Chi take over and she would not black out again and miss any of it. Though of course she had seen yesterday that she didn't seem to be very good at the whole 'not letting Chi take over thing.' Akane sighed again and walked to the door of the room that Karma was sleeping in. She stopped outside the door ad bit her lip thinking about her next move. Did she knock? But he was probably still fast asleep so he wouldn't hear. Does that mean she should go in? Did she even dare to do that? The whole situation was making her face hot but after some thought she knew she had to enter the room and wake him up. She couldn't just leave for school without him, he might not even know the way there from her house. She slid opened the door and her eyes instantly rested on Karma. She blushed at the sight, he looked so cute and peaceful as he slept. He was on his front head turned to the side, facing her. His breathing was deep ad calming. Akane smiled and then approached him leaning over him slightly.

"Hey Karma." She said gently shaking his shoulder. "We have to get up and go to school." She said only getting a grumble in response. Karma rolled onto his back but didn't wake up. Akane smiled still thinking he looked really cute. "Karma come on, it's time to get up." She said. Suddenly Karma's hand came from under the covers and grabbed the front of Akane's school uniform. Then he pulled hard making her fall into the bed next to him. Akane's face was inches from Karma's, there noses touching slightly. His eyes didn't open but Akane could feel her heart beating at a million miles per minute. Was he still asleep? What was she meant to do? Not even Chi had any knowledge on what to do on a situation like this.

"Keep it down would you?" Karma said pressing his forehead against Akane's without opening his eyes.

"Wait...you awake?"

"Yeah I have been for a while."

"So why didn't you get up when I called you?" She asked. Karma smirked still not opening his eyes. Akane gasped coming to a conclusion in her head. "Y-you planned this didn't you?" She asked with a red face.

"So what if I did?" Akane rolled backwards to get off the bed.

"That's so...inappropriate." She said with a bright red face. She turned to look back at Karma but found herself pulling pulled to the ground. She landed on her back and looked up to see Karma's face looming over her. He was fully awake now, not a trace of sleep in his eyes and he smirked down at her. "Wh-what are you doing?" She said blushing.

"This is what she did...she dominated me in front of the whole class. She did it with such ease, it annoyed me so much. I've never been taken down that easily before and the worse part it, throughout the whole thing...she looked bored. Like she could beat me in her sleep." Akane calmed down a little, his face wasn't it's usual cocky self. It was distant, almost reserved.

"Karma...you strong, I know you are. Everyone knows you are even Koro-sensei's recognises it but there are just some people that are stronger. I mean you've seen this house, from the looks of this it sees that Chi has been training to become a killer all her life. It's weird to find a processional killer at the age of 14 but that's what Chi is. It's scary, weird and if I could I would get rid of her. I don't like her, I would even say I hate her and even more after what she did to you."

"Why?" He asked her.

"Because...I respect you. I know I've only known you for a little over two days but it doesn't take much to know that your smart, strong and you always know what you're doing. For weak characters like me your like a beacon of hope. Someone how I can trust to protect me because although you are the way you are I'm pretty confident that I was in trouble you'd come and save me. I've seen it several times already with Ryoma but Chi...she might be skilled but she wouldn't. I think that she's the kind of person to let thousands die to save her own neck." Karma smiled and bent down closer to her.

"You're a pretty good judge of character." He said with a smirk. "There aren't many people that can look through me like I'm made of glass." He gently hand his hand along the side of her hot cheek. "Look your all flustered again."

"Well you are kind of sitting on me...speaking o which can you get off? I made breakfast but we have to be quick or we'll be late for school." Karma sighed and lifted his leg from her side and sat on the floor with one knee raise, elbow on the knee and resting his head on his hand watching as Akane stood p to leave. "Please don't be long." She called back at the door.

"Yeah sure." He said as she closed the bedroom door... 

"So there it is." Said Mr Karasuma as the children sat in the floor on the field in their PE kits later that morning. Karma was sat next to Akane, he hadn't left her side all morning. He had his hands behind him and her had his head tilted back looking at a clouds like he couldn't be bothered with any of it. Akane sat with her knees against her chest, hugging them with her head resting on her knees. She was still uncomfortable as Kaede still wouldn't leave her alone. She was really starting to hate her school PE kit. "Expect some disruptions in class today and hopefully it won't interfere with your studies too much. Just carry on as normal alright?" He finished explaining that Bitch-sensei and her teacher Lovro were both trying to attempt to kill him throughout the day as some kind of bet they all made with Koro-sensei. Why exactly Mr Karasuma had agreed to something like that was un known, he didn't explain that part but Akane guessed that there was something in it for him too. As if on que there was a girly girl for a few feet away from them. Bitch-sensei was running towards them a smile on her face and a drink in her hand.

"Excellent work today, I beat you've worked up quite a thirst. Have an ice cold beverage." Mr Karasuma and most of the class glared at her. Bitch-sensei was an expert at seduction and infiltration but surely she knew that that wasn't going to work in this situation? Mr Karasuma already knows how she works, she's not going to let himself be fooled like that. "Here go ahead and knock it back. It tastes like a rainbow." Akane smiled as she heard the others pointing out that she had defiantly drugged it. If they could see through it then so could Mr Karasuma, this attempt was a failure from the get go.

"Probably some sort of muscle relaxant. Drug and stab, oldest trick in the book." He sighed. "What do you take me for? No man in his right mind would let you get close enough to give him a drink."

"Well...why don't I just put it here so you can drink it at your leisure. Oh." She said faking a fall. "Pick me up Karasuma. Pig back please." She whined but Mr Karasuma just sighed again and walked off. A few others went to help her up and she started shouting a them about something they said. She was clearly angry, panicking about something.

"Do you think she will be able to do it?" Akane asked Karma.

"Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see." He said as the class followed their PE teacher inside...
