The next class was chemistry, not Akane's best subject but she was still fairly good at it. She found that she seemed to be good at most things, thought that was all down to Chi. Akane figured that you had to be good in practically everything to be a good assassin. To the left of Akane there was a shy looking black haired girl with glasses on. Opposite here was another girl with long black hair was hung loose, she was really pretty.

"Hey, it's Akane right?" Said the black haired girl next to her.

"That's right and your Manami Okuda right? The chemistry expert."

"Yeah I guess."

"And your Yukiko Kanzaki, the class idol." She said to the girl opposite her. Yukiko smiled.

"That's right."

"It's a little un nerving how you already remember or first and surnames as well as our strong points." Said Manami quietly.

"It is? Sorry I...I didn't think about it like that."

"No, no it's fine...it's impressive too. There's no way I could remember all that stuff." She said quickly.

"I'm sure you could. Either way I guess I'm lucky to have you by my side for chemistry. It's not exactly my strong point." She said with a smile, Manami cheered up a little at her words.

"I would be more than happy to help you of you need it." She said.

"Thanks." Said Akane as she felt a presence beside her. She saw a familiar red headed boy stood there looking like he was already bored with the class. "Hello Karma."

"Hey." He said with a sigh.

"Alright class you may begin." Said Koro-sensei. Almost immediately Manami began to mix the ingredients they were given, like she had done this practical a thousands tome before. Akane on the other hand didn't, instead she carefully inspected each one, getting an idea of what she had to do to make a deadly poison like she had been asked to make and how to get there. She placed two liquids into the beaker of the bunsen burner and went for the third when Manami placed a hand on her arm to stop her.

"Don't put that one in s straight after the other two. It you do it will explode." She said gently with a smile. 

"Oh sorry, I wasn't paying attention." She said.

"Don't worry about it. It's a simple mistake to make your actually doing really well for you first time."

"So you've made poison before?" Akane asked and Manami nodded.

"Yeah I did. I got Koro-sensei to drink some too but they only gave him strange new powers.he grew wings from the side of his head, it was really weird." She said with a smile.

"Sounds awesome." Akane said with a smile. Then from the corner of the room there was a crash and everyone looked over to see Ryome stood there glaring at Akane which broken glass at his feet.

"Ryome I won't tolerate that kind of behaviour in my classroom." Said Koro-sensei.

"You won't allow that and yet you allow the girl that nearly killed me to walk about as if she owns the place."

"If I recall corrected it was Chi that tried to kill you yesterday not Akane. It would be wrong of me to punish Akane for Chi's actions and secondly it was you that provoked her, you even continued after  Akane begged you to stop and Karma's warning. I would say if anything you brought that near death experience on yourself."

"What's all this talk as of there two different people? They're not there one and the same."

"At first I was under the same impression but after having seen what I did yesterday I have come to the conclusion that what Akane said about them being different but just in the same body is completely true and Akane herself has no memory of what happened yesterday. I would say that the two share body and knowledge but nothing else. Everything Chi knew Akane seems to know as well, that's why she is already excellent in lessons even though in the grand scheme of things she is not much more than a child herself as she was born when the accident occurred." Everything he said made sense in a long winded way. She had been born during the accident, the one they call Akane didn't exist before and now she did.the knowledge things made sense too, so everything Chi knew Akane's knows, they just didn't share memories.

"Whatever, don't think I'm gonna be fouled. She's a killer no matter what that attitude of hers says."

"Funny that because I'm sure it was you that was trying to convince everyone that she was just a pathetic little girl yesterday." Said Karma stepped in like he had done yesterday. It seemed like a thing he did a lot, Akane had noticed it and so had a lot of the class. It was unlike Karma to get so involved in someone else's business. Why exactly was that?

"Well it's not like I'm gonna be fouled twice. You all saw. What she did and yet you all act like she's you best buddy."

"You know I think your just jealous. Jealous that everyone else can speak freely to her but you can't because you made yourself look like an idiot in front of her." Said Karma with a smirk. Ryome's cheeks went a little red.

"Don't be ridiculous." He shouted.

"Ridiculous? I wouldn't say that." He said grabbing Akane by the arm and pulled her into him. Then he placed on arm around her shoulder so that she couldn't back away. Akane's face became bright red. "You sure you don't want to be me right now?" He said with a sly smirk.

"You people are ridiculous, just you watch she'll kill you all." He said as he stormed out the classroom. There was silence for a little while afterwards, no one knew what to say.

"Alright class back to work. I'm sure he'll be fine." Said Koro-sensei cheerily, everyone started moving back to what they were doing before the scene.

"Hey Karma you can let go now." Said Akane her face still red.

"Aw really? You don't like it?" He said leaning his head closer to hers.

"Er...it's not that...but I have to get back to work." She said not sure what she was meant to say. Karma let go and she immediately stepped away. "But thank you...for helping to deal with him." She added before turning back to what her poison that was still brewing. Karma leant his elbow on the desk and rested his head on his hand looking up at her as she continued with her work.

"Sure anytime." He said with a smile thinking that she looked cute with her face all red like that.
