I sat up in bed and stretched. I picked my ring up from beside the lamp and put it on my finger. I stood up and got in the shower and changed into my uniform. I walked downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast and walked out the door.  I picked my phone up out of my bag and texted James.

You: Good morning!

I waited and he never replayed. 

   'Hmmm weird. '

I kept walking when I saw Oliver walking the same way as me.

   " Hey, Oliver! "

He turned towards me and a bright smile appeared on his face. He stopped walking and waited for me to catch up. 

   " Hey, Y/n. How are you this morning? "

   " I'm wonderful! I had the best night of my life last night! "

   " Really? What happened?"

   " I'm engaged~ " I sang.

   " Wow! Really!?"

   " Yes! I can't believe it. "

As I told Oliver I couldn't see the sadness in his eyes. We got to the school and the gate was barely open. I saw a few cop cars outside the school. Oliver and I stopped walking and watched.

   " What's going on? "

   " I don't know. Let's go see. " Oliver said leading the way.

We walked closer and I saw Miro and Akane standing at the gate. They saw me and ran towards me.

   " Y/n? What are you doing here? You need to go home. " Akane said.

   " Why? What's going on? "

Neither one of them answered me. I looked around and saw James's parents by the cop car talking with a cop. i felt my heart beat pick up and worry etch its way into my veins.

   " Where's James? Did something happen to James? "

   " Y/n please go home. " Miro said.

   " No. "

   " Plea-"

   " If it's something to do with James I have the right to know I am his fiance! "

They didn't say anything. I left the three and walked towards James's parents. They saw me and tears burst from their already red eyes.

   " What happened? "

   " Y/n we are so sorry. " His mother said.

   " Why? Is James okay? "

They didn't answer. I looked at the gate to see cops standing around. I ran past them and through the gate. They called out for me to stop, but I didn't. I ran and ran until I saw it. 

I ran into the gym and saw James's body on the floor. A pool of blood around him. His back was facing the ceiling and his stomach laid against the floor. I walked closer and turned him around. His face was lifeless. He was still breathing, but barely.

   " J-James? "

I sat on my knees and held him in my lap. I heard the footsteps catch up. I looked behind me to see Oliver, Miro, Akane, and a cop with them.

   " When is the a-ambulance getting here? "

   " They should be here any moment. Please step away from the body miss. "

   " P-P-Please just l-leave me alone with h-him until the paramedics get here. I-I'm his f-fiance. I want to just h-hold him. P-Please. "

   " Alright. I understand I would do the same thing with my wife. You three follow me. "

they followed the cop out and I held James in my arms. I felt the tears slip from my eyes. They fell and I didn't even try to hold them back. I let them fall.

   " J-James...y-you can't l-leave me. I-I love you. We-we were going t-t-t-to get married and have k-kids and live a h-happy life. James y-you can't leave me here alone. P-Please don't leave me. "

I held him close to me and cried. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what too think. James was barely breathing and he just proposed to me. 

   ' He can't leave me. We've been together for so long and we were meant to be together. The cherry blossoms landed on our heads and we had seen and helped each other through the worst and.....he can't leave me. Not now. '

I heard sirens going off. Three people burst through the door. One of them picked me up and carried me out as I screamed for James. The other two picked up James and put him on a stretcher.
