There were sounds of footsteps that forced Taehyung to awoken from his nap. He looked around, seeing that he's inside of some kind of hideout that he had found while trying to escape from the people hunting him down.

He suddenly raised his hands, sighing out in relief after realizing that he still had his mask on. Taehyung straightened up upon hearing the sound of the door opening, he shuffled further in the small space he managed to wedge himself in.

"That was fun." A rough voice spoke up.

"Infires man!" Someone else yelled, crashing on top of someone as a yelp resonated.

"Get off me." The first voice groaned. Something crashed down on the floor, slightly startling Taehyung. "That was not fun."

"Okay, calm down children." Another voice perked up, calm and unbothered by the situation that had happened. It must be a normal thing to them.

"Jungkook-ah, get your hyung a drink." The first voice ushered.

"Fine." 'Jungkook' huffed, then the sound of footsteps neared towards him. Taehyung stilled, panic rising within him. He may have faced many terrifying mafias and gangs before, but that was because he gathered enough information to prepare himself. He doesn't know who these people are and what they do.

The curtain beside him moved and he tried to make himself look smaller. "Hm?" A figure stepped in front of him, making him visible from the view. He slowly looked up, making eye contact with a young-looking boy with doe eyes staring at him with shock and confusion.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" He yelled when he finally registered that there's an intruder inside their hideout. He pointed at Taehyung, mouth opening and closing as another set of footsteps neared them.

"Okay, tell me why you're-" Taehyung recognizes his voice as the first one who had spoken. "Who the fuck are you?" Both of them stared at the masked boy before the silver-haired man raced forward to try and grab Taehyung but before he could do so, Taehyung swung a foot towards the stomach then stepped aside to run.

"Hyung!" He panicked, eyes landing on the door where he had come in from. Just as he was about to take off. Someone shouted and blocked the door.

"Tell me who you are!" He could everyone's eyes stuck on him.

"Nothing you need to know of." He winced at the emotionless voice that he didn't mean to do but due to the instincts inside of him telling him to distance himself, he couldn't help it. He mouthed the words 'I'm sorry' before sending out a punch towards the person blocking the door.

Before he could even get his hands on the door. Another person tackled him to the ground. He trashed around before he realizes that the hands are holding tightly on his mask.

"Okay!" He raised his hands in surrender, "You got me, don't remove my mask." He pleaded when the person straddling him moved his hands forward with the mask in hand. "I am in no motive to hurt any of you."

"Oh yeah?" He closed his eyes in embarrassment at hearing the person he kicked earlier. "You just kicked me in the fucking stomach and socked Jimin on the face! What do you mean by no motive to hurt any of us?!" The man hissed, grunting in pain.

"It was instincts!" He eyed them, noticing that they don't rather look like someone with experience with weapons. "I didn't know someone would be here! Nonetheless, a group of..." He thought of the right words, they look like troublemakers but that's based on how he sees it. "...of delinquents!"

"Tell us the reason why you're here." He raised his head at the authority that seeps out at the man's voice. "Then we won't remove your mask," Taehyung concluded that he may be the man leading them of some sort. If they are to train more, they could be a potential group that can overpower the mafias.

"I was being chased." He sighed out, the exhaustion filling him as he remembers running away from the awful things he had done. "I need somewhere to hide then I can get my revenge on them." His heart clenched, he wasn't supposed to take revenge. He was the one who they needed to take revenge on.

"Revenge on them?" That proves that they know nothing about the world they are about to be introduced to. Taehyung thought if this will be a good idea. He doesn't have anything to lose, so he would rather take the chance while he is at it.

"Mafias, one of the jerks trying to sabotage our plan in taking over another mafia. I only ran because there were too many of them that have weapons and guns, how could I even beat that?" The lies fall naturally out of him as if it's second nature.

"Mafias?"

"Yes, you fools." He taunted, watching if they would take the bait. "You're just a bunch of troublemakers, of course, none of you would know that."

"No, we'll help you." He feigned shock, his plan going at the right road. "We have nothing to do anyways." Excuses. Taehyung tsked, praying that he's doing the right thing.

"Why would you want..." He pretended to be confused at the situation, "...to help me?"

"It sounds fun." The leader-like shrugged, "What is there to lose?"

'A lot. You will lose a lot of things.' Taehyung wanted to tell them, scanning all of them if they approve of the idea. They don't seem happy about it, but they don't seem to be against it as well.

That day on, Taehyung started to train them and taught them what the world they are missing out from. While walking on that path, he started to realize that he shouldn't have let them step foot in this territory.

"Training's over." They all fell on the ground, thumping down on the grass as they stare up at the sky.

"If this training kills me, I'm blaming all of you." The masked boy smiled as they started bickering. He couldn't help the painful clench in his heart at the reminder of being free from everything.

"Ya, ahjussi! Your old age is the only thing holding you back."

"Why you...!"

"Grandpa!"

"Brat! At least I'm not as old as Seokjin-hyung!"

"Ta! Yoongi-ah." The silence followed before a chorus of laughter filled the air.

"Only Jin-hyung can shut Yoongi-hyung up."

"I will shut you up!" Taehyung watched as Jungkook jolted upwards and started running away as Yoongi follows. "Get back here!"

"TAG!" Hoseok shouted, pulling Jumin up then gestured for Seokjin and Namjoon to join in on them. They all stood up and started running to follow Jungkook.

'I don't want them to lose that smile.' From that day, Taehyung realized that it's only him that had become selfish to get the things he wanted. He looked down at his hands, remembering the blood that stained them as he mercilessly kills everyone around him due to his emotions.

A hand reached out to grab one of his hands, he looked up in surprise and saw Namjoon smiling at him. "Join us?" He smiled and let himself be dragged. They ran around the field, the sun shining on them as their smiles shine brighter. For a while, it was the best moment that Taehyung had ever felt. The wind moving past him, his hair bouncing as his chest rumbles with laughter breaking out.

He felt free.

However, nothing ever lasts. The guilt grew stronger as more days pass by. He trains them to be stronger but without the intention of using them anymore. He teaches them to control their emotions and to avoid things that he had failed to avoid.

He remembers that day very clearly. The blue sky above them, the clear blue ocean waving at them, and the warmth of the bodies around him. Namjoon had finally decided that they will go on a new path in life, somewhere that no one would recognize them and start life anew.

Taehyung no longer wants to hurt them any further. He didn't want their lives tangled with him and bring them danger any further. They would be better off without him. They don't need a murderer mingling with them.

His sight wandered and stopped by the tall construction. He looked over to them before he walked off to climb the high platform.

When he reached the top, he looked over the view. A bitter smile crossed his face then he closed his eyes as he takes a deep breath.

"Ya!"

"What are you doing?!" He could hear them shout, telling him that it's dangerous to be up here or that he should go down from there. "Get down here, you stubborn tiger!" Tiger, he will miss the way that they call him with that. It was a nickname created by them as they quoted that 'you're like a predator with the way you move when you handle the weapons'.

"Seriously! What are you doing?!" He looked down at them, the grief overshadowing his will to live. He raised a hand and waved at them. He reached up to his mask and remove them from his face, letting them hang around his neck.

"Hey," He let a carefree smile light up from his face. "The year and months we spent together was the most fun I had." He looked forward, stepping closer to the edge as the voices started to shout more loudly. "I will never forget the memories that I had with you." He closed his eyes, running, and as he is about to leap off. He yelled, hoping that they hear him.

"I love you!"

"NO!" They all shouted, sprinting towards the fence that separates them from the ocean. Jungkook was about to jump after him but a hand grabbed him.

"What are you doing?! Let go!" Jungkook struggled, his eyes focused on where the masked boy had landed. He was hoping that the boy will resurface then laugh at their faces, telling them that it was a joke.

"We can't! Hoseok and Jimin already called for help. You'll drown if you try!" Seokjin argued, wrapping his arms around Jungkook to prevent himself from doing actions.

"But... Tiger..." Seokjin let his head fall on Jungkook's shoulder. "We never even got to know his name."

When the rescue team came and searched for any signs. They were told that they couldn't find the masked boy. However, they were told that they found a piece of evidence by the platform that the boy had jumped from. A necklace with the design of a rose, the color of red and silvery-white.

They were made to believe that he was gone.
