A/N: Before you start reading, I just want to THANK YOU for being the best readers I could ever have(and thank you guys more at the end of the book too). To express my love to you all, I have made this chapter longer than usual! Enjoy!
"I'm just like you
Even though my problems look nothing like your's do
Yeah, I get sad, too
And when I'm down I need somebody to talk to
Yeah, I feel the same as you would do
Same stress, same shit to go through
I'm just like you
If you only knew"

~At the Eden club
Your POV
Connor used Hank's car to drive since Hank was still drunk. But during the drive, I was wondering if androids even need a drivers license. I guess not because we didn't get pulled over(but then again, we're all cops so...).
"Awww... Feels like somebody's playing with a drill inside my skull..." Hank looks at the Eden Club.
"You sure this is the right place?" Hank questioned.
"It's the address in the report," Connor answered.
"Right... Okay, let's get going." Hank opens the door and accidentally bumps his head on the door. I place my hand over my mouth to conceal my laughter. Hank gives me a death stare before he rubs his head and exits the car.
When I stepped out of the car, memories of this mission started flowing into my brain.
I remember this mission, but what happened?
I tried to think of what happened, but I couldn't figure it out.
Connor must've seen me thinking hard because he looked at me with worry.
"(F/N), if you don't feel comfortable with what you see, then I can take you to the car and you can wait for me and Hank."
"N-no, I'm fine. I just...remembered something. Let's continue." I said while I stayed behind him so I can remember what happened.
As I observed Connor, I started to get jealous. At first, he stared at the walls, the floor, then at the androids that were either trapped in a glass door or dancing in front of us as we walked in. He was staring at the androids really closely and stopped at his tracks for a couple of seconds.
Something inside of me started to boil.
"Connor, why are you staring at the androids?" I say with my arms crossed.
He turns around and cocks his head a little. "I need to see if one of them are a deviant. Just in case. Why did you ask?"
I got taken back from his response and didn't know how to answer him. "N-nothing..." I say as I look at something else to distract myself.
"Could you guys hurry the fuck up? We don't got all day ya know?" Hank said before he enters the room that the crime scene took place.
When we entered in, we were greeted by Gavin and Chris.
"Lieutenant Anderson and his plastic pet... The fuck are you two doing here." Gavin says before he spots me behind Connor.
"Oh, and the beautiful angel (F/N) has arrived too. Looking good hun." He says as he whistles.
I ignore the comment while Connor responded, "We've been assigned all cases involving androids."
"Oh yeah? Well, you've been wasting your time." Gavin looks at the dead man lying on the bed.
"Just some pervert who, uh, got more action that he could handle." Gavin turns to me.
"But I can give you all the action that you need."
He's so disgusting...
Right before I'm able to speak, Connor steps up and opens his mouth.
"And so can I." He says with confidence.
Gavin opened his mouth wide when he heard Connor while Hank is literally dying with laughter in the background.
Connor is looking at all of us confused.
"Well, I'm going to leave you all here. There's nothing to investigate." Gavin says. He looks at Connor.
"And don't think that you're better than me. Stay in your place." Right before he and Chris leaves, Gavin gives a sly smirk and looks at me up and down.
"(F/N), I'm at the bar across the department if you still want that action." I give him a disgusted look before I turn to Connor.
"Alright, time to investigate," Hank says as he stretches his arm and starts to look around. Connor does the same.
As they look at the other things, I walk to the Traci on the floor.
Poor thing...
I look at her for a while before I started to remember.
Connor can activate her! But she is only awake for a little bit...
"Connor! Come here!" I waved Connor to me. He walks to me and bends down to take a closer look at the Traci.
"What did you find, (F/N)?" He asked
"Can you activate this Traci? I think we only got very little time if we want answers from her."
"That's going to be very difficult, but I think I can do it." He flashes a small smile at me.
Oh my god, whyyyy..... I'll pass out if you keep doing that.
Connor swiftly puts his hand on top of the Traci's stomach. The skin on his hand and the Traci's stomach disappears, leaving the layer inside the skin exposed. He softly presses the Traci's stomach, revealing the wires underneath. Connor takes two wires and connects them together. Instantly, the Traci woke up and crawled away from us.
The Traci's LED is flashing red and yellow, a sign of stress.
Connor softly bends down and starts talking to the Traci.
"I'm going to ask you some questions. Are you able to speak?" Connor asked with his soothing tone.
"Is he..." the Traci says before she looks at the dead man. "Is he dead?"
Connor, ask her for the facts. We don't have time!
"Tell me what happened." It was like he read my mind and did what I wanted. Thinking back when I played through the game, I have chosen the same option too.
"He started...hitting me...again...and again." The Traci started to say.
Wasn't there a second option to ask about the murderer?
"I begged him to stop, but he wouldn't. It was like he was enjoying it..." She said
"Did you kill him?"There it was, the second option.
"No...no, it wasn't me..." she answered.
Crap, I don't think we have a lot of time left. ASK IF THERE WERE SOMEONE ELSE THERE TOO!
"Were you alone in the room? Was there anyone else with you?" Connor asked
"He wanted to play with two girls...That's what he said, there were two of us..." The Traci answered.
Other Androids.
"Where did the other android go? Did it say anything?"
We ran out of time before the Traci was shut down before she was able to say anything. Connor looks at her before she gets up and faces Hank.
"So, there was another android..." Hank said. "This happened over an hour ago, it's probably long gone."
Connor continuously looks at the Traci.
Can you NOT make me jealous Connor? Like, you're mine, but you're not...
"No...It couldn't go outside dressed like that unnoticed." Connor explained
Then I remembered something. "Connor! Check the androids outside to see if any of them spotted a Traci coming out of this room!"
Connor looks at me with amazement. "The android's memory gets wiped out every two hours. We need to hurry if we want to catch the Traci!"
The three of us exit the room and look for an android that might've seen a Traci walk out of the room.
I remember this part... it took me a while to find the right androids.
Without hesitation, Connor walks up to one of the androids that were inside the glass cylinder.
"Hank, could you rent this Traci?" Hank eyes him with disapproval, but he does it anyway.
"This won't look good on my account." Hank puts his and on the sensor and confirms payment.
The door opens and the Traci walks out. She takes Hank's hand and tries to lead him to a room.
"Connor, do your thing," Hank says as he tries to pull himself from the android.
Connor takes the android's hand and accesses her memory.
I close my eyes to try to remember how the Traci looked like.
"It's a blue-haired Traci!" Connor and I shouted. We look at each other surprisingly.
"Wow, I guess you guys are a match from heaven," Hank said with his arms crossed.
Connor looks at Hank with his head tilted to the side. He then looks at me for an answer.
"L-let's just find the blue-haired Traci," I say as I started walking.

After a long hassle of looking through the android's memories,(and a lot of wasted money, sorry Hank) we made it to the staff room.
"Wait," Connor and I look back at Hank. "I'll take it from here," Hank said as he reached for his gun and opens up the door.
The room was filled with androids that were either on a table or just standing there.
We quickly look at the room to see if we can spot the blue-haired Traci. I look through a group of androids and noticed that one of them have a LED flashing red and yellow. Before I had any time to react, a brown-haired Traci started attacking me.
"(F/N)!" Connor shouts as he tries to get the brown-haired Traci off of me.
Hank is fighting the blue-haired Traci as the brown-haired Traci tries to stop us from going to Hank.
After a long fight(it felt long for me because I didn't know how to fight...) the two Tracies got together and held hands before they started to run outside. Connor pulled out his gun and aimed it on one of them.
Everything started to slow down. Time stopped.
Connor! Don't shoot!
Connor didn't shoot and got kicked be one of the Tracies. The Tracies stopped and turned around.
"When that man broke the other Traci," the blue-haired Traci started to say, "I knew I was next."
She took a short pause before she continued. "I was so scared... I begged him to stop, but he wouldn't."
I checked on Connor to make sure he was ok. He looked...Sincere?
"And so I put my hand around his throat, and I squeezed...until he stopped moving. I didn't mean to kill him. I just wanted to stay alive..." The brown-haired Traci started to come closer to the blue-haired Traci and held her hand. "get back to the one I love."
The blue-haired Traci looked at the brown-haired Traci before she continued to speak. "I wanted her to hold me in her arms again, make me forget about the humans...their smell of sweat and their dirty words."
"Come on, let's go." The brown-haired Traci said as she nudged the blue-haired Traci to leave
They give us a quick look before they climbed the metal fence and ran away.
Connor turned around to look at me and Hank, displaying his yellow LED as well.
"It's probably better this way..." Hank said before he left us.
I look at Connor with worry, since his LED is not changing back to light blue.
His system instability must've gone up...
Without a second thought, I gave him a hug.
Connor was taken back from my action. He didn't know what to do at first, but he hugged me back at the end.
A/N: HELLO PEOPLE! I'm finally free from all my test and a lot less stressed(but still stressed about what my grade will be) but I want to thank each and one of you guys for still staying with me and being patient with me. I thought that I would get hate comments if I didn't update this book, but instead, all of you guys made me laugh in the comments. For some reason, when I tried to reply to your comments in on my phone, it wouldn't allow me to. I have tried logging in and out and have also deleted the app and reinstalled it as well, but I would only be able to comment for a brief while before it says, "User not logged in". I try to comment using my laptop, but since I usually write the chapters on my way to school, I don't bring my laptop with me. Even if I don't reply to all of your comments, I can guarantee you that I read each and one of them. That's all!
