Your POV

After I ate my pancakes(as Connor was staring at me while I was eating), I decided that we needed to do something fun today.

"Connor, could you search up a place where we can have fun?" I asked him

He looked at me confusingly.

"(F/N), you need to say at home. Your ankle is still not healed ye–" He looks at my left ankle. The purple that was on the ankle was completely gone. Both of us were staring at it with awe.

I move my ankle around just to make sure that it was fine and that I wasn't hallucinating.

Does this have to do with the fact that I'm not from this world?

I glance at Connor nervously. "I-I guess my ankle wasn't hurt that bad... icing it really helped heal..."

I knew he was suspicious of it, but he decided not to ask about it.

"Well, if you're feeling better now, then we could go somewhere to have fun..." Connor said. He proceeded to close his eyes.

Seconds later, he opens it up.

"(F/N), would you be interested in going to the movie theater?" I look up at him.

The movie theater? They still exist? Oh my god, I could watch ever Pixar or Disney movie that hasn't been released yet!

"Sure!"

However, when we got to the movie theater, my hopes went down. THERE WAS NO PIXAR OR DISNEY MOVIE!

Of course, Pixar and Disney do not exist in the game... I'm so stupid...

Connor looks at me. "(F/N), is there something wrong? Did you not want to come to the movie theater? We can go somewhere els–"

I stop him mid-sentence. "N-no! It's fine... It's just that the movies that I wanted to see are not on today."

"Oh. Well, I would recommend going to another movie theater, but it's pretty far from here."

"I think any movie should be okay." I glance at the screen that had blurbs about each movie.

There were lots of movies that I didn't really like or that I thought weren't really interesting to watch. However, there was one that caught my eye.

"Connor! I want to watch this one!" I point at the title that I wanted to watch.

Connor looks at the movie. "(F/N), this movie is rated M. Are you sure you want to watch it?"

I started heating up. I had only looked at the blurb, but I did not look at the rating.

"I-It's fine... it can't be that bad..."

We then proceeded to go to the movie booth to purchase our tickets. When we got there, we were greeted by an android.

"Hello. Welcome to the Movie Theater. How can I help you today?" The Android asked.

Before I was able to speak, the Android's LED turned yellow. I looked at Connor. His LED was also yellow as well.

"Payment confirmed. Here are your tickets." The Android proceeded to give us tickets.

"Please enjoy the movie and have a nice day!" The Android said before we went our way.

I look at Connor. "You paid the movie tickets with your mind?" I asked him

"Yeah, pretty much."He responded.

"Wow, if only the future was like that in my world..." I mumbled

"What?" Connor asked.

"O-oh, I said that androids are really cool."

I need to seriously stop speaking my thoughts out...

"I see," Connor said.

Right before we enter the auditorium, Connor nudges me.

"I have researched that humans like to get some stuff to eat and drink while they watch a movie. Would you like to get some food and beverages?" He asked.

Damn, I totally forgot about popcorn.

"Yeah! Let's get some popcorn and slushie!" I then take Connor to the food stand.

As we waited in line, an old couple in front of us turned around.

"Hello!" The old lady said. "My name is Casey and this is my wife, Olivia." She looks at the woman next to her.

"We just wanted to tell you guys how nice it is to see two young adults together. You guys reminded me of when we were young." Olivia said.

"O-oh, I'm sorry we're not dating..." I shook my head.

The couple let out a small chuckle. "Awww... don't be shy," Casey said. She proceeded to come close to me and whispered into my ear.

"He may be an android, but love is love; you can't deny it." Connor looked at me as he cocked his head to the side a little bit, probably wondering what she was saying to me.

"Don't let the little things stop you guys from being together," Casey said.

"Next in line please." The android at the counter said.

"Well, it was nice talking to you guys. I hope you guys have a wonderful time at the theater!" Olivia said as they waved goodbye.

"Bye!" Connor and I said in unison.

Connor's POV

As watched (F/N) interact with the old couple, something inside me pounded a little faster. Maybe it's that same malfunction once again.

"They were a really nice couple." (F/N) said to me.

"Yeah." Was all that came out of my mouth.

"I can't believe that by 2038, people have finally accepted same-sex couples! This is amazing!" She exclaimed.

"Are you interested in same-sex marriages?" I asked her.

"Well, back in 2018[or whenever you read this book] people didn't really like the idea of it, even though they were lawfully allowed to. Some people were homophobic and hated the idea of same-sex marriage." She said.

"SOMEONE STOP HIM!" Someone yelled.

The old couple standing in front of us pointed at a man who was running away. It seems that someone has stolen their wallet. Without hesitation, I run and catch the man.

I was able to catch the robber before he was able to reach the entrance of the movie theater. I pinned the human down and cuffed him.

"Connor, are you okay?" (F/N) said as she caught up to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied. It was... good to know that (F/N) was wondering if I was okay. The flow of Thirium in my body started to run through my body at a really fast rate.

I immediately called the department to let them know that there was a robbery at the movie theater. Luckily, there was a nearby cop that happened to be on duty to help us bring the man back to the department. We took the wallet from the man and returned it to the couple.

"Thank you so much!" Olivia said as I handed the wallet to her.

"You're welcome," They then thank us 26 times before they headed off to their destination.

(F/N) looks at me with approval. "That was really kind of you to do." She said.

"Well, we are cops, so it was something that I was programmed to do anyway," I told her.

"That is true..." she said as she frowned.

Did I say something wrong?

Before I got to ask her if everything was alright, she went to grab the popcorn and drink before we headed into the auditorium...
