I felt Creek's hands snake around my waist. "Creek..." I tried to say, but the rest of my words wouldn't come out. "I'll be gentle." He stroked my hair. I felt his lips slightly press against mine. I wanted to punch him right now. Or even worse, kill him, but I was too weak to even move. There was nothing left to do but let it happen. I heard someone burst in the room. "Get away from her!" The voice sounded familiar. Whoever it was, they saved me. I felt their arm grab my waist and help me up. "Are you okay Poppy?" I wasn't able to respond. I think there was more to our conversation but I hit my head so hard I couldn't remember. "We're going home." A few other hands helped me to walk to my dorm and I dozed off to sleep.
The next morning I felt a weird tingly feeling all over my body. I had fallen asleep on Branch's lap with an ice pack behind my head. I went to the bathroom and removed the ice pack. I touch the back of my head feeling a burning sensation and a little bit of dry blood. "Poppy.." Branch called out. I turned around with a worried look on my face. I had so many questions. "Creek almost raped you." He sighed. How? Why? "What exactly happened?"

"Shouldn't Poppy be back by now?" Suki asked. She's right. Poppy should be back by now. I ran upstairs through the highly large crowd. When I got up there I saw Creek kiss Poppy and it really pissed me off. I couldn't move, all I felt was jealousy and hatred. I thought she wanted it, but then I saw that she hit her head pretty hard. He was about to rape her. I ran in the room pulling Creek off of Poppy. "Get away from her!" I grabbed her waist and led her to the door. There was blood oozing from the back of her head. "Oh my god, Poppy." She grabbed my cheek and bit her lip. I was taken aback when she pressed our lips together, I didn't want to let go. "Poppy!" We pulled away once Suki arrived. We took her back to our dorm where she fell on the ground. "I'll take it from here." I reassured Suki. She forced a smile and walked back to her own dorm. I got down on the ground and tried to help Poppy up, she didn't want to move. "N-no." She started swearing under her breath. I sat down next to her and ran my fingers through her hair, she seemed to like that. I grabbed an ice pack and placed it on the back of her head, she laid on my lap. I've never seen so much beauty in a girl. I looked down to see her sleeping and smiled, it made my nerves relax. Then I dozed off to sleep.

"Oh." Poppy sighed. I wasn't stupid enough to tell her that she had kissed me of course. I really have to tell her how I feel before it's to late. "Hey Poppy?" She turned around putting her hairbrush down slightly licking her lips. "Yes?" Here we go. "I like..umm, uhh." Goddammit Branch! "I like...food!" Oh my god!!! She nited her eyebrows together. "Do you want me to get some?" I rubbed my neck. "Sure, Branch. I'm gonna go take a shower, bye love." She pecked my cheek and winked at me closing the door. Love. She called me love. I blushed at the thought as plopped myself down on my bed. It was Saturday, so our crew might as well hang out today. I pulled out my phone and texted the group chat.

I look up to see that beautiful girl's bright and joyful face. She was so damn gorgeous. I felt her arms suddenly wrap around my waist. I returned her hug and smiled to myself. "Branch," She said softly. "Yes?" We separated and she twiddled her fingers. "What happened to your parents?" I absolutely hated talking about this subject. "I don't really want to talk about it. Sorry, Poppy." She cracked a small smile and went to go get a bowl of cereal. "Do you mind if we hang out today? Just you and me?" I turned around hoping she wouldn't notice my smile. "Sure."
