A war broke out, dividing two realms, one side has the infamous Zero, while the other side had Y/N, only one will fall. Skully and Beta were assigned to scout into the boundary line, they found nothing and got back safely, as that was going on, Y/N told SMG3 to summon a portal to the Guardian's realm to get some help, hopefully they can do something.

Beth: So, any reports of Zero or his fiends?

Beta: Nope nothing.

Skully: I didn't see them on our land, but we never know when they'll strike.

Beta: That's the scary party, but no, we found nothing of interest.

Beth: Alright, good.

She leaves to go report this info to Y/N.

Skully: Still can't believe they killed Peach..

Beta: We'll avenge her.

Leo: We'll take care of the castle while you three are gone.

Then floating spirits hover down to speak with you.

SMG4: Zero is trying to fuse our world with his, we need your help!

Guardians: We're sorry, but our powers cannot interfere with the realm you beings live in.

As they were talking, someone decided to walk in unannounced.

Meggy: Oh great, its this fool again..

It drew a scythe and gestured it to come at them.

Atomic Skully: I am here to finish what Zero couldn't, prepare to perish.

Leo: Lets fucking go then.

Leo rushed at him, shooting his dualies in his face, but all that did was evaporate the ink off of him, he grabbed Leo by the shirt and headbutted him, hearing a crack in his head, he threw his body away into the distance.

Simon: LEO!

Desti: YOU BASTARD!

Beta: You're gonna regret that..

Beta stabbed Atomic Skully through the stomach with his scythe, he takes it out and goes for another swing, he blocks it and launches Beta into the air , before he could land, he snapped his spine in half.

Tari: NOOO!

Skully: SHIT!

He threw his lifeless body off to the side and uses his scythe to put a hole into Axol's chest, killing him too. This woke Melony up.

Melony: WHO HURT MY FRIENDS!?

She spots Axol's body and teared up.

Skully: There's your killer..

Melony looks up and fights him, the two began to have their own sword fight, eventually, Atomic Skully sent a shockwave that evaporated Bob and flung everyone else.

Mario: Hey! Motherfucker! Take-a this!

He tries throwing hot sauce into his eyes, only to end up getting evaporated as well.

Luigi: MARIO!

Skully: Where are Y/N and the other two!? We need them!

Meggy: I don't know!

Y/N: Now what? Our problems can't be solved this way, who this chosen one?

SMG3: I don't know..

SMG4: Lets just head back, we'll know soon enough.

Saiko and Boopkins are both dead, burned to death by the fiend.

Melony goes up to fight him again, but ended up being thrown into the moat.

Y/N: Why isn't the portal working?

SMG4: It's fine, it takes a few kicks.

The portal finally turns on and they find everyone dead.

Y/N: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!?

Meggy: Y-Y/N?...*cough*

Y/N: MEGGY!

You run over to her to find burn marks and a stab wound through the chest.

Meggy: I-I'm sorry...I tried to fight him...*Cough* Cough*

Meggy held your hand and softly smiled.

Meggy: You didn't do anything wrong...

Y/N: But I- I should've stayed..

She let out one little breath, before she stopped breathing, you saw the life leave her eyes and her hand fell out of your hand..you nearly broke down and the SMG's feel guilty. They saw everyone was wiped out. They saw Percy half burned, but no pulse, Desti was too lifeless.

SMG3: Everyone's dead..

They then hear sniffling coming from a cave. They went to go investigate to find Tari, she's unharmed.

Y/N: TARI!

Tari looked up to find you, SMG4 and SMG3. She hugged you and cried on your shoulder.

Tari: I-I happened so fast..everyone..gone..

Y/N: I know, I know..

SMG4: Is anyone else alive?..

Then a soaking wet Melony came out and walked towards them, they saw and hugged her, she quickly hugs back and cries.

Y/N: Who did this?..

Melony: Atomic Skully...

Y/N: Where is he?..

As you said that, you hear screaming and electricity, you all run over to find Skully and his Atomic Counterpart colliding their atomic breath with each others, Skully was growing weaker and eventually Atomic Skully's beam aimed for his eye.

Skully: GAH!

Atomic Skully: What's wrong? Too weak to keep fighting?..

Skully held is eye in pain, he looks back at his counterpart and let his eye go, revealing a scar and a red eye.

Skully: You're going to need more plasma to kill me.

He then rushes at Atomic Skully, sending a kick to the head and pointed his laser pistol at him.

Skully: and Boom.

He headshots him, causing him to glow hard.

Atomic Skully: N-no! NO! NOOOOO-

He self destructs, sending a shock wave at everyone, luckily, no one was harmed, except for Skully.

Y/N: Skully! Are you ok?!

He looks over and slightly nods.

SMG4: Here..for your eye..it's gotta hurt, right?

Skully takes an eyepatch for his eye and wraps it around him.

Skully: Thanks..

SMG4: No problem..come on, we got Zero to take down..

SMG4, SMG3, Y/N, Tari, Melony and Skully walk away to go find him on his side. Seems like Zero already beat them to it.

Zero: Well, well, well, we have our hero's, where are your friends?

He laughs.

SMG4: You sent him out there to stop us?!

Zero: Why yes, did a good job, didn't he?

Skully: Well he didn't make it out alive.

Zero: That was a sacrifice I was always willing to make..he died as a true fighter.

Y/N: Well we're here to take you down, once and for all..

Zero: Why not have some teams, shall we? Negative! I think it's time for a battle..

Negative then appears out of the air.

Negative: A̸ ̸f̷i̵g̵h̸t̵?̴ ̴D̵o̸n̸'̸t̶ ̵m̴i̵n̶d̴ ̴i̴f̶ ̴I̸ ̷d̷o̴.̴

They both take out their swords, Zero's sword had a zero symbol on his, while Negative's sword had a minus symbol on his.

Negative: W̷e̶'̸r̵e̵ ̴g̸o̶n̴n̵a̵ ̷s̶u̸b̸t̶r̸a̷c̴t̵ ̴y̷o̶u̶ ̶f̸r̶o̷m̵ ̸t̴h̶i̷s̸ ̶r̷e̸a̸l̷m̵!̷

Zero: With ease.

Skully: Bring it.

SMG3 and SMG4 go ahead and clash against Zero, while You, Melony and Skully fought Negative. The swords clash, Negative goes to swing, you dodge and cut his leg with your sword, limping now, Melony sneaks from behind and goes in for a stab, only to be blocked by Negative, Skully distracts him by shooting him in the face, he took the dolphin and threw him away.

Tari: I'll go see if he's ok!

She ran over to see him.

Y/N: Nice job Negative, but you forgot one thing.

Negative: O̶h̶ ̷r̵e̸a̴l̸l̴y̷?̸ ̸W̴h̸a̸t̵ ̴w̶o̵u̵l̵d̷ ̶t̸h̷a̸t̴ ̴b̵e̵ ̷i̶f̷ ̶I̵ ̴m̷a̷y̴ ̶a̸s̴k̸?̶

Y/N: Melony.

His eyes widen and he saw a sword into his chest.

He coughs up purple blood and fell into the moat bellow, eaten by the moat monsters.

You look over to see SMG3 and 4 struggling against Zero's wrath. You go over to help, he saw this and grabbed you and Melony and threw you into the SMG's. Tari and Skully came back to see their friends in vein.

Skully: Shit..

Tari: What are we going to do?!

Skully: *Sigh* I know..

Tari: What?..

He walks in front of you, Melony, SMG3 and 4.

Skully: Turn back and walk away..and I'll spare your life.

Zero: HAH! You? You really think you can beat me all by yourself?

Skully: I won't ask again.

Zero: Okay hater, how's this for an answer?

He threw a knife into his shoulder, but he didn't even flinch, he just yanked it out like it was nothing.

Skully: Wrong answer.

His took off his eye patch to reveal his red eye again, his eyes glowed, he charges up for another atomic breath attack, this time, it was ten times more powerful..the red and the blue energy coursing through him mixed and became dark purple. Once it hit Zero, he shrikes in pain as his skin slowly melted away and flesh started to appear, soon bone reached, after he used all of his power he had left, Zero fell to his knees, Skully limps over and pushed his head gently, he fell over, now defeated.

SMG4: Holy shit...

SMG3: He kicked his ass..

Y/N: Skully? Are you ok?

Skully coughed up some smoke and turned to you, nodding.

Skully: The real question is, are YOU ok?

His throat was sore and scratchy, so he sounded off.

Y/N: Y-yeah..I think I am..but your vocal cords-

Skully: I'll be fine..

Y/N, Melony, SMG4 and SMG3 get up.

The six got into a group hug, not wanting to let go of each other.

Y/N: We won, but at what cost?

Skully: Half of everyone's lives lost?

They mourn their deaths, they didn't go in vein as you and your friends defeated both threats.

SMG4: Come on..let's go and clean up this place.

-A week later-

Birds were chirping, the sky was blue with little clouds passing by, Toads were happy and finally at peace, but for the castle, without Peach, they were leaderless, so the Toads needed to vote for a new one, and surprise, they chose you to rule over the kingdom. Things were getting back to normal, you still miss Meggy and everyone else. While you were sitting on your throne, someone came to the doors.

SMG4: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Glitchy.

SMG4: Hey, we found two others.

Y/N: Really? Who?

All of a sudden, two familiar people appear.

Y/N: Percy?! Simon?!

Percy: Yep.

Simon: Hey your majesty.

Y/N: Please, call me Y/N.

Percy: Hey, sorry we couldn't make it, we kinda ran into Zero's henchmen.

He pulls out a decapitated head of Jackson.

Percy: Took his head off.

Simon: I still think that's too far..

Y/N: It's good, glad he's gone.

Percy: And..I'm truly sorry about Meggy..you two were really close.

Y/N: I-it's fine..it wasn't your fault.

Percy: Say, since you're the new prince, does that mean we get to be your knights?

Y/N: Hmm. Now that you've said that, yeah, you'd make a good knight, and for Simon, he can be the professor.

Simon: I love that.

SMG4: Of course.

Y/N: How are Melony, Tari and Skully?

SMG4: They're fine, well Skully's been getting ill every day, I'm worried about him.

Y/N: Yeah..me too..

Everyday, Skully would be seen leaning against walls and looking a bit pale, but you all thought it was just a flu, but no..it was something much worse..He was dying, sure, he killed off Zero, but it costed him his power to be drained, which means, his life is in vein. He went to go sit down to drink some coffee.

Tari: Skully?

Skully: Yes Tari?

Tari: Are you ok..?

Skully: Yeah, I'm okay..just beat.

Tari: From what?

Skully: I couldn't tell you, everyday it feels like my body can't function properly..I don't know if it was from the fight or what.

Tari: Are you sick?

Skully: No, I've been sick before, this isn't the feeling..

Tari: Well, you wanna rest? There's a couch.

Skully: You know what, that actually sounds nice..

Tari smiles and helps Skully up, she supports him by wrapping her arm around his shoulder, and soon, they make it to the couch, he lays down and slowly r shut his eyes.

Skully: Thank you..

Tari: Of course.

Y/N then came in.

Y/N: Hey, what's going on?

Tari: He's in the worst condition, what's wrong with him?

Y/N: Could it be his eye? It looked pretty broken and cracked up.

Simon: Probably.

-Many days later-

Y/N called a meeting, hoping to meet everyone.

Tari: You called us Y/N?

Percy: What's up?

Y/N: Where's Simon, SMG4, SMG3 and Skully?

Tari: They should be here.

Simon, SMG4 and 3 shows up through the front doors.

SMG4: Hey Y/N.

SMG3: What up?

Y/N: Where's Skully?

SMG4: I don't know, isn't he in the castle?

Y/N: I thought he was-

Then you hear someone trying to walk down the stars, it was Skully, clinging onto the railings.

Tari: Skully! What's wrong?!

Skully: H-hang on..

He looked horrible, he was more pale than he was before and his eyes are fading to more grey than blue. He lost his grip on the railings and toppled down stairs.

SMG3: Ow..that's gotta hurt.

Y/N: Skully, you're worrying us..tell us, what's the matter?

Skully: *Cough* Sorry Y/N..I wanted to come down stairs to attend the meeting..

Tari holds him.

Tari: What's going on?..

Skully: Ever since the Zero incident..that blast emptied what's left of me, My life is draining from me as we know it.

This news hit you all deep..

Y/N: W-what?..N-no, we lost so many..we can't lose you as well..

Skully: Im truly sorry Y/N..I wish it could've gone a different route, but that's just not how life works..

Tari tears up and hugged him close.

Skully: Hey..take care of yourselves, that's all I ask, live up to your dreams and don't give up, no matter how hard life gets..promise me that?..

Y/N: We will Skully..we will..thank you for serving with us.

Skully: My pleasure..

His coughs up some smoke, and after that, he took his last breath and closed his eyes. He was dead.

Tari: N-no..

Another funeral was held that day to honor Skully and his heroic actions, defeating his Atomic clone, evaporated Zero and so on.

SMG4: What do we do now?...

Y/N lost all feeling inside of him, he looked out in the distance.

Y/N: Whatever wants to challenge us. We'll be ready..

SMG4, SMG3, Tari, Melony, Percy and Simon stood by Y/N's side, also looking out in the distance.
