Description: what if Harry ended up in Slytherin

The only reason Harry did not end up becoming evil in slytherin originally is because Ron and Hermione basically adopted him.

This would definitely go wrong though.
Harry already has some empathy issues, he is not very good at it. He may empathize with Dobby, but only because Dobby's life is as worse as his. He has deep emotional issues and on and on.

So in the scenario where the story becomes interesting. I consider that without friends (Ron would be at BEST weary of him and Hermione would not be his friend or acquitance at all) at least at the start, Harry will focus in the first thing that interested him from the Magic World....Magic itself.....and we know where that may lead, specially without friends.

Slytherin attitude will start to resonate with him but only to Mudbloods who are effecting his life negatively since his mother is a muggle-born. But he may very well start hating or at least look down on Muggles. He SORT OF ALREADY does in cannon, he cares very little for his relatives, has zero muggle friends. Why it has NOTHING to do with racism, he is simply not overly attached to the Muggle world. He has no reason to do so.

While the cannon adventures have to happen (If not there is no point to the books) they will have a different flavour to them. And they will probably be darker. Again, Ron and Hermione are not his friends. And I doubt that someone in Slytherin would want to risk their necks. So I think Harry will start to become dangerously self-reliant. He becomes colder and colder and more violent with each adventure but maybe he could get help from Draco Malfoy....

In Year 1

Awkward though. Ron is not a bully, he and Harry will simply stop talking. It is to awkward and weird for them to keep being friends, maybe it will change but not for a while. Hermione is OUT of the story, not because she dies, beacause Ron, without Harry will not get into troubles or anything, so she and Ron have no reason to really interact, he would stick with Dean, Neville and Seamus.

Harry will not join the Quidditch this time, first cause there is no space. Second he would not care about helping a Gryffindor and get on the bad side of his Slytherin Housemates, so he gets in a team during his 2nd year at Hogwarts.

His relationship with Snape is LOADS better and they support each other and one day in his last few years Harry gets to know about how snape loved his mother. Harry is alone most of the time, so he studies, he has nothing better to do. He goes to the library, talks with malfoy, zabini, Crabbe and Goyle and does his work. He isn't friends with any of them but not enemies.

So the plot has to happen. So after Halloween feast, Harry sees Proffessor Snape's limp and given he is GOOD at putting clues together, he figures that something is in the Third Floor. But his investigation has to wait until Christmas when he gets his Cloak. He goes to the Third Floor and finds Fluffy and asks Hagrid. So he ends in the trail of Nicholas Flamel.

Harry STILL suspects Snape is the main culprit and it has something to do with him wanting the DADA job even though they are close, snape ugh is awfully busy to notice with potion gradings.

, Hagrid and Harry SOMEHOW made it work, Harry is always polite and Hagrid cannot forget the baby he carried accross England. And without Ron (And the idea of Charlie), Harry manages to talk Hagrid into at least confide in Dumbledore. Harry personally does not like, nor dislike the Headmaster, but when he met the man during one of his trips and Harry saw the mirror of Erised, the Headmaster was understanding, but again, this Harry is a cynic.

Slytherin firmly on the lead, Harry finds out of the Philosopher's Stone. And he STILL thinks Snape the culprit, so he tries to find Dumbledore's office, he fails and the Climax is very similar to Book 1.

But Harry is alone.

He beats Fluffy witht he flaute Hagrid gave him. He beats the Devil's Snare on his own, since again, he simply knows more things. He freezes the keys one by one until he gets the one he needs. He avoids the Chess pieces with the Broom and solves Snape's puzzle since he again is MUCH better at Potions (May even better than Hermione) since Snape warned him from day one he will NOT allow Harry embarassing the House. And Harry wanting to keep the man of his back, works harder, since again, Snape does not bother him in classroom and if Harry does particularly well, Snape is ALMOST bearable. But I am loosing track. Harry beats everything alone, even Quirrel.
