Storybrooke, Present, The Town Line

Mr. Gold removes William Smee from the trunk of his car and he says to him," This will only take a moment."

William Smee realizes what Mr. Gold is about to do to him and he begs," Don't push me over. If I cross the line, I'll lose my memory. It's a cruel fate."

" A fate you were more than willing to bestow upon Belle." Mr. Gold growls.

He push Smee to the ground with his cane, and removes his red cap, asking him," You've had this rag since the day we met. Why is it so important to you?"

William Smee quickly answers," My grandmother made it for me when I was a boy. It's always brought me good fortune. What difference does it make?"

Mr. Gold pours a potion on the cap, chuckling out," Oh, ho ho. All the difference in the world. It's your only chance."

He the cap to Smee who puts it back on his head, asking," What do you mean my only..."

Without giving him time to finish, Mr. Gold kicks him across the town line, and magic is visibly running across Smee's body.

As Smee gets up, Mr. Gold asks him," What's your name?"

" William Smee" Smee answers, surprisingly able to remember his own name.

" And who am I?" Mr. Gold asks and Smee answers," Rumplestiltskin."

He stands up, his face filled with disbelief upon retaining his memories," The Dark One. I remember everything! How can this be?"

" Well, it seems that our little experiment was a success." Mr. Gold smirks.

Mr. Gold pulls Smee back across the line and he releases him," Now go."

As Smee runs off, Mr. Gold heads back, declaring out," I have a trip to plan."

Archie Hopper's Burial

At Archie's funeral, the crowd of people stands around mourning as Mary Margaret addresses to the crowd," Some of us knew him as Archie, others as Jiminy, but we all knew him as a true friend. And though he may now be gone he will always live on inside of us, reminding us to be our best selves. To do the right thing, to always fight for what we believe in. So we shouldn't think of today as goodbye, just as a way of saying, Archie we'll be listening."

Mary Margaret hugs David as Marco approaches Archie's grave and places his umbrella by the tombstone, quietly crying," I miss you so much my friend. But at least you're in a better place."

Jolly Roger

While the funeral is taking place, as it turns out, the real Archie is being kept prisoner by Captain Hook.

Archie begs, intimidated by his captor," Wait, no please don't, wait! Please! Please!"

Captain Hook shushes him," Shhh! As your patient the Dark One must have told you all manner of secrets. Where is his dagger?"

Archie quickly denies," I don't know anything about a dagger."

Captain Hook sits back, away from Archie, saying to him," No you don't, do you? It's his weakness. Now tell me, does he have any others?"

Archie does not answer and Captain Hook shrugs," Very well. I've always wanted to dissect a cricket."

He his hook against Archie's forehead, causing him to scream out in terror," No! Wait, wait. Please."

" Aah, that's more like it. Now tell me, cricket. What is his weakness?" Captain Hook questions.

Storybrooke, Present, Mr. Gold Pawnbroker & Antiquities Dealer

The next day, Belle enters the shop, questioning over what was so urgent," Hey. What-ah, what's wrong that you couldn't tell me over the phone?"

Mr. Gold turns to her and he says to her excitingly," I did it. I can leave."

Belle looks at him in disbelief," You can cross the town line?"

" Indeed, I can." Mr. Gold nods and reaches for and grabs potion, explaining to her," When I pour this potion onto the object I hold most dear, that object becomes a talisman, it allows me to cross the town line and still remember who I am."

" And who you're looking for?" Belle asks and Mr. Gold replies," My boy."

" What, um, what will you enchant?" Belle questions.

Mr. Gold removes an item from a safe in the wall behind a photo, showing her a shawl and he answers," This shawl... is all I have left of my Baelfire."

Belle then asks," I don't suppose I could come with you?"

Mr. Gold shakes his head sadly," No, I... I truly wish you could. But I only have enough of this potion for one object."

As he returns the shawl to the safe, he continues," Hey. This is my journey, Belle. This is my journey. I'm afraid that it's something I have to do alone."

The two embraces and Belle nods in understanding," I know."

The Enchanted Forest, Past, Tavern

Belle sits in a tavern, listening to a speech being given across the room as a man called Alistair addresses a group of people," There's a fearsome beast ravaging a faraway kingdom. Its eyes burn with fire. They call it the yaoguai. No man has been able to kill it, but we will! There's room on our wagon. Who's going to join us?"

At that moment, Dreamy approaches Belle's table, asking her," Looking for an adventure?"

Belle looks at him, recognizing him as the Dwarf she gave advices to and she asks," Dreamy, right?"

Dreamy nods," Yes. I came to thank you. That advice you gave me last night... it worked. Nova and I are running away together."

" That's wonderful." Belle smiles, happy for him.

They both look towards Alistair and his group before Dreamy asks Belle," Why don't you sign up?"

Belle scoffs at the notion," Yeah, I've always dreamt of heroics, but I think it's safer I stick to my books. They're the only adventures I know that have happy endings."

" Well, maybe this one will have one, too." Dreamy says and Belle doesn't feel the same way," Well, yeah, I doubt it. Last time I faced a beast, it didn't end well."

" What are you talking about?" Dreamy asks, not knowing what she meant.

Before Belle could answer however, the pair heard Alistair shouts," Men! Follow me! Yaoguai awaits."

Dreamy quickly urges Belle," Get on that wagon. Go! Take a chance."

Belle contemplates for a moment before she says to Dreamy," Thank you."

As she starts to leave, Dreamy quickly stops her," Wait! Belle! Wait."

Belle halts and she turns around, seeing Dreamy hand her a pouch of dust.

" It's fairy dust. It might come in handy." Dreamy explains and Belle quickly rejects it," Uh, no, thank you... I've seen what magic does to people."

Dreamy however, says to her," You've seen what dark magic does. Fairies use this for good. Now go be a hero."

Belle smiles at him and she runs off to join the hunting party.

Storybrooke, Present, Storybrooke Public Library

Belle enters the library only to find a man standing in the corner holding a book.

She quickly addresses the man," Uh, sorry the library's not open yet."

" Oh, I'm not here for the books, love." The man says, revealing his Hook hand and

Belle immediately recognizes him as Captain Hook," You. You're the one that broke into my cell at the Queen's palace."

Belle runs away and Captain Hook gives chase.

Belle hides behind a bookshelf and she says to Captain Hook," You wanted to kill Rumplestiltskin."

Captain Hook simply smirks," Oh I still do. But right now I'll settle for you."

Belle pushes a bookshelf onto him, causing it to fall on top of Captain Hook.

As she runs to the elevator for safety, she uses her cellphone to call Mr. Gold.

" Hey, Belle." Mr. Gold's voice blares from the speaker and Belle quickly tells him," Rumple, I'm I'm in the elevator there's a man in the library, he broke in, he wants to kill me."

Static began blaring as Belle hears Mr. Gold asking her," Belle you, you're breaking up. Who's in the library?"

" A pirate." Belle answers as she hears Mr. Gold ask," Belle?"

" Missing a hand." Belle describes Captain Hook as she hears Mr. Gold repeats her name," Belle?"

" Hello?" Bella calls.

" Belle?" Mr. Gold asks as the line went dead.

The Enchanted Forest, Past, Forest

Belle is riding on a wagon with Alistair's group in search of the Yaoguai.

As she is reading a book, Alistair notices it and he asks her," What's that?"

Belle stares at him, surprised by the question," Uh, a book. I trust you've seen one before?"

Alistair simply scoffs," You expect to beat the fiercest creature in the land with a book?"

Another member of Alistair's party, Claude snarkily tells him," Maybe she means to bore it to death."

As the group chuckles,Belle simply tells him," It will tell us how to find the Yaoguai."

Alistair takes the book, looking through the pages, expressing out his inability to understand the words," These are just scribbles."

" It's called another language. One that I know how to translate. Hmm." Belle says and Alistair question," What?"

Belle simply shrugs," Oh I thought it was just, scribbles?"

Alistair growls at Belle's defiance," We are here to protect the land, girl. If that book tells us where to go you shall share it with us."

" It says we'll find the Yaoguai by the lake." Belle says.

Alistair stares at her," The lake you say."

Belle simply nods," Yes."

Alistair the declares out to Claude,

" You heard her, Claude. We're going to the lake."

With that he kicks Belle off of the wagon, causing her to fall onto the ground.

Belle looks up and she shouts," Wait!"

" Don't forget your book!" Alistair shouts and he throws it to the wind, laughing out.

Belle gets up and retrieves her book, shouting to the group," Enjoy the lake!"

As the hunting party disappears into the distance, Belle reads out-loud to herself," The Yaoguai prefers mountain habitats to all others."

Yaoguai's Lair

At the Yaoguai's lair, Belle is still reading out-loud to herself," The Yaoguai hibernates by day and hunts by night."

She then soon spots a quadrupedal creature resembling a lion sleeping in it's lair.

Bell immediately recognizes the creature as the Yaoguai.

" Please be asleep." Belle begs silently as she draws her knife and walks forward.

However, at that moment, she stepson a twig, the noise waking the Yaoguai up.

The Yaoguai emits a sound from it's lair and she begins to run, panting as the monster began chasing her from behind.

Just as the Yaoguai is catching up to Belle, at the moment, Mulan appears and shoots an arrow,scaring the Yaoguai as it turns back, running off into the night.

Catching her breath, Belle turns to Mulan, asking her," How ever can I thank you? Y-you saved my life."

Mulan however, wasn't very friendly towards Belle," And you ruined my hunt. It took me weeks to track the Yaoguai here."

" Yeah, I found it in a day." Belle argued and Mulan simply remark," You had luck on your side."

" No, not luck. It was this." Belle holds out the book and she offers to Mulan," I could, uh, I could help you find it again."

Mulan however, isn't very welcoming to Belle's offer and she dismisses her rudely," You've done enough damage already. If you really want to help, stay out of my way."

With that, she runs off into the forest to chase after the Yao Guai.

Storybrooke, Present, Storybrooke Library

In the library. Belle is hiding from Hook in the elevator.

The elevator doors open and Mr. Gold appears, calling out to Belle," Belle!"

Belle rushes out and she embraces Mr. Gold who comforts her," It's ok, it's ok."

" W-where, where is he?" Belle questions and Mr. Gold says to her," I don't know. But you've nothing to fear, I'm here now."

The Blanchard Loft

In the Blanchard Loft, Henry looks off into the distance.

Emma goes up to Henry and she says to him," Hey, kid. You hungry? I managed to wrangle up a Pop Tart."

She extends a plate towards him only for Henry to reject the pop tart," No thanks."

Emma places the plate on the bed next to him and walks away, going up to Mary Margaret as she says to her mother," Well, that went well."

Mary Margaret says to Emma," Emma, you're doing all you can do."

Emma sighs," That's what makes me feel awful."

At that moment, Zatanna enters and she says to Emma and Mary Margaret," Hey guys. There's some people who wants to see you."

Emma and Margaret steps out, seeing the Dwarves and Ruby waiting outside.

Leroy steps towards them and he says," The dwarves have been thinking. We have to ask. When do we go back?"

" Back where?" Emma asks and Leroy answers," The Enchanted Forest. Our home."

Mary Margaret stares at him in disbelief," You want to go back?"

" We fought really hard to get here." Emma argued only for Leroy to say to her," But with what Regina did to Archie, Storybrooke ain't as safe as we thought."

Emma vows," We're going to find her. There's only so many places she can hide."

" We've dealt with her before, we'll do it again." Mary Margaret states but

Leroy says to them," But it's not just her. The curse is broken. There's a whole world full of people beyond the town line that don't know who or what we are. Ever think of what might happen if one of them were to come pay us a visit."

Ruby joins in," He's right. What if they see, you know, magic? Like a girl turning into a wolf, for example. Folks weren't exactly understanding back in our world."

Emma quickly quietens the group," Okay, let's not worry about what-ifs. No one is here."

" Yet. Maybe they come, maybe they don't. But that doesn't change the fact that while we might enjoy things like penicillin, we're a bit homesick." Leroy states and everyone nods.

Emma and Mary Margaret looks as Zatanna adds," They do have a point. I also wonder how Kanna and Milo are doing back home."

Streets

Mr. Gold and Belle are walking through the streets as Belle asks him," Where are you going?"

Mr. Gold answers," The shop."

" Why?" Belle asks and Mr. Gold explains sadistically," Well, let's just say there are many wonderful things in there that I could use to make sure that pirate never comes near you again."

Belle quickly stops him," Rumple, no. We need to report this to the sheriff. They'll take care of him. You're so close to finding your son. Please, don't let your hatred for this man get in the way of that."

" But he tried to harm you." Mr. Gold argues and Belle replies by asking him," But why? What happened between you two?"

" Belle..." Mr. Gold sighs as he says to her," It is really not your concern."

" He attacked me. It most definitely is my concern." Belle states.

Mr. Gold sighs and he recalls his past," Many years ago, I was married to a woman named Milah until Hook crossed our paths."

" She was Baelfire's mother?" Belle asks and Mr. Gold nods," Yes. And because of that marauding cur, he grew up without her. He took my wife, he took Bae's mother, so I took his hand."

Belle then exclaims," That's why he came after me. But, what—what about her? What did he do with her?"

Mr. Gold hesitates, she grabs his hand, saying to him," Rumple, you can tell me anything."

Mr. Gold then tells her," She died. That's all that matters."

The pair soon reaches the shop.

As they enter, the pair stood horrified as the shop has been ransacked.

Belle gasps out in shock and she questions out," What happened in here?"

Mr. Gold remembers and he growls," Hook. This is why he attacked you."

"To get you out of the store. What did he want?" Belle asks.

Mr. Gold goes to the safe behind the picture where he stored Baelfire's shawl, only to discover it is missing.

Rooftop

Up on a rooftop where Captain Hook is spying on Mr. Gold and Belle through his telescope. William Smee enters, carrying Baelfire's shawl.

Captain Hook turns and he asks," You have it, Mr. Smee?"

William Smee gives the shawl to Captain Hook and he asks," What is it, Cap'n?"

Captain Hook takes the shawl and he smirks," It's the end of the Crocodile's hope. Now he's trapped here."

Mr. Gold Pawnbroker & Antiquities Dealer

Mr. Gold swings his cane, wrecking everything in sight in a fit of absolute rage as Belle rushes to stop him," Rumple! Rumple! Stop it! Stop! Please!"

Mr. Gold pants and he nods," No, you're right. I'll have to retrieve what's mine."

" Let me- let me help you." Belle offers but

Mr. Gold refuses," This is my fight."

Belle argued," And this is my fault! If Hook had never attacked me, you never would've left the shop."

Mr. Gold looks up and he angrily questions her," How do you propose we get the shawl back?! Have you dueled with a pirate before!? How exactly are you gonna help me?!"

" Well, I'm not just gonna sit here and do nothing!" Belle states.

" No. You're gonna go back to the library, lock the door, and wait for me to dispense with this problem." Mr. Gold orders and Belle defiantly questions," And if I don't? You'll cast some spell that gives me no choice?"

Mr. Gold shakes his head," No. I trust you'll do as I wish, as you trust me to be a better man. Belle, please. Hook has maybe cost me the chance of finding my son! I don't want to lose you, too! Here, look."

He turns around and picks up his gun, giving it to Belle as he instructs her," I want you to take this, just in case Hook is stupid enough to come after you again. Point this, pull this trigger, and the gun'll do the rest for you. All right?"

Belle nods," Yeah. Yes."

As Mr. Gold begins to leave, Belle shouts," Wait. Promise me that you going after Hook is just about getting the shawl back."

Mr. Gold simply exits without replying.

The Enchanted Forest, Past, Mulan's Village

Belle is at a well in Mulan's village when the men from the hunting party enter and corner her.

Before Belle could react, Alistair begins to push her down the well as he angrily say to her," The Yaoguai wasn't at the lake."

Belle stutters as she apologizes to him," I'm - I'm sorry. I must've misread that one."

Alistair however, isn't convinced," Hmm. You know what I think happened? I think you sent us in the wrong direction on purpose."

Out of nowhere, a soldier enters and grabs Alistair away from Belle, saying to him," Let her go."

Alistair pants, growling at the soldier," This isn't your fight, soldier."

Claude unsheathes his dagger, lunging to attack the soldier, but the soldier easily takes him down.

Just as Claude is defeated, the soldier's helmet falls off, revealing the soldier to be Mulan.

Claude looks up, shocked that his opponent is a woman," Wait. You're a..."

Claude didn't get a chance to finish his sentence as Mulan punches him in the face, knocking him out as she says," Yeah. I know."

She draws her sword, ordering the rest of the Hunting Party," Go."

As the group leaves, Belle thanks Mulan for her help," I... didn't expect to see you again. Thank you."

Mulan sheathes her sword and she says to Mulan," I had to put up with brutes like them when I served in the emperor's army - fools who think we have no business holding a sword. I only wish there was someone there to stand up for me."

She looks down to her leg, noticing that she has sustained an injury herself while protecting Belle.

" You're, uh, you're bleeding." Belle points out but Mulan dismisses it," I'll survive. The sun should be setting soon. We need to move out."

Belle stares at Mulan," What- what- what do you mean "we?""

Mulan smiles as she says to Belle," You tracked the Yaoguai in a matter of hours. It took me weeks. You track the beast, and I'll kill it."

Belle smiles back," I'd be honored to help you."

Storybrooke, Present, Storybrooke Public Library

In the library, Belle is rearranging the books that fell from Captain Hook's attack when she notices a nautical knot in the pile.

She picks up a book titled From the Keel Up: A Nautical Guide and identifies the knot to be a 'Monkey's Fist'.

Belle smiles, understanding everything now," Hook came here on his ship..."

Belle then goes out, heading towards an Ice-Cream shop where Zatanna just bought a cone of Rocky Road when she calls to her," Zatanna!"

Zatanna turns and she widens her eyes in surprise," Belle? What are you doing here?"

Belle then says," I need your help. There's something I must get back but I cannot do it alone."

Zatanna then says to Belle," Alright. Lead the way."

Streets

Meanwhile William Smee is walking through the streets with a duffel bag when his path crosses with that of Mr. Gold, who corners him via magic

" Leaving town, Mr. Smee? I spared your life... And this is how you repay me? That object you stole from me- I want it back." Mr. Gold growls and William Smee quickly tells him," I gave it to Hook."

" And where is he?" Mr. Gold questions and William Smee states," I don't know. We- we met on a rooftop. He didn't tell me anything."

" And why would he? Hook knows exactly what you are, Mr. Smee- a sniveling... rat"

As he says, in a flash of black smoke, Mr. Gold transforms Smee into a rat.

Mr. Gold looks down at the rat and he orders," Now scurry off!"

William Smee obediently scurries away from Mr. Gold.

Storybrooke Harbor

Belle and Zatanna at the docks looking for Captain Hook's ship as she asks " Where is it?"

Zatanna then notices  perching on something on thin air and she points out," Look! Those seagulls seems to be perched on something!"

Belle then grabs a handful of feed from a nearby container and throws it at the base of the 'ship'.

The feed reveals the stairway leading onto the boat  and Belle smirks," Found you."

The two women climbs on board, walking through Cora's shield spell and is able to see the ship visibly for the first time.

Belle and Zatanna then moves into the ship, travelling into the Jolly Roger's lower deck as the hear a familiar voice calling out," Hello?"

Zatanna stops Belle and she responds to the voice," Uh, hello?"

" Down here!" The voice calls out.

Belle opens the door to the storage unit and it was where Zatanna and Belle found where Cora and Captain Hook are holding Archie hostage 

Archie looks up and he smiles in relief," Zatanna! Belle!  Oh, thank God!"

" Archie! You're- you're okay?" Zatanna exclaims in shock as Archie nods," Yes, I- I- I am. Can- can you, uh..."

Belle grabs a sword and she uses it to slash through Archie's binds, freeing him as she instructs Dr. Hopper," Go. Find Mr. Gold, tell him I'm here, bring him back to the ship."

Archie looks at Belle, surprised," Wait. You're not coming with me?"

At that moment, the trio hears the sound of footsteps approaching and Zatanna uses her magic, teleporting Dr. Hopper out of the ship, leaving the pair alone to face whoever is approaching.

The Blanchard Loft

Mary Margaret and David are doing the dishes when David spots Henry on the phone, asking his wife," Who's he calling?"

Mary Margaret puts the phone on speaker, revealing Henry is calling Archie's office as they listen to his voicemail,

" You have reached the office of Archibald Hopper. Sorry if I can't take your call right now. Either I'm with a patient..."

Henry hangs up and he says sadly," Or dead."

David assures Henry," It's okay, buddy. Things'll get better, I promise. You just gotta hang in there."

Henry however, disagrees," Doesn't feel that way."

At that moment, the door creaks open, and Pongo dashes into the apartment, startling Henry," Pongo!"

Mary Margaret looks at the dog, confused as she questions out," How did he get in here?"

At that moment, Emma enters and she says to Mary Margaret," I brought him. Marco and I had a chat. Archie knew how much Henry loved this dog. We decided he should have him."

She directs her attention to Henry and asks him," That is, if you're up for taking care of him, Henry."

Henry nods, excited," Yeah, I am!"

Mary Margaret and Emma notice that Pongo tracked in some mud and Emma says to Henry," Henry, why don't you take Pongo outside and clean him up?"

" Okay! Come on, boy!" Henry says to Pongo.

As Henry and Pongo exits the apartment, Emma says to her parents," Look, I know there's a lot to work out logistically, but..."

Mary Margaret quickly shakes her head," No, I think giving Pongo to Henry is a great idea. It's just five people and a Dalmatian, things may get a little..."

Emma nods," Cramped. I know. We'll get creative."

" Or.. we could get our own place." Mary Margaret suggests and David looks at her," You wanna do what?"

Emma froze upon hearing that," You wanna move out?"

Mary Margaret quickly exclaims out," Whoa! I-it's just a suggestion."

" After twenty-eight years, isn't this what we've all been waiting for? All of us under the same roof?" Emma asks and

Mary Margaret nods," Yes, I just imagined a bigger roof... with turrets."

Emma laughs as Mary Margaret says," Being in Storybrooke, we have a chance at a fresh start. Let's take it."

Jolly Roger

Belle and Zatanna are looking for the shawl when Captain Hook enters, carrying it.

" Looking for this?" Captain Hook asks.

The pair looks and Captain Hook smirks as Zatanna growls," Hook."

" Hello luv, aren't you glad to see me again?" Captain Hook asks as Belle points at the shawl in his hand," That doesn't belong to you."

" Oh, it does now." Captain Hook says.

Belle reaches for the gun, but Captain Hook moves swiftly, snatching the gun away as he points it at Belle," My dear Belle, you should've stayed with your books. Real life can get so..."

He aims the gun at her head as he finishes his sentence,"...messy."

The Enchanted Forest, Past, Woods

Belle and Mulan are walking thought the woods as Belle points forward," It's just ahead."

" You found it. Your books serve you well." Mulan says as she looks down at her leg.

Belle notices her wound and she points out," Mulan, your leg's getting worse."

Mulan shakes her head, refusing to give up," No. I have to protect my village."

However, as Mulan takes her next step, Mulan near collapses.

Belle holds up Mulan, questioning out," You can't even walk! How are you going to kill the Yaoguai?"

" I'm not. You are." Mulan says which causes Belle to widen her eyes in shock," Me. I-I'm not a soldier."

Mulan says to her," You have good instincts. You tracked down that beast faster than I ever could."

" Tracking it and killing it are not the same thing." Belle states and Mulan tells her," There was once a time when people thought I didn't have what it took either, but I proved them wrong."

" How?" Belle questions and Mulan tells her," I showed them I had the warrior spirit. Once I found something worth fighting for, I fought for it with everything I had. I never gave up. Belle, the fate of my village depends on you."

She hands Belle her sword and she says to her in an encouraging tone," Don't be afraid."

Storybrooke, Present, Jolly Roger

Belle and Zatanna faces off Captain Hook and Belle says to him," I'm not afraid of you, and I'm not leaving without that."

Captain Hook says to her," Well, I admire you loyalty, but helping Rumplestiltskin? I'm afraid you're fighting a lost cause."

" He needs that shawl to find his son." Belle states only for Captain Hook to question her," What makes you think his son wants to be found? Hmm? I'm doing that boy a favor."

Captain Hook sets Baelfire's shawl on the table as Belle shouts," Have you not hurt Rumple enough?"

" Oh, I've hurt him?" Captain Hook questions as Belle accuses him," You stole his wife."

Captain Hook then asks Belle," Tell me something, luv. If a woman comes to you and begs you to take her away, is that theft?"

Zatanna stares at Captain Hook remembering what he told her back at the beanstalk and she questions," Wait? You're not talking about Milah right? Why would she leave him?"

" Because he was a coward. And because she loved me." Captain Hook says as he walks over to the shawl, clenching his fist over it as he growls," I should've burned this the moment I acquired it."

" Why didn't you?" Belle asks and Captain Hook answers with sadness in his voice," Because she made it."

" I'm sorry she died, but... vengeance? Vengeance won't bring her back." Belle says which cause Captain Hook to look up," Died? Like it was some sort of accident. Is that what he told you?"

" He...well, yeah, he didn't say." Belle stammers, causing Zatanna to look at her as Captain Hook remarks," No, of course not. Of course he'd leave out the most important detail of her passing."

" And uh, what would that be?" Zatanna asks and Captain Hook coldly replies," He killed her. He ripped out her heart and crushed it right in front of me."

" No." Belle shakes her head, refusing to believe it as Captain Hook says," Yes."

" No!" Belle shouts, refusing to believe it as Captain Hook tells her," Oh, yes. He will do anything to hold onto his power. Why do you think anyone who's ever gotten close to him has either run away."

Captain Hook cocks his gun as he continues," Or been killed? Now what makes you think you're any different? Tell me something, darling. Why would you want to fight for a man like that?"

" Because I still see good in him. Because I believe he's changed. Because his heart is true. And yours? Yours is rotten!" Belle strikes Captain Hook, shocking even Zatanna as she grabs the shawl, urging Zatanna," Come on, let's get out of here!"

Captain Hook looks up, recovering as he mumbles," You have no idea..."

Deck

Zatanna and Belle are running with the shawl when Captain Hook shows up in front of the pair.

Belle looks back and then at Captain Hook, confused at how Captain Hook was able to get here that fast," How the hell did you..."

" I know this ship like the back of my own... Well, you know. I suggest you give that back to me now." Captain Hook points his gun only for Zatanna to fire a blast of magic at Captain Hook, sending Captain Hook flying back first into the wall.

As Captain Hook lay dazed, Zatanna stands over him and she threatens," I have quite enough of you Hook. You leave Belle and everyone else alone or I will make sure you and Cora are gonna regret it."

" Thanks for the assist."

Zatanna heard a familiar voice, turning to see Mr. Gold stepping up into the deck of the Jolly Roger and he says to her," Get Belle out of here Zatanna, I'll take things from here."

Captain Hook looks up, spitting out blood as he growls at the man he has worked very hard to track down," You look different in this world, Crocodile. Like the coward I met so long ago- limp and all."

" And yet, you still can't kill me." Mr. Gold states.

Captain Hook gets up, challenging Mr. Gold," Let's have it, Dark One. What magic are you gonna hide behind today?"

Mr. Gold however, had something different in mind," Oh no, not magic."

Mr. Gold then swings his cane across, smacking Captain Hook across the face before using it to to use his cane to beat the life out of the Pirate Captain.

Zatanna rushes forward, stopping Mr. Gold," Hey! Hey! Let's go. Let's go!"

Mr. Gold however, sneers as he pushes Zatanna back," No, no, I'm not finished yet Zatanna! I want him to suffer even more than that!"

As Mr. Gold hits Captain Hook, Belle Baelfire's shawl to stop Mr. Gold from assaulting Captain Hook further," This, this is what you came for. This is what's gonna get you back to Bae."

Captain Hook stood back up, wiping away the blood on his mouth as he says to Belle," You're wasting your breath, love. He can't resist. He has to prove that he's not a coward."

" You might wanna turn away, both of you. This isn't gonna be pretty." Mr. Gold sneers as he strikes Captain Hook again, continuing his assault on the Pirate Captain.

The Enchanted Forest. Past, Forest

Belle is a matter of feet away from the Yaoguai.

Belle the screams out loudly to attract the creature's attention," Over here!"

The Yaoguai turns and Belle quickly runs, causing the Yaoguai to give chase.

Eventually, she leads the Yaoguai into Mulan's village, where she dumps some water onto the Yaoguai, dousing the fire encircling the Yaoguai's head.

Belle raises Mulan's sword, getting read to kill the Yaoguai when it begins to trace something in the dirt with its claw.

Belle stops, realizing that the Yaoguai isn't clawing randomly but rather, clawing words on the dirt.

" You're writing something." Belle gasps and she reads it out the Chinese characters on the dirt.

" Save me." Belle translates the Chinese character, causing her to widen her eyes, understanding what the Yaoguai needs," You need help."

She picks up her pouch of fairy dust from Dreamy, moving close to the Yaoguai as she says," Let's uh, let's give this a try, shall we?"

She pours the fairy dust onto the Yaoguai, causing it to get engulfed in a purple smoke.

When the smoke clears, Belle watches in shock as the Yaoguai has transformed into Prince Phillip.

Prince Phillip looks at his hands, surprised as he gasps out," The curse.. you broke it."

Belle helps him to his feet as she asks the Prince," Someone did this to you?"

" Maleficent." Prince Phillip explains," An evil sorceress from my kingdom, determined to do everything in her power to keep me apart from Aurora, my true love. So she exiled me to this land and turned me into a monster. I tried to warn the villagers, but no one understood what I really was. Except you."

" Well, you're not the first beast I've faced." Belle smiles

Prince Phillip smiles back and he says to her appreciatively," I am forever in your debt. Please tell me how I might repay you."

Belle then tell Prince Phillip," My friend's hurt. She needs a doctor. As do you. Help me bring her back to the village."

Prince Philip nods, willing to help Belle as a form of repayment," It would be my honor."

Storybrooke, Present, Jolly Roger

Captain Hook gets struck by Mr. Gold but despite the pain, he smiles as he provokes him," Do it. Do it! Kill me."

He turns to Belle and he shouts," He has to show you how powerful he is!"

" No. Rumple, this - this is what he wants...to destroy every bit of good in you." Belle cries out to stop Mr. Gold as Captain Hook challenges him once again," Rip my heart out. Kill me like you did Milah, and I'll finally be reunited with her."

" He has to die, Belle." Mr. Gold says as he lunges himself onto Captain Hook to rip out his heart
only for him to freeze in place.

Mr. Gold looks, seeing Zatanna using her magic to restrain him and he growls," Let go of me!"

" No!" Zatanna refuses," Not until you listen to what Belle has to say!"

" There's still good in you. I see it. I've always seen it. Please. Please, show me I'm not wrong.

Mr. Gold sighs out and he says to Captain Hook," You take you little ship and sail until you fall off the edge of the world. I never want to see you again."

Zatanna unfreezes Mr. Gold though he uses his freedom to give Captain Hook a slap in the face.

With everything done, he says to Belle," Let's go."

Zatanna watches Mr. Gold and Belle leaves before she too leaves the scene.

Granny's Diner

At Granny's Diner Mary Margaret and David are looking at houses in a newspaper.

Mary Margaret points at a house and she remarks," I really liked this one."

David stares at it, finding himself unsure about her decision," I don't know, the yard looks kinda small."

" You gonna say that about every house we look at?" Mary Margaret questions in annoyance as David says to her," I grew up on a farm."

Mary Margaret stares at David and she asks," This isn't about the houses, is it?"

David says to Mary Margaret with a worried look on his face,

" We buried a friend this morning, Mary Margaret, and it made me realize, I don't wanna die here."

" But our home, David? It doesn't exist anymore. The ogres are back, Cora's in power..." Mary Margaret states to which David tells her," Which is exactly why we need to return. To make things right, to fight."

" I'm tired of fighting! It's all we've ever done! We have a chance here, a chance to be together." Mary Margaret argues as David counters," But what if we don't belong here? Isn't it worth it to fight for what we really want?"

" Unless we don't want the same thing..." Mary Margaret states.

The Blanchard Loft

Back at Mary Margaret's apartment, Henry is drawing something, with Pongo at his feet.

Emma enters the living room, looking at the drawing Henry is doing and she asks," Plotting your escape from Shawshank, kid?"

Henry shakes his head," No, they're blueprints. I had some ideas about what to do if Mary Margaret and David move out. Look."

Emma looks at the blue prints and she asks," You wanna make Mary Margaret's room an armory?"

Henry nods," Yeah, you know, for weapons and stuff. To protect us, from Regina."

Emma looks at Henry and she assures him," She's not gonna hurt you. We're not gonna let her."

" She hurt Archie. What if she wants to take me back?" Henry questions out, worried as Emma says to him," That's not gonna happen."

Just then, there was a knock on door, causing Pongo let out a whimper.

Emma looks at Pongo and she asks," Pongo?"

She opens the door, and upon seeing Dr. Hopper, Emma widens her eyes in shock," Archie."

Archie smiles at her and he greets her," Hi."

" What happened?" Emma asks as she lets Dr. Hopper in, listening as he explains," It was Cora. She kidnapped me."

" Archie?" Dr. Hopper looks, seeing Henry approaching him with a shocked expression on his face and he smiles," Henry!"

Henry races forward, giving Dr. Hopper a hug as he assures the boy," It's alright. I'm fine."

Emma then tells Henry," Henry, we were wrong. Regina didn't do it."

Henry smiles," I knew it! Maybe we should let her know."

" Yeah. Something tells me either way we're gonna pay the price." Emma says, worried as Archie tells her," We better go find Zatanna. She and Belle were the ones who found me, they'll know what to do."

The town Line

A car approaches with Belle and Mr. Gold inside and comes to a stop.

Mr. Gold holds up the shawl and he says to Belle," This would have been lost, if it wasn't for you, Belle. I would've been lost. After everything you've learned about me, after everything I've done, why haven't you given up on me?"

" I learned a long time ago, that when you find something that's worth fighting for, you never give up." Belle says, causing them both to smile at each other.

The Enchanted Forest, Past, Woods

Belle and Prince Phillip are walking through a forest where Mulan is lying and she tells him," My friend's over that ridge."

Belle then notices Mulan is reading her book and she points out," There she is."

Mulan gets up and limps over to Belle and Phillip, exclaiming out to her," Belle! Oh, you're alive."

Belle nods," And I did it. I defeated the Yaoguai. With a little help."

Mulan then notices Prince Phillip behind Belle and she asks him," Who are you?"

Prince Phillip answers," I was the Yaoguai."

Mulan looks confused and turns to Belle as she explains to her," He was cursed. So I helped him, now his going to help you."

Mulan stares at Belle," What, you're not coming?"

" I have another beast to face." Belle says as she gives Mulan her sword back, and Mulan returns Belle's book.

" Goodbye." Belle bids Mulan farewell as Mulan does the same," Goodbye Belle."

As Belle walks off, Prince Phillip says to Mulan," We haven't been properly introduced. My name's Phillip."

He holds out his hand for Mulan as she shakes his hand, introducing herself to him," Mulan"

The Enchanted Forest, Past, Woods

Belle is walking through the forest.

She looks over the kingdom and she promises with determination in her voice," I'm coming back, Rumple."

As she continues walking and hears a voice saying to her," Isn't that sweet?"

Belle turns around and voice is revealed to belong to The Evil Queen who snarkily says to her," Still fighting for true love. Even to the bitter end."

" How did you find me?" Belle questions out in shock as The Evil Queen answers," You really should be nicer to your travelling companions."

She turns her head, facing the same men from the hunting party who turned out to her guards as she asks," Right Claude?"

Claude nods as The Evil Queen orders her men," Take her to the tower."

The guards grab her as Belle protests out," What? No! What are you-what are you doing?"

The Evil Queen smiles, watching as Belle begs," I-I- can save him! Just let me go to him! I-I can break his curse."

The Evil Queen sneers," You've already tried and failed. That monster's beyond saving. I'm sparing you a lifetime of pain and misery."

Belle gets thrown inside a cage, where she grabs the bar, shouting at The Evil Queen," You can't keep us apart forever. I'll fight for him."

The Evil Queen smiles and rides off on her horse, ignoring Belle as she shouts," I'll never stop fighting for him!"

Storybrooke, Present, Town Line

Mr. Gold pours his potion onto Baelfire's shawl, and magic is seen visibly through it. 

Belle places the shawl onto Mr. Gold's shoulders and she nods," Okay."

Mr. Gold takes a deep breath and he declares out," Here we go."

He crosses the town line, while Belle nervously looks on.

Mr. Gold looks back, still remembering her name as he says to her," Belle."

Belle beams, happy that the magic has protected Mr. Gold's memories," It worked!"

Mr. Gold nods in agreement," Yes, it did. It did."

Belle says to him," Now you can find your son."

Mr. Gold looks at her, expressing out with sorrow in his voice," Oh, Belle, I so wish you were coming with me."

" As do I, but... It doesn't matter." Belle says, causing Mr. Gold to ask," And why not?"

Belle answers," Because you'll find him, and when you do, I'll be here waiting for you when you get back."

 Mr. Gold leans in to kiss her, but before he can, Captain Hook appears from behind, carrying a gun. 

He points it and he opens fire at Belle, hitting her in the shoulder which the impact pushes her across the town line.

As Belle goes past the Town Line, Captain Hook says," I wouldn't count on it."

Mr. Gold looks at Belle, worried as he calls out to her," Belle? Belle! Belle!"

Belle stares at him, confused as she questions Mr. Gold," Who's Belle?"

Realizing what has happened, Mr. Gold shakes his head in distress," Oh, no. No, no!"

" Oh, fear not, she'll live. She'll just have no idea who you are." Captain Hook says as Mr. Gold angrily shouts," What you have done cannot be undone!"

" Well, now you finally know how it feels! Well, go ahead, Crocodile, do your worst!" Captain Hook challenges and 

Mr. Gold snarls," Oh, I intend to."

He magically summons a ball of fire and prepares to launch it at Captain Hook when a car drives up at full speed, driving straight up towards Belle. 

Mr. Gold grabs Belle, saving her just in time, but the car hits Captain Hook and then crashes right next to Mr. Gold and Belle. 

He looks at the car, with a Pennsylvania license plate reading 2KFL~138.
